RP 33 // The Ball

Betty, a peasant girl, the most beautiful, kind, determined, heartfelt, selfless girl in the kingdom, sadly lives with her horrid step-mom and step-sisters, Alice, Cheryl, and Veronica. Her father died a couple years back from a terrible disease and her mother died when she was just about 3 years old. Betty did all the work in the beautiful house, cooking, cleaning, making the girls clothes and basically was their servant all day, everyday.

Betty overhears her two sisters talking one day, hearing about a ball that the prince was holding, looking for a wife. Betty's new she could go, since she overheard that every girl in the kingdom between the ages of 18-30 had to go. And luckily, the blonde had just turned 18 a couple weeks before that, so she had to go.

The day of the ball soon arrives and her stepmother says she has to finish alll the chores in the house before 7, since the ball started at 8. Betty races to get all her chores done, luckily having enough time to get ready herself, since she also had to get Cheryl and Veronica ready as well. Betty is completely ready to go, having took a couple pieces of fabric and jewelry the girls didn't wear or like anymore. But once she's downstairs, the girls immediately attack her, saying she stole their jewelry and clothes, basically ripping everything to shreds.

Alice only smirks as she watched the scene, soon saying she couldn't go looking like that, leaving with her two daughters. Betty is heartbroken and runs off to the the garden, crying into one of the steps, and magically, a fairy godmother suddenly appears. Betty tells her what happened and the fairy godmother transforms the rags into a beautiful blue ball gown and her plain white flats into beautiful glass slippers.

The older women also gives her a carriage, coachmen, horses and some other stuff, soon telling her that it only lasted til midnight, so she had to be weary. Betty couldn't thank her enough, soon arriving to the ball.

Betty immediately catches the prince's eye and they dance the night away, the two also walking around the garden. During her amazing night, the two are about to kiss but Betty soon hears the bells start to chime, alerting her that the clock had stuck 12.

Betty immediately panics and runs off, but her glass slipper slips off on one of the steps. Betty knee she didn't have enough time to go back and pick it up, so she left it there, running off into the night.

What happens when Jughead orders them to search around the village for the blonde with the glass slipper? Will Betty ever be with her true love, or will her step-mother make sure she doesn't ever see him again?

Roles:
