Betty Cooper, 17, is dating her boyfriend of 2 years, Chuck Clayton. They met in freshman year and are the 'it' couple. People aspire to be them, except Jughead Jones, her best friend, sees through the lies and facade. Chuck is forcing her to stay with him through blackmail and abuses her. One day, Betty runs out of makeup to cover her bruises and scars. Jughead immediately sees them and Betty has to tell him the whole story. (He's blackmailing her with the video of her and him in the hot tub in season 1 and fake pictures of them hooking up) Will Jughead help get her out of her toxic relationship? Will Betty ever be happy again?
