Super Nova

Alex

"Alex! Duck!DUCK!"

I grabbed the brick corner and swung around, ducking the next. Something swiped foot above and slammed into the stone, getting hit with rumble. Shaking it off, I grabbed my back pack and peeked over my shoulder. Everything was lit blue in here, seeing the widow now. She was much bigger than I thought, making my skin crawling. I grunted when my my shoe got caught, slamming face first down and slid to a stop. I groveled and picked up my head, my nose on fire. I snapped back when when something flashed, screaming. I rolled out of the way, barely missing the window's leg. Suddenly, she gave out a suddenly blood curling scream and stumbled back. She swung herself around, seeing Jackson was still alive and manage to slice halfway through her legs. I pulled my lighter out of my pocket, flipping it open with a shaky hand. The ground and walls suddenly shook violently, getting brighter in here. Jackson stumbled into the wall, even the widow was having problems keep balance and was covering her eyes and screaming.

"Jackson! Alex!"

I squinted passed the widow, seeing Aiden was standing fine like nothing happened in the first place. "We need to get out of here, now! Before this place collapses on us."

The window threw up her the front of her body, screaming louder. "No ONE is going ANYWHERE!" She threw her feet down, Aiden grabbing Jackson before he could get hit. I got to my feet, stepping back a few feet while she turned around, "I'm starting with you first."

"Alex!"

A explosion erupted from the my right, sending off my feet and into a wall. Instantly knocking the air out of me, coughing. I heard Aiden and Jackon coughing and started to yell my name, yelling back at them. I grabbed my knee and squinted as their shadows came through the debris, Aiden kneeling down and brushed my hair from my face. "You okay?"

"Yeah." I groveled.

"What the hell was that and where did it come from?" Jackson growled.

Aiden peeked over his shoulder, seeing someone walk out from the explosion was.

Kade.

His blacked over eyes scared me, gasping and gripping Aiden's arm. He rested his glowing blue scythe on his right shoulder and tilted his head down. "Pick on someone your own strength, sister." He muttered gently. There a loud shuffle then something dropping hard.

"Long time--no see, big brother."

" You best get out of here." Kade flicked his pitch black eyes on us. "Get to the shores, transport back to your house. You should be safe there."

"What's your plan? She's near immortal." Jackson threw out.

"Near." Kade muttered pulling his scythe off his shoulder. "Alright, boo. You and me now." He gripped it with one hand, waving her to get closer.

"Come on!" Aiden growled, pulling me up to my feet. I stumbled into a run, glancing over at the window.

"You're not going anywhere!" She threw her front legs up and pounced at us, Kade appearing out of thin air and striking and sending her through walls.

"You're going to have to get through me, first." He stamped his scythe, seeing black smoke appear right behind him. I called out to Aiden with caution, seeing the black smoke slowly form some kind of "conscious Demon" above him.

"They are related." Aiden grumbled, pulling to run faster as we ran out.

"What about Valerie?!" Jackson tossed.

"Forget her." Aiden deadpanned, both of us glancing over at him. His jaw tightened up and swallowed, turing left and seeing the entrance. "We're still alive, that's all that matters now and we have to get back home."

Kade

"No different than us!" The widow hissed. "The black blood has been in your veins all along."

"I am different" I growled, cold clawing laying on my shoulders. "I won't change into a spider forever, something dad genetically changed when it came to me. I'm just a gene carrier." I picked up Sin. "You're just a bad experiment. Now, light up the sky!" I stamped it down hard, blue streams of light vibing through the floor in every direction; creating a wild flash of light. My black blood gurgled behind me, peeling its claws off my shoulders and shot towards her as he was blinded. Grabbing the remaining legs of hers, tilting my head down and twitched my brows down. "Tell me...where the cure is."

"You're gonna have to kill me..." She laughed. "It's inside of me."

"So be it." my lips tightened, looking away and slowly feeling my inner self started to pull. The widow let out a blood curdling scream, erupting loud as I clamped my eyes shut.

I walked in utter bone chilling silence, gripping the syringe in my right hand as I rested sin on my left. I took one peek at the entrance then back right where Valerie was, feeling my heart tweak a little. I exhaled softly, slowly walking over to her still wolf body. "You took quite a beating." my voice surprisingly cracked, stopping next to her head. For fuck sake, her eyes were still open. I gulped and kneeled down, brushing my hands over her eyes lids and dropped it back on my knee. "Well, good news. I have the cure." I held it up, looking it over. "Bad news, it was too late." I huffed, laying Sin down next to her. I ran my hand through her shoulder's thick fur. "Guess I'll give you some comfort up there." I sucked a breath in, injecting it anyways. When empty, I kept my finger over it and stared down at my hand. Every now and then, seeing black blood course through it. No. No, you can't do that to her.

"A gene carrier." I murmured softly, looking over to her face. I exhaled, pulling the syringe over to my arm. "I'm sorry if I make you more fucked up." I whispered, groaning when I sticked myself, filling it with dark red blood. I pulled it out and groaned low. "But I don't need all of my immortality." I whispered, picking up Sin and standing up. "I call out to Sin to attempt my ultimate." I rose it up, seeing both pieces instantly glow. My hand tingled from its touch, letting go to see it hovering in the air like some sic-fi movie. Slowly it rose up into the air, its glowing growing brighter

I swallowed as I stared at it in awe, gripping the syringe tighter. "Super Nova." I swung the syringe down.

Aiden

"Holy shit!" We all dropped, coming out onto of the boat, seeing a white light flash. I grabbed Alex shoulder when the sound wave was literally waving through the clouds and trees towards us. "Take cover!" The captain shouted, everyone starting to panic. It hit the shore, a deep boom rippled as if we were sitting on a  sub speaker, gripping the side and half hugging Alex. I glanced back as something was floating in the air where the place was, no where in sight.

"He blew it up." Jackson muttered in astonishment. "He fucking blew it up like nothing. It was a tiny orb, above the ruins, slowly growing bigger in size and vibrant colors. "What the hell is that?"

"I don't know." I whispered. It suddenly exploded, nothing inside. Or so we thought, trees flung up into into air like nothing, something evaporating into thin air. "What the hell is going on?"

"Some kind of force field or something." Jackson shook his head

"The pressure is so intense, atoms are breaking apart in there." Alex yelled.

"How big is the radius of this thing is my main question?" Jackson scowled, watching trees in every direction getting "eaten" up by this things, seeing it take out a building with the same effect. Hitting the shore line, it was slowing down and still came closer to the boat. I pressed against the siding as everyone was, freaking out as even the water was evaporating and seeing it rush into the emptiness and repeatly gobble it up. The "orb of death" suddenly slowly retracted, revealing the shoreline and everything it took was covered in black char; huffing out in shock. It retracted back to a small orb, suddenly raising into the sky; gulping. "What the hell was that?" Jackson growled, turning back to us.

"I'm guessing...that's what Kade meant."

"Question is is he alive?" Alex murmured, slowly letting go of him and locking with his glassy eyes. "Is he, Aiden?"

I glanced back to the charred place, nothing left as if nothing happened here even in the first place. I gave his shoulder a squeeze, sucking a shaky breath in.

"....You bastard."

{Don't worry, there's still an epilogue guys!}
