- Natalie -

I woke up that morning, remembering the events from the previous night with a smile on my face.

I try to stop smiling but it only lasts for a few seconds before I'm grinning at the new tattoo on my left wrist.

The night before consisted of hot kisses and ignoring the texts from our best friends. And then I eventually got dropped back home late at night.

Though Harry was supposed to go check in with his mum again about his flight tomorrow, he didn't anyway because he almost pleaded me saying he really did want to stay the night.

I assumed Alex and Louis had an alright night too though.

My heart dropped when I turned around and stretched my arm out expecting to find Harry, but my heart doubles its drop.

He was leaving today. In what felt like the shortest time ever, Harry was leaving for home today.

And I didn't know when I was going to see him again honestly.

I stared blankly for awhile at the sadness that suddenly just overcame me completely.

What if he left? What if he really didn't want me to watch him go?

I went to the bathroom and decided on a shower and to brush my teeth.

After a quick warm shower, I got dressed into yet another white tee shirt and ripped skinnies. I brushed my teeth and brushed my hair

"Hey love, you're awake."

I stop brushing at the sound and immediately clean up and turn around.

Breathing out in relief, I set a hand on my head and close my eyes.

"Jesus christ I thought you left." I whispered. "I-I was so scared you didn't let me say goodbye for a reason and--"

"I'm here, Natalie." He said, smiling softly at me as he lifted my face up and left a kiss on my lips. "And you smell like strawberry."

"Because I have strawberry scented shampoo."

"I like it. Keep using it." He said into my hair as he kissed me on top of my head and caressed me in his arms. My head falls on his chest as I sighed.

"Did you want a shower? I could go make breakfast and--"

"It's alright. I'll just shower when I check on my apartment again. And breakfast was already made." He smiled, wiggling his eyebrows teasingly.

"Why didn't you wake me up?" I frowned. "I could've helped, I'm not a jar of mayonnaise, I can do things."

He laughed at my saying anyway making me roll my eyes exaggeratingly.

"Seriously, I am capable of cooking and doing business."

"Yeah. Clearly not a jar of mayonnaise." Harry smirked, running his fingers through his hair as I playfully scrunched my nose.

"Your hair looks so cute messy." I mumbled, getting on my tippy toes and running my fingers through his hair a few times.

"Ughhh." He groaned, mimicking my exaggeration as I chuckled at him.

A smile was playing on his lips now as he says nothing but takes my hand and swifts me off my feet as soon as we reach the top of the staircase.

"Holy fuck Harry!" I gasped when he carried my bridal style and shooted down the stairs in a sprint.

I was expecting by the worse by now and I scream his name one more time.

"Harry!"

He tripped on the last step on the stairs and falls over as we both fall to the floor making both of us groan.

"Oh god." He laughed, setting his hands over his face making me giggle and then laugh so hard that I snorted obnoxiously, clenching my stomach.

Harry is dying of laughter by now, tears surrounding his beautiful green eyes as he screws them closed and rolls to his side, curling up. The dimples in his cheeks are deeper than ever as he laughs at the embarassing yet spontaneous action.

"You snorted. Natalie! You snorted!" He laughed, breathless as he lets out a sigh and tries to get himself together.

I'm giggling still, but as our laughs died down, the weird people we are, we are still lying down on the floor, staring at the ceiling.

"Promise me you won't cry." Harry glanced at me, turning his head to the side.

"I won't cry."

"You didn't promise."

"I can't."

Harry's eyebrows were furrowed as he concentrated on me.

"This won't be so hard.'' He tried to say, smiling.

I didn't say anything, I just stared at him for awhile before I quietly got up and went to the kitchen.

.

The rest of breakfast consisted of quiet, I was afraid to see who'd talk first though.

I decided to break the silence myself after I finished eating my pancakes.

"The pancakes are amazing." I mumbled, as I dropped my fork and he unexpectedly lets out a breath in relief.

"God, I thought that was going to last forever."

"Same." I sighed. "I'm sorry. I just.. I don't know."

.

