One day, Betty Cooper is strolling through the Southside until a random guy walks up and starts harassing her. Jughead Jones watches from the distance seeing if she could defend herself or if he has to jump in, eventually, she cant fight him off anymore so he steps in a helps her. After he scares him away, he puts a leather cuff on her right hand. "Show this to anyone if they try to mess with you.", He says, right before he walks away.
