"I can't believe I agreed to this." I speak out loud, as I walked with Iris, into where her brother Wally did what he couldn't let go of, dressed in something I would have only wore in high school. Drag racing.

Iris smiles at me innocently, putting a strand of her purple hair behind her ear. I was dressed in a pair of fishnet legs, which were under a pair of light ripped jeans, a bralette under the crop top that had many- many rips in it, and to finish it off, Iris had added a red hair extension in my hair.

My lips smooth out the red lipstick that what covering my lips, as we walked up to Wally, our heels clicking on the ground.

Wally turns from the conversation he was having, his eyes widening when they land on the two of us. "What the hell are you two doing here?"

"Well that's no way to treat your sister and her friend. I mean- we went through all this trouble, so we can support you in your little- hobby." I say, looking around, crossing my arms.

A light glare plasters on his face as Iris speaks, "I thought it would make an interesting article. Plus, I thought this might be a fun way to get to know each other, don't you think, bro?" Her hand curls up into a fist as she lightly pushes him back with it playfully, once it comes into contact with his shoulder.

"You have got to me kidding me." Wally says, huffing, before he turns and walks away from us.

"He doesn't seem too happy to see us." I look at Iris, as she gives me the same look I was already looking at her with, "Did you really think he would be?"

I shrug, "Sometimes it helps to be optimistic."

"Last race of the night people. Our reigning champ Tail Lights-" a man trails out, as I could already tell he was the one who ran this place.

"Awh." Wally looks at the expressions on both Iris and I's faces, then opens the door of his car, "No good luck?"

I roll my eyes, as Iris and I step to the side, as Wally gets in his car, as I see Iris snap a few pictures of the place, probably because of the article she was writing.

I watch as the car Wally was in, and his opponent's were off, racing, giving me a feeling of unease, even if he wasn't even my brother.

I walk into Barry's bedroom, seeing him tie the drawstrings of the joggers he had just put on. His eyes land on me, his gaze sticking to me, "What're you wearing-"

"Something I would've worn in high school." I say, walking over to him, resting my hands on his bare arms, rubbing my lips together.

"Where were you tonight?" He asks me, as he slowly eyes my entire appearance.

"I was uhm." I start, but my lips press together, a hum leaving my lips, not knowing how to explain this to him without him being worried or upset.

"You were-?" He presses, as I open my mouth again, "I was- actually I was- hm." I shut up, my eyebrows furrowing, meeting a blank with my thoughts.

His eyes squint, clearly confused on what I was trying to explain. I finally put the words together and speak, "Iris and I- decided to go to where Wally drag raced, we clearly dressed for the occasion- to fit in- for an article. If anything- I wasn't going to let her go alone. If there was a chance she could've gotten hurt, it's better if the both of us are there then just her. Only one of us between the two of us is a meta."

"A meta that isn't fully trained enough to be out on the field yet." Barry puts his hand under my chin, tilting my face up so I'm looking at him directly, "I've always admired how much you care about your loved ones, but next time, let me know before you go, okay?"

A smile takes over my lips, as I say quietly, "I will."

He smiles lightly, pressing a quick kiss to my lips, before pulling away, my eyes landing on his lips, a small sound of laughter leaving my own. "What?" He asks.

"Red is- a great color on you." I giggle quietly, kissing his cheek, leaving another red lipstick stain on him.

"I'm pretty sure we already established that- but I can say the same for you." He speaks, as I smile, stepping away from him, walking into the bathroom, removing all my make up. I change from I was wearing into a pair of shorts and one of his shirts, walking back into his bedroom.

I lay back on his bed, as Barry does the same, wrapping his arm around me. "You know- you practically live here."

"Mhm-" I hum, "I spend so much time here, I wonder why I still pay rent to my apartment." I yawn, nuzzling my face into his chest.

A small laugh leaves his mouth, as he plays with my hair, until I could find myself falling asleep.

The next morning, I heard a bubble of laughter come from Barry, as I heard him talking to Cisco in the cortex, while I walked down the hall. Cisco was telling him about some meta human app that he has just created.

I walk into the cortex, seeing that Harry was also in there. My heels clicked on the ground, as I walked over to Cisco and Barry. I was dressed in, for once, a dress. The dress was olive green, and sleeveless. It was slim and stuck to my body like a glove, this dress was one of the many dresses Iris had begged me to buy due to how I looked in it. I wore one of Barry's jean jackets, my hair straightened, black heels covering my feet.

Cisco's chit chatter stopped when his eyes land on me, as does Barry. Barry was the first one to speak, a smile overtaking his lips, "Are you having a bad day? 'Cause I think I see you in a dress."

I could sense the teasing in his voice, as Cisco follows up, "And heels. Must be the worst day of her life."

A small laugh leaves my mouth as I shook my head, "Just felt like looking like an adult today."

"Nice one with the heels-" Cisco holds his hand up for a high five as I give him that satisfaction, a laugh leaving my mouth, looking around seeing that Harry had left the room.

Barry grabs my hands, my attention snapping back towards him, "Well, you look very pretty today."

A smile touches both of our lips, as I leant up, kissing him lightly as he kissed back.

I pull away as Barry speaks, "Ill be back, okay?" I nod as he presses a kiss to my cheek before leaving the cortex, leaving Cisco and I in there.

Cisco started to talk about his new app, as I stood there and listened to every word.