That day, we did as promised from the first time we texted, and that was watch reruns of The Fresh Prince of Bel Air and binge eat on some ice cream.

I dig my spoon into the tub, sticking it in my mouth and repeat a few more times before I find Harry laughing.

I frowned at him, taking another bite. "What's so funny?"

"Nothing, nothing's funny." He waved me off.

"Well there's something funny. You're laughing at me.''

"Alright, I got it." He chuckled, dabbing his thumb on my cheek. "You had a little something on your face."

I blushed, looking away. But as he playfully brushed my cheek again, I got a goance of the tattoo on his wrist leaving me speechless and slightly shocked.

"Harry?" I grabbed his wrist and he pretended to hiss in pain as I looked at his tattoo.

As I stare at the ink that traced on his wrist, it was the text bubble, most definitely with my name written in it. Natalie.

"Why did you do that?" I murmured. "Oh my god, why didn't you tell me?"

"Because I know you Nat," He chuckled.

Frowning slightly, I prop my head in my hands. "What do you mean, you know me?"

"You'd tell me not to do it if I told you I was going to get your name tatted in it."

"I know but that's only because.. You're leaving. And I know you'll regret this somehow." I speak softly, and Harry is silent.

He sets the tub of ice cream down on the table making me sigh.

"I know this might probable not end well. Us. It has tragedy written all over us, but that's the point sometimes. You've gotta make mistakes, but you've got to be the best mistake I ever made though." Harry ran a hand through his hair, sweeping it to the side as his pale green eyes train on mine.

My heart dropped at his words, yet again it made me feel so.. On edge. No one has ever really told me things like this before.

Honestly it gets a bit flustering.

"I got your name because no matter what happens though, I want to keep the memory of this. Whatever we are, wherever we are."

"Oh--"

"Don't say 5 Seconds of Summer." He holds a hand at me sassily making me giggle.

"You set yourself up for that one. There's just no escape from it." I laughed.

"They're not even punk rock."

"Oh shut up--never mind. I take that back." I agreed with him, only because it was the truth.

"Mhm." He hummed, setting his hand on my leg as he comfortingly traced circles into my skin with his fingers.

"You still love me.. Right?" I asked hesitantly, only making him smile in amusement.

"How is that even a question? Of course I do."

"I'm just making sure. Only because I've never really gotten this far before." I shook my head, still shy about the fact that I was so new to this.

Only to Harry though. I don't think anyone else would ever really make me feel this weird. In a fascinating way though.

It felt like hours on end were passing by, and I knew the time was coming.

All we really wanted to do was savor the time we had together. Savor the time I had to hold him for a little longer.

"Natalie? Love, I leave in a few hours." He spoke softly, making me close my eyes and bury my face in his neck.

His strong arms tightly held onto me, as he presses me closer to his chest.

"Nooo." I whined softly. "You can't. Not yet. It isn't fair."

I probably sounded like a little girl whining. But still. I didn't want to lose him. Not when I finally got the chance to meet him. Feel him actually be there.

"I-I wanna go somewhere. One last special place."

"Is this where you take all the girls who hopelessly fall in love with you?''

He laughs as he's kissing me on the cheek, pecking me repeatedly until he nuzzled his face in my neck this time.

"Well.. You'd be my first, so." He shrugged. "I guess from now on it could be the mysterious place I take all my lovers." Harry smirked cheekily, his dimples deep.

Honestly? It drove me absolutely insane knowing in the future I wouldn't even remember him, let alone remember what we were.

It scares me knowing Harry wouldn't be in my life forever, only because he managed to make me fall so hard for him.

And I had no idea how I would pick myself back up again.

.

- Harry -

I decided to drive her to my favorite spot on Malibu beach which was the cliff that was next to the ocean.

I remembered a few summers back, I'd always find myself sitting here and just watching the view. It might not seem like a lot, but with the sight? God, I wouldn't have anything else in the world.

After parking the car, I told her about how this was basically my little safe place, where I really didn't worry about stuff.

I also slipped in a few confessions that she was one of the things in my mind as I sat here on some days.

