The scenes of a pleasant dream, danced on the back of my closed eye lids. I nuzzled my face into something soft, as a small smiled formed on my lips. That's until the blinding sunlight, shined it's way into the room, and burned my eyelids, waking me.

My eyes slowly fluttered open, as my sight is blurry at first, considering the sunlight flashing right at my eyes, but I soon looked down, finally acknowledging that I was wrapped in someone's arms. I blink twice, my eyes eyeing everything around me before they land on a smiling Barry, looking down at me.

"Good Morning." He greets me as he bit his lip lightly, still smiling at me. I could feel the pad of his thumb slowly draw circles on my right forearm.

"Good Morning?" I replied, not understanding why he was still here, matter of fact why were we on my couch?

"We fell asleep while talking." He answered my thoughts as everything immediately came rushing back, as I finally took in and remember was happened last night.

My heart fluttered at the thought of him staying the night, us basically cuddling the whole night.

I grabbed my phone from the coffee stand, as I looked at if it was dead or not, trying to check what time it was.

"Aw man, it's dead." I frown, as I sit up from Barry's grasp. He sits up also, eyeing my phone having a smirk on his pretty dork ass face.

"Let's get dressed, I'm pretty sure you have to go get to Jitters." Barry said, as I nodded. I got up walking to the bathroom to do my business. I brushed my teeth, washed my face and dried it before walking out to see Barry sat up on the couch, just in his plain white t-shirt and his blue skinny jeans. I looked down to see my phone was on and 100%.

"Wait how the hell?" I burst in surprise, as I run towards my phone and grab it.

"That's not possible. It was dead." I stated in amusement.

"I guess you just didn't try to turn it on." Barry says shrugging, a smirk playing at his lips.

"Okay," I say glaring at him slowly, in suspicion.

I set my phone down before walking to the kitchen, opening the fridge. I grab out a box of frozen made pancakes, a box of frozen made waffles, maple syrup, and jar of Nutella. I placed them on the counter before turning and asking Barry, "Pancakes or Waffles for breakfast?"

"Wait, what the hell do you think you're doing?" Barry laughs, making his way to the kitchen.

"Uh," I trailed off before I give him a strange look and continue questionably, "Making breakfast for the both of us, because I'm a bomb ass best friend?"

"You know you can't cook for shit." He laughs as he sits on the stool at the kitchen island.

I raise my eyebrow as I picked up the two boxes and look at him. "Yeah I know, that's why there's this." I say shaking the boxes.

"Pancakes." He answers, as I nod, moving to the fridge and putting the waffles back. "For all that matters, I have been learning how to cook and let me tell you, I've gotten pretty good since the last time, Barry."

"Oh yeah, when you lit the whole stove on fire while cooking eggs cause the bagels were burning?" He remarks. I give him a look, "Oh and you can do better?"

"I personally think I can cook way better after that incident." He says raising his brows.

"Is that a challenge?" I say putting the pancakes in the toaster. "Yes, I think it is, Ms. Young."

"Oh you're on, Mr. Allen." That's was all that was said before he ran around the island and we started to have a best frozen pancakes made off. Weird name, I know but it was absolutely fun.

We start to create our masterpieces, doing whatever we can to make it better than each other's.

"And," I trail as I look at the timer on my phone. We grab out utensils before sliding next to each other on the island, glaring at each other in competition.

"Time!" We both shout as the timer buzzed. I dismissed it before giggling. "I, sooo won this."

"That's where you're wrong, love." He says, calling me pet names. My weakness, damn it.

"We'll have to eat and see, cause I'm starving." I say as he nods in agreement.

I take a bite out of his as he takes a bite out of mine.

"Damn, this is weirdly good." I mumble in a full mouth.

"I was wrong. You've gotten way better." He says swallowing.

"What was that?" I say in victory. "I told you!" I shout as I run throughout the apartment in pride.

"Just come! It'll be fun!" Iris's voice says through the speaker, trying to persuade me.

"A celebration by going to the club and getting drunk out of our minds after a small house party, where we get tipsy with wine? That just sounds like a excuse to get drunk." I say as I huffed.

"Come on! It'll be so much fun I promise! Barry will be there," She trailed as in hopes of to convince me more by using Barry as an advantage. I let out a giggle before replying, "Well I'm pretty sure he's the star of the show."

"Yes! Please Zee!" She shouts into the speaker. I huffed, "Fine then. But only if you send Barry with some good pizza the next day to cure my hangover."

"Oh yeah! You got it. Be over in about a hour. Dress hot!" And with that, she hangs up.

I didn't do much to get ready. I grabbed my hair straightener, quickly straightening my wavy hair. I unplugged the straightener before bolting to my bedroom and opening my closet. I grabbed out a fitting navy blue dress. I grabbed out a plain black flannel, and a pair of heels. The little perks of knowing Iris West. You end up have 1/3 of a closet where you barely wear.

I shimmied into the dress, and slipped on the flannel while doing so. I forcefully put on both heels and stood up.

I silently mutter a cuss word before walking over to my dresser and lightly doing my make up. I wasn't one for going all cakey, so I stuck with just some lip gloss and mascara.

With that, I left to the West Household.

I walk up to the door, I push away my thoughts before lightly hitting my fist at the wooden door, looking down. The door swung open to see Iris, holding a wine glass.

"Zee- hey. Come in." She says before dragging me inside to where everybody stood. Mostly everyone I know, a face of two I didn't recognize.

A wine glass was pushed into my hand, right as I stepped in.

I make conversation with everyone, sipping my wine every now and then, and ended up finishing it sooner than I usually would have. I soon slip away from everyone and walk into the hall, leaning back against the wall, trying to keep the wine down, and the funny feeling in my stomach gone.

"Hey." Someone greeted me from my side as I slowly turn my head and look at the person, my eyes landing on Barry.

"Oh- uh hi." I say quietly, lightly clearing my throat so my voice wasn't too quiet.

"Having a hard time keeping that wine down?" He lightly jokes, leaning against the wall next to me, looking at me, a boyish smile on his face.

"Something like that." We were interrupted when a drunk Iris West stumbled into the hall.

"We're going to the club!" She drunkenly says before pulling us down the stairs and pushing us into her car.

"Aw no I'm driving," Barry says, as he was being pushed into the passenger seat. I literally blinked and Iris was in the back with me and Barry had started the car and was on the road. That was fast. I literally blinked. How was he so quick?

I shook it off as we made our way to the club.

Iris was absolutely wasted. I guess she needed to get a lot off her mind tonight, and she seemed to be having the time of her life. I had only a drink or two, and I was trying my best to keep her in good shape, but it's kinda difficult when she's holding onto me for dear life, swaying to music and won't let go of her drink.

While I was occupied with Iris, Cisco and Barry were making conversation, while Caitlin was enjoying the sight of Iris and I.

Soon the night came to an end once everyone was dropped off home. I made sure Iris went to bed before heading home, as I changed and plopped onto my own bed, sleeping taking over.
