Normal P.O.V

Lucy Heartfilia sat on her mother's lap in the garden just outside their mansion. Lucy was reading a picture book about wizards and guilds. She studied the pictures and read the words well, especially for a four-year-old. When Lucy was done reading the picture book. she closed it and gave it to Layla her mother, who sat it next to her on the bench they were sitting on.

"Mama, what type of Wizard are you?" Lucy asked as she looked up at her mother with curious eyes.

"Well Lucy, I am a Celestial Wizard," Layla replied as she looked down at her daughter

"What's a Celestial Wizard do?" Lucy asked puzzled.

"We summon Spirits with these keys," Layla says as she shows Lucy two golden and one silver key.

"What do the Spirits look like mummy?" Lucy asked

"Well, I'll show you." She says as she picks Lucy up and walked over to the fountain they were sitting in front of, Layla placed Lucy down and held up one of the golden keys in her hand.

"I summon gate of the water bearer, Aquarius!" Layla chanted as she placed the key into the water of the fountain, creating a golden magic circle in the water. From the magic circle came out a beautiful mermaid with nice blue hair and a scaly blue tail.

"Layla, why would you summon me in some stupid old fountain!?" The mermaid shouted angrily at Layla

"Calm down Aquarius, I just wanted my daughter Lucy to meet you," Layla said as she grabbed Lucy who was hiding behind her legs and put her in front of her.

"Lucy this is Aquarius, she is one of my Spirits. Now be polite and say hello." Layla said as she pushed Lucy closer to the fountain.

"Um h-hello there m-my name is Lucy H-Heartfilia, it's n-nice to meet y-you Aquarius," Lucy says as she looks up at Aquarius.

"Ahh nice to meet you too kid," Aquarius says quickly.

"I like y-your tail," Lucy comments as she points to Aquarius' tail.

"Um Thank you." She replies

"See Lucy she's not so scary once you get to know her," Layla says to her daughter with a smile.

"Can I go now Layla, I have a date with my Boyyyyyyyfriend," Aquarius says mockingly to Layla.

"Ha! Still just a boyfriend. Don't forget, I am married now Aquarius so you can't tease me anymore." Layla says.

"Whatever; can I just go now?" Aquarius replies

"Go ahead," Layla says as she holds up Aquarius' key.

Aquarius disappears into her key leaving behind a trace of golden sparkles. Layla put the key back on the keychain she had and placed it in her pocket.

"That was amazing mummy! What kind of Wizard do you think I am?" Lucy says with excitement in her voice.

"You could be whatever kind of Wizard you want to be Lucy because you have so much magic energy running through your veins, more than any other powerful Wizards I have met and I have met a lot of Wizards. The sky's the limit for you Lucy. You may not be able to unleash or control your amazing powers yet but I know one day you will be able to." Layla said as she knelt down in front of her daughter with a big smile on her face.

"Really mama? do I really have a lot of power?" Lucy says as she walks up to her mother.

"Yes Lucy, you do have so mu-" Layla was cut off as her vision became blurry and she collapsed on the floor.

Lucy got scared. She went over to her mother and shook her, calling for her over and over.

"Mama, are you ok.

Mama, tell me what's wrong.

Mama!

Mummy, please wake up!

Wake up!

Someone, please help!

Father help quickly mummy has collapsed!!

HELP!!!"

Lucy's P.O.V

I woke up breathing heavily, covered in sweat. I rubbed my eyes and looked out the window of my apartment.

"Oh it was a dream... well more like a memory I guess," I say to myself as I get out of bed because it is already morning.

I walk into the bathroom and have a nice long bath. After that, I wrapped myself in a towel and went to my closet to find a change of clothes. I took off my towel and put on some socks and underwear. I then grabbed a pink top with white hems and a white stripe that went across my chest and grabbed a blue skirt. I finished getting dressed I brushed my hair, leaving it down, and grabbing my Celestial Keys I made my way to the guild. As I was walking through town I spotted Lisanna looking at one of the shop's windows. I smiled and walked up to her.

"Good morning Lisanna, are you on your way back to the guild?" I asked as I approached her.

"Oh good morning Lucy, and yes, I was on my way back, are you on your way there now?" Lisanna said as she turned around to face me.

"Um yes, I am," I reply

"Sweet! Do you wanna walk together?" She asked with a smile on her face.

"Sure!" I say returning the smile.

We walk to the guild in silence for a bit until Lisanna said something.

"So, did you hear the guild is going to be throwing a party for the anniversary of my return?"

"Oh really, that should be pretty good," I say.

"Are you kidding me?! It's Fairy Tail since when have their parties never ended in disaster." Lisanna says in a worrying tone.

"Ha ha! I guess you're right, but don't worry, they are usually fun, well on the first day at least" I say with a sweat drop.

"Haha, that is true. Oh, we're here, that was fast." Lisanna says as we approach the guild's doors.

Lisanna and I walk into the guild and practically everyone was there. Natsu and Gray were fighting; Erza was eating a strawberry cake; Levy was sitting at a table reading a book with Gajeel; Carna was already drinking; Happy and Carla were talking and Mira was behind the bar washing glasses. As soon as Lisanna and I entered, Natsu stopped fighting Grey and called Lisanna over.

"Oh, Natsu's calling for me, you coming Lucy?" Lisanna asked as she was about to head over to Team Natsu.

"Nah you go over you and catch up. I'm just going to go over to the bar." I say as I start walking towards Mira at the bar.

"Morning Mira," I say as I sit on a bar stool

"Morning Lucy what can I get you?" Mira says with a sweet smile

"The usual," I say

"One strawberry milkshake coming right up." She says as she goes to make my milkshake.

I sigh and look over at Team Natsu, who seem to be enjoying themselves and chatting away with Lisanna.

'Was I just a replacement for Lisanna? Because it's starting to feel like it.' I think to myself as I watch Natsu put his arm around Lisanna

*Bump bump*

'Huh what's going on'

*Bump bump*

'Why is my heart beating so fast?'

*Bump bump*

'Am I, am I jealous' I thought to myself

"Here's your milkshake Lucy," Mira says as she hands me my milkshake.

"Oh, uh, thanks, Mira," I say as I grab the milkshake and drink it

'What's with that weird feeling? why do I feel so jealous?'

I know it might be a little short, but I had to finish it because it's Mother's Day and I wanted to make my mum breakfast.
