The elevator opens, as Barry and I walk out of it, Barry fixing his blazer, "We usually take these guys done one at a time, not one hundred at a time." He fixes his watch. I was dressed in a red shirt, that was tucked into a black skin tight skirt, a white belt around the skirt, my feet wearing white heels to go with the outfit, deciding to switch up the color due to most of my shoes being black, my hair straight as usual.

My heels clicked on the ground, "And you somehow- aren't tired? Or overwhelmed?"

"I know we can do it." He says with a smile on his face, as we walked down the hall, Cisco running up to us.

"Guys-" He stops us, "You have to come see this." He turns and runs the way he came from.

Barry and I follow him, as Barry calls out, "Cisco- wha-"

We walk into the cortex, to see Caitlin sitting in the middle of the room, Henry doing some check ups on her, "Caitlin?" Barry calls out, just as confused as I was.

"She's in shock. A little dehydrated and malnourished, but I think she'll be fine." Henry steps away from her.

"I'm okay." Caitlin tells us.

"How- How did you get here?" I asked her, stepping closer to her.

"Jay- he- he let me go." Caitlin told me, her voice cracking as if she was on the verge of crying, Barry crouching in front of her, "He told me you were dead."

"I'm not- I'm right here." Barry says. "We're all here, together."

"Snow." Harry says, "Jay's not here. You're safe."

"He's gonna overrun the city, you cant stop him." Caitlin cries quietly.

"Yes we can. Listen to me, he's not going to succeed. We've got this, this is our Earth."

"You don't know that. You don't know what he is capable of." Caitlin says.

"I know from being in the Speed Force that the universe is with us, not Zoom. And if the universe is with us, how can we possibly lose? Right, guys?" Barry looks back at us for support.

"Yeah- yeah right." Jesse says quickly, due to everyone's silence.

"You've been through a lot. You should get some rest, come on." Barry helps her up before leading her into another room, Caitlin asking him questions where Barry answered.

A sigh leaves my lips, as I put a strand of my hair behind my ear, as we all crowded around the computers.

"Okay. I'm gonna say it." Cisco speaks up, "Um, we don't think he's being just a little too-"

"Overconfident?" Iris finishes, "Yeah, maybe it was his time in the Speed Force. I mean, he's acting like he's invincible now or something."

"Yeah, like nothing fazes him anymore, which isn't-" Henry begins.

"Realistic, no." Harry finishes for him, "Somebody needs to talk to him before letting his guard down gets him hurt or worse."

"He did bring me out of my coma." Jesse reasoned, "That's bound to make someone a little overly chipper."

"Well, like I said, somebody needs to talk to him." Harry says.

Once everyone goes silent, everyone's eyes land on me, as I look at them, "What?"

"Someone needs to talk to him." Iris exclaimed, his head nodding towards me, putting out what everyone was thinking.

"Oh, you want me-" I point at myself, "Why do I have to talk to him?"

"Maybe because he's your boyfriend?" Cisco suggests, giving me a look.

"I don't want to be the one to crush his dreams of beating Zoom." I pout lightly, my arms crossed.

"He's more likely to listen to you, than to any of us, Zee." Jesse tells me.

"He'd listen to his father." I try to reason, not wanting to be the one to hurt Barry or destroy his confidence. "Maybe, Henry should do it."

"How about this, I'll try first, and if whatever I say doesn't work, you can try." Henry suggests.

"Fine." I give in.

-

"Hey there-" I trail off, walking over to Barry as he was heading down the hall, catching up to him, as he slowed down his pace, "-honey."

"Honey?" He questioned, "What do you want?"

My mouth dropped in fake shock, pretending to be offended, "Just because I called you honey, doesn't mean I want something."

"You don't usually call me pet names, honey." Barry leans down and pecks my lips, as we both come to stop.

"Well, maybe- something in me changed." I shrug lightly, looking up at him, "Like it did you."

"What are you trying to say?" Barry asks me, his eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

"I'm saying that someone's been a little too optimistic, lately." I lightly nudge him playfully, getting at that he was the one who was being too overconfident and optimistic, trying to avoid saying that he was being too unrealistic.

"There's nothing wrong with being optimistic, right?" Barry lets out a small laugh.

"You're right- you are- there isn't anything wrong with that but." I found it difficult to put this into context in the best way possible, "I just think, letting your guard down- would end up with you getting hurt. And none of us want that."

"I won't get hurt-" Barry starts to say, but I cut him off.

"Don't-" I blurt out, "Don't say that. Listen, Barry, I'm all for this enormous amount of hope and confidence you have- but- letting your guard down isn't the best option. Especially- with Zoom and his meta's here. No matter how many meta's you take down- it doesn't mean you're invincible."

