Backstory: she grew up at Xavier's school for gifted youngsters. She went to an elementary school before her mutation came in, but started learning at the school for gifted youngsters when she was nine. With the support of her parents she was able to grow and flourish as a young mutant. She left the school when she was twenty three and joined Shield, leaving them a few years later when she got into trouble. She joined the Avengers during the Chitauri's attack and has been with them ever since.
