Anjali pov :-

I don't know why but his past made me cry for him. I clutched his shirt and cried hard, my shoulder pain was long gone. He had his hands around my back holding me near him. We stayed like that in silence until Arjun decided to break it.

"I haven't said this to any one because, I hate people pitty me ".

"I don't pitty you Arjun ". I stated

" I know that, you are the only one person to  my past from me". He said cupping my face. 
I stared into his eyes, those green eyes which are efficient in hiding pain. I nodded and placed my head again on his chest inhaling his muscular scent.

"I haven't visited my mother since our marriage ,  I want to visit her now ". Arjun said to me .

I nodded " I want to come with you ".  I said still my head on his chest.

"you want to come with me? ". Arjun questioned me, I can sense doubt in his voice. So I pulled away from his embrace .

"of course , I want to visit my mother-in-law ". I said looking straight into his eyes. A smile broke on his lips and nodded.

We headed out with hand in hand. As we reached living room. Dhruv and kunal were discussing something but stopped immediately when they saw us. Kunal was shocked to see arjun but Dhruv gave me a smile which I returned. Arjun didn't stop to talk to them he just continued to walk.
As we reached out side I realised its already evening which means we spent whole day in that room. We got into the car and arjun was driving. There were no bodyguards.

The drive was silent. I didn't dare to talk as I don't even know what to say . So I kept quite as Arjun's eyes were  focused on road. It took almost two hours for us to reach grave yard . It was few minutes away from my dads house.

Arjun held my hand as we started walking inside the graveyard. It's too  quite except the rustling of dry leaves ,which makes it scarier. And it's almost eight at night which is not helping me. But I focused my mind on Arjun, ignoring the surrounding holding his hand tightly. Of course I don't want get lost in the graveyard and become dinner for wandering spirit's .

We walked further and further until Arjun stopped in front of a grave which has name scribbled on it as

                 "Shanthi Oberoi "

Arjun knelt down near the grave and I beside him. He ran his hand on name feeling it.

"hi mom, I'm sorry ,I didn't visited you in a while." he said like she is standing infront of him . My heart pained seeing him as I could see his unshed tears in his eyes. He quickly wiped them away before they can spill.

" I want to introduce someone very special ". He said and turned
to wards me. He held my hand ,pulling me little further.
"Anjali my wife and your daughter-in-law . She is just like you mom, kind,caring and innocent . She is my everything and I love her mom ". He said introducing me to his mom.
I didn't know what to say so I remained silent. My heart melted at his choice of words.

"I wish you were here. You would have been very happy to meet her. She is doctor just like dad" . He said tightening his grip on my hand.

"I'm sure she will be seeing us from heaven Arjun. She will be proud seeing your success". I said trying to comfort him.

"I'm sure she is". Was his only reply. He kept staring at the name for few moments then he stood up.

"let's go". He said holding out his hand for me which gladly accepted and stood up .He glanced at the grave one more time.

"I miss you mom. " he said started walking holding my hand.

The drive back was silent but very uncomfortable because I know he is sad after visiting his mother. I wanted him to stop thinking about it so I tried to make conversation.

"uh--Arjun where are the body guards ". And I ended up making a fool of myself asking that question. Of course I know there at home.

"they are at home ". Arjun said without looking at me.

"I know, I mean why didn't you bring them with us. You know after that attack we should be more careful ". I said trying to cover-up my stupid question with valid reason...

"I don't like being surrounded by guards all the time". He said still his eyes on the road.

"but what if someone attack us again? ". I questioned now genuinely worried.

"if someone attack us, I'll take care of it. you don't need to worry ".. By now I know I'm irritating him

"yeah.. I remember.. You fight just fine ".. I stated of course he fight like a fight master but all I have to say just fine..

The car stopped with jerk, which lead me to fall forward but thanks to seat belt I didn't. Then I looked at arjun who was smirking at me..

"I fight just fine? "..it came out more like a question than statement.

"yeah just fine nothing more ". I said trying to sound normal.

" I had to work hard to impress you isn't it? ". He questioned as he smiled.

"yeah, really hard ". I said stressing the word 'really'..for which he only chuckled and started to drive again.

Now the tension in the air was long gone. I was watching the sky full of starts throught the window. I felt car halted I turned toward's Arjun but he was already got down from the car,next moment he was on my side opening my side door and holding out his hand. I frown at his hand but took it anyway.

When I came out I realise that we were near the cliff the same cliff , where I saved that unknown man. I walked further and stood in the same spot as that man layed on that day.

"Anju do you know , why do I call you angel always?". I turned back to see arjun leaning against the car with his hands crossed.

God he looks so hot
My subconscious commented

I shook  my head in no because I really don't know. He started walking to where I am standing.
He came extremely near me and took out something from his pocket and showed it to me. It was pendent chain

"remember this?". He asked as he placed it exactly infront of my eyes, when I looked at it properly  then it hit me. 

It's my pendent chain

"it's mine. But how did you get it? ". I was utterly surprised to see it, I gave it as a fee in the hospital.

  How did he got it?.

"well,  one night I was dying here. Exactly at the same place where you are standing. I thought thats the end of me but a angel came from no where and saved my life. She also took me to the hospital and paid her chain as fee". He completed the story as he placed the pendent around my neck and hooked it.

I was completely taken back by this confession. Never in my dreams I thought it could be him. I didn't even notice similarities. When I realise it, i grinned  at him.

"I can't believe ,it was you". I said as I grinned even wider.

He cupped my face with his hand "you brought me back to this world angel. That's the reason I call you angel, you gave me second birth. I was attracted to you even before the    auction . But I kept it in bay, even thought your beautiful face made it tough to do it." I was just staring at him . My heart swelled with unknown happiness with his confession.

" I always wanted you angel,  I never wanted anything as much as I wanted you. That's the reason I married you, and made you mine forever ".. With that words he kissed me capturing my lips. I clutched his collar for support. He kissed me with such a passion like his life depends up on me. I was lost in thoughts that I didn't notice I was kissing him back. His lips tasted like mint. His one hand travelled from my face to my waist and other hand on back of my head pulling me more into the kiss. He bite my lip making me moan, he took advantage and shoved his to tongue in side my mouth. I didn't protect ,just gave into his kiss gripping his collar more tightly.
His tongue reached all corners of my mouth. I let him invade. We pulled away due lack of oxygen. We both we were panting hard as he connected our forehead. After few moments I came back to my senses then reality hit me hard .

I kissed him back...
