Chapter Nineteen: The Celestial Kingdom

Lucy's P.O.V

I entered through the portal and walked into the Celestial Kingdom. It was exactly how I remembered... Beautiful.

When I stepped out of the portal, there was no one around. I huffed and put my hands on my heaps.

"Where is everyone." I pondered to myself, looking around the area for someone familiar.

"We'll I'm here." I heard someone say behind me.

I jumped from the sudden sound of someones voice, and turned around to see who it was.

"Oh thank goodness. It's only you Loki." I said, putting my hand up to my chest and sighing.

"Who else would it be. There are only celestial spirits here Lucy, nothing will harm you." Loki said mockingly.

"Whatever. I just didn't see you so I was just a bit startled thats all." I said, crossing my arms.

Loki just shook his head at me as he walked closer.

"Okay well let's go say a quick hello to everyone then we can get started on your training. We don't have much time so we better hurry." Loki said, walking past me and gesturing me to follow.

"We don't have much time?... Loki I have a good three to five years to master everything, so I'm sure we have plenty of time." I said, jogging to catch up to him.

"You've seemed to have forgotten how time works in the Celestial Kingdom." He answered plainly.

I just stared at him with a bit of confusion plastered on my face when he looked over his sunglasses at me.

"Guess I'm going to have to explain it to you then..." He said sighing. "A day in the Celestial Kingdom is three months in basically every other realm. So really you only have about for days, a week max to finish your training."

"FOUR DAYS?!?!?!" I yelled, with a bead of sweat running down my forehead.

"Or a week depending on how you go." Loki answered.

"Three days doesn't make it all that different Loki! I can't possibly master Celestial Magic in a week or less, I was barley able to summon two spirits at once before I came here!" I said a little panicked.

Loki just chuckled, as he looked at my worried state.

"Lucy calm down. You're so forgetful." He chuckled.

"How am I so forgetful?" I asked.

"Remember, your like fifty times more powerful then you were before because of the magic energy inside you that has finally decided to release itself, that's why your doing all this training to keep your magic power at bay. So I'm sure you're more then capable to summon all thirteen Celestial Spirits now, which reminds me, you've still got to make your contracts with Libra, Pieces and Ophiuchus." Loki said as we were almost to the area where the rest of the Spirits are.

"I still doubt that I'm going to succeed in everything.." I said, pouting.

"well if we feel as though you need more time we'll just go to Earthland and train there." Loki replied.

"Why didn't you say that earlier you ditz..." I said, smacking Loki softly on the back of his head.

"Haha sorry I kinda forgot about it." He answered.

"And your calling me forgetful..." I whispered to myself.

we walked in a comfortable silence the rest of the way to where the other spirits were waiting. As we got nearer I felt Loki hold onto my left hand with his right, putting his fingers between mine.

"What do you think your doing?" I said, looking from our hands to his face.

"Well we are engaged, plus no one else knows about the marriage being postponed apart from your grandfather. so..." Loki said.

"So we still have to put on an act." I finished for him.

"Exactly." He replied.

"Alright then, sounds fair..." I say, getting slightly closer to him as we walk into view of everyone else.

We walked up a few steps to a large stage like area, with tables and benches everywhere.

"Oh Lucy my dear welcome." My Grandfather said as he approached us to hug me.

He was currently in his human form, he was tall and had white hair and his large funny moustache. I let go of Loki's hand so I would be able to hug him.

"It's good to see you Grandfather." I said, hugging him.

"You to my dear. Now lets say a quick hello to everyone so we are able to get you settled and started on your training, hmm?" My grandfather said, holding onto my shoulders and looking down at me with a smile.

I nodded yes.

~Time Skip~

(cos I'm to lazy to write hello's)

I'm currently sitting at a round table with Libra, Pieces and Ophiuchus. I was finally finishing my last contract with Ophiuchus when My Grandfather and pretend fiancé come over and stood behind me.

"There we go all done Ophiuchus." I smiled as I put the key back on my keychain.

Ophiuchus just bowed her head as a reply and then got up and left with Libra and Pieces.

"We all finished?" My Grandfather asked.

"Yep." I replied, standing to face the two men behind me.

"Come on then I'll show you where you'll be staying." Said Grandfather.

Loki grabbed hold of my hand again, with me smiling in return, as we followed closely behind my grandfather. We walked for about five minutes before we made it to a nice little cottage.

"This is where you will be staying Lucy. This is Loki's home and seeing as you two are engaged, it's only natural for you to stay together." Grandfather announced with the oddest tone as if he was putting on a show to convince everyone that our engagement was real.

I giggled. "Yes of course grandfather."

He winked at Loki and I, and we both just smiled. We made our way into Loki's cottage, and as I described it earlier, it was small. All that was in it was a small kitchen on the right that was attached to the lounge room with a fireplace, which was funnily enough also attached to the bedroom. There was a door on the back wall where the makeshift bedroom was, which I only assumed to be the bathroom. I seriously hope there is a bath in there. There was also a couch, a small round table with two chairs in the kitchen and a wardrobe. Thats basically all the little home had to offer. I'm not complaining at all, I actually really like it and it's also kind of surprising that Loki lives in something like this. Oh also there is one to many posters of female wizards in bikinis from Wizard Weekly around his makeshift room. I can even see one of me.

I glared at Loki as I spotted his posters. Making him became a bit nervous and scared.

"I think I should just take those down..." He said rushing off to where the posters hang.

"So..." I siad to my grandfather. "Whats the plan?"

"Well we have decided that you will be staying here for two days and two nights. In that time you will be learning how to control your powers so you don't get to overwhelmed, you will also be learning how to hide your magical energy level, so it is less likely for you to be attacked and that way, if in battle, you can surprise your aponaint." He told me with a cheeky smile.

"Okay, but what about mastering my Celestial Magic?" I asked.

By then Loki came back over, already finished with hiding the magazine posters somewhere.

"We'll be going to Earthland. You'll be able to master you Celestial Magic just as well there as you would here." Loki said.

"Okay sounds fair. But how long will we be there for? And what about Fairy Tail and the other Guilds? I'm sure if word spreads that I'm back in Earthland, a certain someone will be looking for me strait away, or even the whole guild." I asked, seeming a little worried.

As much as I love Fairy Tail, I don't think I should see anyone yet until I finish my training. Especially Natsu. I told him how I really felt, it'll be awkward if he doesn't love me back, regardless if he heard me or not, I'd still know what I said and it would just be awkward for me.

"I wouldn't worry about it to much Lucy. We won't be near any of the guilds, we'll be in a little cottage like this near a forest and open plains. Yes there may be the occasional journey to a town for food and other supplies, but I doubt anyone would know you. Plus if we find out someone is looking for you, we can always just return here for a day and then go back." Loki answered.

I just nodded as a reply.

"And you'll most likely be there for three to six months, which is about average to master Celestial Magic." My Grandfather said.

"Right... So! When do I begin?" I asked both Loki and my Grandfather.

"Right now." Grandfather said smiling.

"I'm all fired up!!" I yelled.
