Lucy's P.O.V

Stella and I continued to walk down the hall in a bit of an awkward silence.

It was hard to try and make conversation with her because she would always say short answers as if she was trying to finish the conversation quicker. She was so serious for such a cute women. Stella was thousands of years older then me, but she still seemed really young.

"Stella?" I say

"Yes?" She says plainly

"How old is your human form?" I asked

"Twenty five, why do u ask?" She replies

I stop and stare at her in shock.

"T-t-twenty five?!" I say in shock

"Yes... Why are you so shocked?" She asks

"Because I'm only eighteen and you look way younger than me! Your cute, your shorter, you have beautiful blonde and pink wavy hair, you also have beautiful golden and blueish eyes and you look fifteen!! Why do you look fifteen?!?"I yell a little.

"I don't know. I guess I just age well." She says plainly as we continue to walk.

"Not fare." I sulk.

"Don't worry princess, I may be cute but trust me you are very beautiful, just like your mother." She says with a smile.

"Huh, your smiling." I say excitedly.

"You were the one who said I should smile more." She says plainly.

"And now its gone." I say.

"Were here." Stella says.

I look at the entrance to the dinning room. Two butlers open the door and we walk in side. I see my mother sitting at the end of a long table, with Igneel sitting to her right.

"Oh Lucy, Stella come sit. You both look lovely." Mum calls over to use.

"Thank you Layla." Stella says.

"Yes thank you mum." I say as I sit on her left, Stella sitting next to me.

"Magnus, food please." My mother says kindly to one of the butlers, who shortly after comes out and gives us all a plate of food.

Igneel, Stella and my mum all start eating there food. But I just couldn't. The food smelt and looked delicious but my mind was elsewhere.

"Um mother, I'm sorry to interrupt but I just can't eat until you've explained what I have to do.." I say sheepishly.

Mum stops eating and wipes her face, so does Igneel and Stella.

"Okay I guess I'll have to tell you now." Mum says.

"Okay, I'm listening." I say getting comfortable in my chair.

"For the next three and a half years you are to train with each of the magic users you met today, if needed your training will take longer but it may also be shortened depending on how well you go. You will first train with the Celestial spirits in the Celestial Realm, that will take just over a year. You will then train with the Gods, followed by demons and then dragons."

"Why must I start with training with the Spirits first mum, wouldn't it be easier for me to train with the dragons since they are right here?" I asked curiously

"No, you first have to master your celestial powers before trying any new magic. It isn't too hard, it may have been before but your powers are awakening, and going to the Celestial Realm first is also better because your grandfather can teach you how to control your power just as he taught me."

"And when will I'll be leaving?" I ask.

"In three days. I know it's near and I know we have only just reunited after all these years but it can't be helped. The sooner you can control your powers the better."

"Why is that." I ask a little angry.

"If you don't learn how to control your powers you can die." Stella says nonchalantly.

"Oh.." I say.

"There is one more thing..." mother said, seeming a bit sad.

"Go on.." I reply

"You are engaged to be married.." She says looking away from me.

"What Why?!" I say angrily.

"Because you have to be married in order to rule all these realms." mum says looking at me.

"But why do I have to marry some stranger! Why can't I choose who I want to marry! I don't wont to have to marry because I have too! I want to marry because I love someone! Plus you aren't married, so why do I have to be!?" I say as I stand with my hands on the table, all eyes on me.

"Actually Lucy. Your mother and I were married." Igneel says.

I look at him in surprise "Wait what?" I say

"Yes, we were married for four years, that's how long I had to be married in order to rule on my own." My mother said.

"Hang on he's not my real dad is he?" I ask

"No no no no, he isn't. We were married long before you were borne." Mum says

"Oh okay good." I say "Wait so I only have to be married to someone for four years then I can rule?" I ask

"Yes." She says.

"Okay, but what's the strangers name." I say crossing my arms.

"He's not a stranger." Stella says continuing to eat her food.

"Then who?" I ask my mother.

"Leo.." She says.

"You mean Loke... My spirit..?" I asked

"Yes we do." mum says

"Ok that's just weird." I say sitting back down. "I guess it's better then having to marry someone I don't even know. But it's still hard for me to except, it just feels wrong.." I say quietly but loud enough for everyone to hear.

"Why does it feel wrong Lucy?" Mum asks.

I stay silent and see Igneel staring at my in the corner of my eye, I can also feel Stella's gaze.

"She's in love with someone..." Igneel says.

I look up in shock and I can feel my face getting hotter and hotter.

"Oh, you are.. Who is it?" Mum asks me seeming a bit excited.

"It's no one. Besides I don't know if he likes me the same way." I reply.

"Just say it Lucy." Stella says "Or you'll probably regret it." she continues.

"Ah fine.. Its- its... Natsu. Natsu Dragneel..." I say sinking into my chair.

"OH MY GOD!!!!!" I hear Igneel scream whilst leaning over the table. "Oh trust me Lucy, my son would have to be an idiot if he didn't love you. Ohhh image all the cute grandkids we would have Layla."

"Igneel stop fangirling." Stella says angrily.

"Yes mam." Igneel says as he sits back down.

"Natsu huh.." My mother says.

"Yes..." I say.

"Well.. I guess we can hold off the wedding but you will still have to be engaged to Leo just so it looks like your intentions are to be getting married. Your going to have to act like a couple when you are home. You will also have to share a room, you don't have to sleep in the same bed, you just have to make it look like your together." Mum says

"Okay I guess I can handle that." I reply

"Okay good lets eat." Mum says.

~Time Skip To After Dinner~

After dinner Stella walked me back to my room. We said goodnight at the door. I had a nice long bath before getting ready for bed. after that I sat on my bed just looking at my Celestial Keys. I sighed as I stared at Loke's key. After staring for a while I decided to summon Loke. He appeared and looked at me with a plain expression on his face.

"Hello Princess, what can I do for you." he asked calmly

"Come on Loke. You know why I summoned you."

"Yeah I thought that was it." He said as he sat down next to me.

"So how do you feel about it?" I asked

"Well no offense but I'm a little glade that we don't actually have to get married so soon." he said

"Haha no offense taken." I say

"But I dunno, it just feels a little wrong I guess." He says

"Yea I get what you mean." I say

"Why does it fell wrong to you?" He asked

"Well its because I'm in love with someone." I tell him

"Natsu?" he asked

"How did you know?" I say.

"I've always had a feeling you liked him." He replies.

"What about you then?" I asked

"Same as you." He says.

"Aries, I'm guessing." I say

"Hah, how'd you know." he asked with a smile.

"I guess I've always had a feeling you liked her." I reply back returning his smile.

"ha ha okay." he says.

"So what now?.." I ask

"Well I guess we just wait until tomorrow night at the ball." He says

"Why?" I ask curious.

"Your mother said that I had to propose to you tomorrow night at the ball, so our engagement would go public easier." He said.

"Oh I see." I say.

"It's not my ideal way to propose to a girl but it will have to do." He says.

"And what is your ideal way to ask a girl to marry you?" I ask him.

"Probably under the night sky after a nice walk I guess." He replies.

"Sounds just like you Loke." I say smiling.

"hah yea I guess it does." he says "Anyway I best be heading back, you go to sleep okay and I'll see you tomorrow." he continues.

"Okay, goodnight Loke." I say just before he disappears back to the Celestial world.

I place my keys on my bed side table and slowly get into bed. I stare at the roof of my room for a bit before rolling over to go to sleep.