"Zee, honey." He grabs my hands, "I appreciate you caring for me- I really do." He pulls me into him, wrapping my arms around him, then wrapping his own arms around me, as my head tilted up slightly, looking at him, "But we're all going to be fine. I'm going to be fine. I'm going to win. We're going to defeat all these meta's. We're going to defeat Zoom. Okay? We will win."

I let out a sigh in defeat, knowing that there was no way, even I could convince him out of this one, "Okay."

"I love you." He pecks my lips.

I give him my best smile, even if it was only a small one, "I love you too."

-

"What is this exactly?" I ask Cisco as we all stood in the breach room.

"It's just a small source of joy, t more importantly, it's how we're gonna stop Zoom's army." Cisco says with a grin on his face.

"By giving them all electroshock therapy?" Joe guessed.

"By giving them all dimensional shock therapy." Cisco corrected him.

"There is where I play stupid and you explain the science." Joe says, as I let out a laugh in agreement, as Barry wraps an arm around my shoulders, as I leant into him.

"Okay, fair enough. So all matter vibrates at its own unique frequency, right? You disrupt that frequency, you disrupt the matter." Cisco says.

"Like how an opera singer shatters glass with her voice." Iris says.

"Exactly. So we found out that all Earth Two propel vibrate at their own, more erratic frequency." Cisco explained.

"Higher frequency." Harry corrected.

"Different frequency." Cisco says.

"Higher." Harry corrected once more.

"Higher frequency than we do." Cisco exclaims.

Joe nods, "Right."

"So I ran this all past Hartley, right? And he postulated that we could create a sort of dimensional tuning fork-" He walks over to what he had created, "Voila-"

"Okay, you didn't do it yourself." Harry says.

Cisco puts his hands up in surrender, "Just let me have his one, okay?"

"Have it. Have it." Harry says.

"Thank you, so, if you run around the city fast enough to create a refracting field, the device can send out a pulse that'll bounce off of it, split apart, be collide with itself, over and over." Cisco explains.

"Amplifying it to an erratic frequency on Earth Two-" Barry begins to say.

"Higher." Harry corrected him.

"-Higher frequency on the Earth Two spectrum." Barry finishes after correcting himself due to Harry's repeated corrections.

"And when that pulse hits anyone from Earth Two-" Cisco passes it on to Caitlin.

"It'll disrupt their nervous system." Caitlin says.

"Earth Two meta's go night night." Cisco exclaims.

"Even Zoom?" I ask, my cheek nuzzling into Barry soft sweater, as my hand goes to his back, him pulling me closer.

"Even Zoom." Cisco confirmed.

"Harry and Jesse are from Earth Two." Joe spoke up, "How do we keep the pulse from hurting them?"

Harry grinned, "Oh, Detective, I didn't know you cared."

"Yes you did." Joe says, as I let out a small laugh.

"We designed these headphones to protect us from the pulse." Harry put the headphones on.

"Beats by Wells." Cisco states, causing me to let out another laugh, that getting a laugh from Joe also.

There was an alert coming from the computer, as Caitlin spoke up, "Cisco, it's your meta-human alert app."

"That's the high rise development on the west side." Joe said.

I slip away from Barry, "Hundreds of people live there."

"Ramon, we're up, let's go." Harry jumps up the steps, "Set that pulse off right now. Allen, you need to start generating that refracting field right now."

"But Black Siren can take down this building at any point." Barry tried to protest, "All those people, Wells."

"How many more people are gonna die while we wait?" Harry asked him.

"Guys, which is it?" Joe asked.

"I think I just got the worst idea of all time." Cisco says.

-

Cisco's idea was for him to go in as Reverb, and Caitlin to go in as Killer Frost, and stall Black Siren long enough for the entire plan to be in motion. I couldn't blame him, because it wasn't the worst idea, but it wasn't exactly the best. I didn't even try to protest on going in as Reign to make sure they didn't get hurt, because I knew even with this optimistic Barry around, my idea would be shut down, due to Barry's overprotection over me.

"All right-" Barry says, walking into the breach room with his suit on.

"We're synced up with whatever the heck that thing is." Harry jokes lightly as he continued to work on what was in front of him.

"Finally, something we're both baffled by." Joe says as he watches in confusion, not understanding much of the science stuff, just as I did.

"I'm kidding. That, my friend, is a 75KTSB 40,000-watt reverberating sound amplifier designed to single out the operating frequency of every single Earth-2 being on this planet which, went contained and magnified by The Flash creating a sound pressure wall around the city, will render all of us Earth-2 beings unconscious. Hence. the safety precautions." Harry explained.

"That was too much science for me to process." I admit, staring at whatever Harry was doing, just as confused as any of us non science geeks were, as Barry lets out a small laugh, kissing my head.

"I'm baffled by it." Henry also admits.

"Are we ready?" Barry asked.

"Yes we are." Harry says, as he and Jesse put on their headphones, and with that, Barry was off.

"Here we go." Harry says, as we watched the screen, Barry running around the entire city.

"We're a go." Iris says as the computer starts beeping.

As the plan was in motion, Jesse calls out her dad, "Dad? Dad- it hurts." She holds onto her headphones, pain visible in her eyes as she starts to crouch, tears in her eyes, as she lets out cries and whimpers of pain.

Harry rushes up to his daughter, taking off her headphones before ripping off his own, replacing them with his, as she starts to protest, him shaking his head telling her it was okay, holding the headphones on her ears, as my hand goes to my mouth, my heart aching for the two of them, this showing more than ever that there was truly nothing that Harry wouldn't do for his daughter.

Within seconds, Harry falls back, completely unconscious, as Jesse lets out a gasp, "Turn it off- turn it off- it worked!"

She crouches, hovering over her father as tears fell from her eyes, small sobs coming from her as I was quick to walk over and crouch next to her, rubbing her back, as Henry came and reassured her that it would be fine, and he was only unconscious.

Soon enough, Barry was cleaning all the meta's off the street, locking them away.

-

We were at the West Household, everyone joined together, having a nice victory dinner. Everyone was calm and peaceful, there were no problems, no interferences.

A smile was on my face, as my eyes glanced around the room, seeing everyone have their own conversations with each other, trading laughs.

I felt two arms wrap around me from behind, as my head slightly turns, to be greeted by Barry Allen, as he smiled down at me, "What're you doing here, all alone?"

I rest my hands on his, "Nothing- I just. Everyone's happy. We haven't had that in a while. It's a good feeling."

"Well- you should come and enjoy the feeling with us." Barry slipped away, and grabbed my hand, before pulling me over to the group.

Barry hands me a glass of champagne, as everyone was making a toast.

"A toast- to family." Joe says.

"To family." We all say unison, before sipping out champagne.

"That's my kind of toast, short and sweet, lets eat." Cisco says, earning a laugh from most of us.

I set my glass down once I notice Cisco looking like he had just saw a ghost, probably just witnessing a vibe.

"Cisco- you okay?" I ask him,

"Cisco? What is it? What'd you see?" Barry asks him, setting down his glass also.

"What do you mean, "see"?" Asked Wally, being the only one left in the dark.

"Cisco gets visions." Caitlin answered short and simple.

"I don't understand." Cisco sighs.

"What Cisco?" Joe asked.

"Earth Two splitting in half. Straight down to the poles." Cisco told us what he saw, "Tell me I didn't just vibe the future. Please tell me I did not just see the end of the world!"

As if on cue, Zoom unexpectedly shows up, his arm around Henry's neck, holding him, staring at Barry dead in the eye, "Our story continues, Flash."

With that, he runs out with Henry, as Barry runs right after him, disappearing from next to me.

"Oh no-" I gasp, as Dr. McGee calls out Henry's name.

"Oh my god-" Iris says right after us, as Wally looks at where Barry once stood, as if he had just seen a ghost.

[ barry's pov ]

I walk into where I once lived before everything happened that one night, calling out for my father, "Dad?"

I walk into the living room, to see Jay, holding my dad by his neck still, speaking up, "It's poetic, returning to your childhood home."

"Jay. Don't do this. I'm begging you. I'm begging you! Take me. Kill me!" I begged, not wanting to bare the thought of losing my father too.

"No!" My father protested.

"You still won't believe me that you and I are the same." Jay states.

"Come on-" I try, at the point where I would start begging on my knees.

"Barry- look at me, son." My father called out, trying to block out Jay.

Jay spoke up, "So I'm going to have to make you believe me."

"Whatever happens you have made me the happiest father-" My dad trailed off.

"Dad-" I start, but he continues, "Marry her, son. Make sure- you marry her."

My eyes filled with tears, knowing that this was the exact moment I was going to lose my father. No matter what I did, no matter how much I begged him to stop and let my father go, to take me instead, he was going to kill my father anyway. And my father still found a way to talk about my future, and my happiness, knowing this could be his last words.

"This time, you're gonna watch your parent die just like I did." Jay spat at me.

"No- no!" I shout, feeling absolutely useless, as if I was talking to a brick wall.

"This is what's gonna make you- just like me." Jay shouts.

"Jay!" I shouted loudly, but it was no use.

"You're mother and I love-" My father's words are cut off right as Jay's hand goes through his chest, his entire body going limp, a scream of denial leaving my mouth, as I watch my father's body fall onto the ground, as I fell to my knees, tears streaming down my face, trying to wake my father up, but it was no use. He was gone.

Jay had just killed my father.
