Anthony's POV:

Heading to the royal hall for my birthday celebration... I saw no single soul. The hall was quite like a grave yard and was been decorated professionally... And it send a sense of birthday ceremony.

I looked around the hall once more and still no single being passed by. My parents should know me by now... I hate celebrating my birthdays outside this royal hall... If so, I won't bother attending it.

In seconds someone covered my eyes... It wasn't violent but my mind prayed that it should be Aria who's closing my eyes. Then I heard loud voices shouting...

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY YOUR MAJESTY".

The hands which covered my eyes came off... I turned around to see my grandmother from my dad's side.

She had a wide smile on her face.

"Surprise". She said smugly.

Yes I was surprised and glad to see her.

"Grandmother". I said as my surprised face shipped to a happy one.

I quickly hugged her as she did same patting my back.

"Why didn't you tell me you were coming?".

"Why will I do that. If I did so... It won't be a surprise. Besides... I missed your coronation I can't miss this one 😀". She answered dragging my cheeks.

"Alright go on and enjoy your birthday... I don't want people to say I'm stealing you away". She joked and walked off.

I turned to face the maidens, guards and every servant that served in this palace to see them smiling happily.

"Happy Birthday Your Highness... It's Wonderful To Celebrate Your Birthday And To See A Smile On Your Face Once Again. May You Live Long With A Happy, Strong And Peace Full Mind". They all said in union.

It surprised me and I liked it as well. Aria came out of the crowd and shouted.

"LONG LIVE THE KING".

"FOREVER". They all chorused raising their hands up.

"LONG LIVE THE KING". She shouted once more and all chorused...

"FOREVER".

They clapped their hands cheerfully as I kept my stare on Aria to see a smile on her face. She likes the birthday.

Everyone left to their duty post as the guest started coming in and taking their sits. And then tension was evident on Aria's expression. She started running around trying to attend to all the guest. As she put on a genuine smile welcoming them in.

Such a funny girl.

"Happy birthday son".

I shipped my gaze from Aria to see my parents standing opposite me.

"Happy birthday dear". Mother said with a smile.

"I appreciate".

"Do you like the birthday celebration?". Father asked

"Yes". I answered distantly walking to my throne with a fake smile and sat down.

My parents stood in front of me, mother had a smile on but my father had a serious expression plastered on his face.

"Son there are beautiful and responsible women, here on your birthday this is a chance to pick a wife". He said.

The fake smile I had on my face dropped as it turned to a frowned.

"I picking a woman here is only going to lead me to sleeping with one of them and throwing them out the window".

"And then you'll get married to them".

"And my answer I've always remained No".

"Son you'll have to get married soon... Sitting on the throne without a wife is dangerous and risky to you and the entire kingdom". Father raised his voice at me.

"Fuck the women and the entire kingdom... No matter the nonsense you say... My answer remains No".

I raised my voice at him but mine was louder than his... Bringing in the attention of the crowd.

"Learn how to control your anger". Father shouted.

"You can't tell me what to do and who to marry old man".

Father gave me a dirty glare and walked off, mother gave me a last glance and followed my father from bind.

"It's non of your business humans". I said sternly and everyone minded their business once again.

My eyes immediately caught Aria who was staring at me with wide eyes and she quickly turned to leave when she noticed I caught her staring.

Heavens, what's in her mind?

I rested my back once more on the throne sit and watched every one like a boring painting painted in front of me.

My eyes searched round for my Aria but I couldn't sight her yet.

30 minutes later the guest started dropping their gift close to my throne with wonderful speeches and farewells.  I being me appreciated. The important guest left and I did same heading to my bedroom. Staying is no use... for Aria isn't there anymore.

Heading to my room I saw Aria... A smile immediately found its way up to my lips.... But I noticed she was talking to my brother. I moved closer to hear their conversation making myself a bit invisible staying bind the wall.

"Oh my this cookies are so sweet... How many more do you have there?". Kiran asked Aria who had a smile on her cute face.

"Yep... Like 12 more cookies".

"Okay". He answered and morn enjoying the flavour content of the cookies. Silly boy

"Didn't you say I should make this cookies for your brother as a birthday gift from you to him".

"Yeah... ". Kiran answered eating another cookie.

"Then why are you eating them up?".

"Because it's delicious... Besides since you made 24, there isn't a harm eating just 12". He answered. There is a harm idiot.

Quit the eating and give me my own share.

Aria laughed out loud, bent down to kiran's height and collected the remaining cookies from him and placed them in small box.

"Okay go now and give him his gift". She gently said.

Kiran smiled at her, dragged her cheeks and turned on his heels heading towards me. Immediately he sighted me..,

"Brother... Anthony... ".  He called out loud running towards me.

I adjusted myself away from the wall and walked up to him with a normal face.

"Anthony... Do you like the birthday celebration?".

"Yes... ".

"Do you like the way it was hosted?".

"Definitely".

"I told dad you'll like your birthday more within the palace". He said and I smiled at his consideration.

"I appreciate".

"And also I didn't know what to give you for your birthday... I had nothing in this dumb brain of mine... ". He said with a sad expression but continues...

"But Aria here offered to make cookies as a present from me to you yet I ended up eating 12 of it... I promise I'll get you something better".

"Don't bother yourself kiddo".

He gave me the gift with a grin saying...

"Just thank Aria... She's the reason why your birthday was celebrated".

And then he ran off.

Why not!

My eyes shipped to Aria who tried all course not to stare at me in the eyes.

"Is that so?". I asked directly.

"Arh... It's nothing your highness... It's what we Royal Maidens do". She smiled nervously and turned to leave.

"Wait... ".

She stopped and turned to face me, her head bowed low.

"I didn't asked you to leave... Did I?".

A frown of confusion formed on her face and she quickly said.

"I'm sorry...".

I walked towards her as she walked backwards. Unfortunately for her... Her back found the walls... I walked in standing very close to her and we were only 2 inches apart. Just the way I like it.

I sniffed her... And fuck she smells too good... I just want to eat her up.

I bent my head close to her ears as she cringed in nervousness and I whispered...

"I want to be close to you Aria".

"We are already too close your highness". She replied anxiously.

"I don't think you understand what I meant Aria... You know I can do anything just for me to have you by my side".

I whispered once more as I licked the tip of her earlobe and she shivered at the sensation. How sweet. I leaned very close to her and pressed my body against hers and she squeaked at of shock with my sudden action.

Fuck Aria... Take it easy don't drive me crazy.