I was happy though, only because I got her to blush again. I loved knowing she really felt genuinely shy and bashful about it.

You could hear the waves softly crashing from up here as she stared in awe.

The sun was just beginning to set, and the clouds that surrounded it were a mix of orange and bright red.

"It's.. Oh my god, everything looks amazing from up here."

"You have no idea the view I have from up here." I smiled, shaking my head as I glance down at her.

"Go away." She joked, playfully pushing me as I cursed.

"Jesus Christ Natalie don't do that I could fall." I groaned, draping an arm around her shoulder.

"Too late." She hummed, pretending to tip us over the edge as I grabbed onto her for dear life.

"Crap!" I yelped.

She laughed so hard, her eyes screwing closed as she set her head on my chest and a hand on my tummy.

Once her laughs died down, I glare at her playfully as she grinned.

"You done yet?"

"Yep." Natalie nodded, sighing. "Do you have a fear of heights though?"

"No, what? Who said that I did? Did Louis tell you behind my back or something?"

"What? No! It's just pretty obvious, you know?" She stared at me in amusement, her eyelashes fluttering as her brown eyes peered up at me.

"Well, I don't alright? Goodness. Can't a man watch the sunset in peace?" I sat down on one of the rocks as I tug her wrist and sit her on my lap.

"Harry, you know this is only about fifteen feet, it's not so far up." Natalie rose her eyebrows, chuckling.

"You don't know that." I argued.

She sits down next to me, patting my head playfully. "It's okay, Edwardo."

"Please.. No."

I could hear her stifling her laughs as she leans her head on my shoulder.

"Hey, you remember?"

"Remember what?" I looked up at her as I wrap an arm around her waist.

"When I said we'd go cliff diving into the ocean. We texted about it and argued about it, remember?"

"Uh.. No. Not happening."

"What? Come on. Don't tell me that you're scared. Do it with me! Please?" She pleaded, hands together in mock prayer.

"I can't do it! I'm going to die alright? Gosh."

"I'll let you hold my hand baby." She coo'd at me, pinching my cheek as I glared at her.

Ugh god, the things that this girl does to me.

Also the things she makes me do.

She kisses me softly and then heavily at once, pulling away.

"When we're older it'll make a cool story." Natalie nodded approvingly.

I would never jump off a cliff, never have I even thought of doing it.

Well, that is until this girl with the longest brown hair and prettiest smile came to ruin my already planned out life.

"What do you say?'' She mumbled, pouting slightly.

"Fine. But I need you to promise me something."

"Okay. Anything."

"Promise me.. You won't laugh if I scream like a girl."

"Alright.. I.." She tried to hold back her laughter, but she failed, seeing she was giggling like crazy now.

"Wow. Just.. Wow." I shouted, making her laugh harder as she turns my face toward her to leave a kiss on my lips.

"Okay! This doesn't count. But I promise." She smiled, nodding.

"Alright. Let's do it then." I shrugged, as I lifted her off my lap and we both stood up.

I tug my shirt off, dropping it to the rock as I turn around to find Natalie already ahead of me as she had taken off her shirt too, only in a black bra and her denim shorts.

"I'm as ready as you are." Natalie smiled, swinging side to side as I approached her slowly.

Her hand sets on my chest, as I eyed her. God..

"You.. Your body looks breathtaking."

"Oh shush." She sheepishly looked away, as she glanced back after a moment.

I take her hand in mine as we both stare at each other.

"Alright Harry listen. I'm going to count to three."

"What about to four?"

"No." She smirked. "But on three we jump alright?"

"Okay." I groaned, feeling my heart nearly beat out of my chest at this moment. I could already feel the rush of adrenaline. My grip on her hand tightened.

"Three."

"What?!" I panicked.

"Three!" She screamed, tugging my hand as we both had jumped off the edge.

"Fuck!" I shouted before I closed my eyes, feeling the cold water engulf me.

My heart lifted and beat so hard, my stomach feeling like it was going in flips.

It felt like I was falling for her all over again.
