"Teru, from now on, we'll be taking care of this child. Play nice with her ok?"

The five year old child stared at the older girl he had been just introduced. She didn't seem too much older than he, though she was a lot taller. In reality, the young girl had been in such a state, for quite some time now.

"Nice to meet you, Yumeko's name is Yumeko!" The young girl bowed. Teru returned the bow, face slightly flushed.

"Let's go play?" He stretched out his hand to her.

"Mm, I don't want to play..."

"Sensei, Fujisaki-san fell asleep again." A young teen blinked drowsily, her head had been resting on her forearms until she heard her name be called. She raised her head and rubbed her left eye. It was too early for this.

"Ahem, Fujisaki-san, please do mind and sleep earlier at home so you're not sleeping in class. Now, as I was saying-" he scolded the now awake girl before continuing with the lesson.

Yumeko stared out the window with droopy eyes. She still had trouble remaining awake. It wasn't always like this but the more her powers awoke, the more it was difficult to remain as a human. She thought back to her dream. It's been awhile since she dreamt of her "childhood". Guess she couldn't really call it her childhood, she had looked like a child for a few decades; it wasn't until she had gone into the Minamoto household that her physical appearance had progressed.

The bell rang signaling the lunch hour. A few students gathered their desks into makeshift tables while others went out the door, probably to the lunch room or out to the courtyard.

Yumeko let her upper body slump down again onto the desk, set out to sleep again. Or at least try to.

"Fujisaki-san, Minamoto-kun is asking for you." She heard a female voice speak loudly to the class. Damn it, she almost could have escaped him. She should have left outside before he arrived. It's a wonder his fans didn't make a fuss (or rather how they made a silent fuss at the fact both their idols were together).

Though Teru had his usual smile, Yumeko could tell he was telling her to hurry up.

"Yes, I'm going, going, going. . ." Her voice sounded lethargic, though everyone around her mistook it as only it being her soft voice.

The two made their way down the hall towards the student council room. As they passed by, Yumeko could see a young girl with white hair and green tips stare admiringly at the boy next to Yumeko. Oh, another fan of his. How dedicated.

"Yumeko, I have to do another patrol after I finish here but I need you to go pick up Kou and Tiara and take them home. There's been unusual activity as of late."

Oh, stuck on babysitting duty again. That's fine. "Sure, I don't mind."

"I wasn't asking if you minded or not. Just make sure they're safe."

Oh what a bundle of joy he was. "That does remind me. I've given Kou the job of exorcising the 7th school wonder."

He did what now? Yumeko sat there in disbelief. What was Teru thinking? Not that she didn't believe in Kou but a school wonder had more power than Kou even had, not to mention it was Hanako he had to fight.

Over the next few days, strange occurrences began to happen near Teru. The first was the 'gift' of thanks; aka the 'did you save a fox or something' which Yumeko had to hold in her laughter as Teru stared at the vegetables in confusion.

From there, the incidents continued. Teru's missing button caused much more chaos that Yumeko had been ready for; she retreated back to her classroom before he noticed. In the end, she had to sew back his button once they were home. Yumeko hadn't seen it, but she had heard about Teru sending back a lunchbox to the lost and found. It was just too odd.

And so, that's why Yumeko was currently waiting for Kou outside the middle school gates. She was supposed to pick Tiara up first but had gotten told she would be at a friend's house so they could pick her up together later. A few students were staring at her, was she standing out? She was wearing the school uniform so there shouldn't be a reason why everyone stared, right?

The reason why people stared was the fact that a high school senpai was waiting outside but also, she was just very pretty. The younger students wondered who this pretty older student was waiting for.

"Nee-chan!"

"Kou, you're late. Teru's gonna be angry at me again and it'll be your fault."

Kou smiled shyly and rubbed the back of his head awkwardly. He still couldn't understand why the two fought but least it wasn't too bad.

"Oh! Nee-chan! Is today the day I get to go out on patrol too?" His eyes glittered in excitement, he really had much too much energy for this and Yumeko was not here for it.

"Not today Kou. We're gonna go meet with Teru right now before heading over to pick up Tiara from her friend's house."

Both left their stuff in the student council room and went in search of Teru; whom they found pretty quickly. "Kou let me just take these handouts to the staff room and we can be off." He ignored Yumeko.

"Nee-chan don't be sad about Nii-chan ignoring you. I'm sure he didn't mean to."

Yumeko waved her hands nonchalantly. "It's fine. He knew I was gonna go get you so there's no need for him to tell me anything. If anything he's just being a shy boy, isn't that right, Teru?" Yumeko was teasing the taller blonde, knowing he wouldn't do anything with Kou here, much less while holding a stack of papers.

"Eh? Nii-chan is that true?"

"Kou, don't always believe what she says."

She moved behind Kou, placing her hands on his shoulders to ease his worry. "See Kou, he's just being one big tsundere about the whole-"

"GO!" Yumeko was interrupted by a loud yell.

She had little time to think, merely reacting to the situation. Kou's body hit her own first as she was directly behind him.. She took hold of his waist before reaching towards the railing. Her back hit the side wall while Kou landed on top of her. She wheezed as everyone made a commotion.

"Woah, someone just crashed into someone from the middle school division. Wait- Yumeko-san too!"

"Someone just fell down the stairs?!? Are they alright?!??"

"Yumeko-saaaaaaan! Are you okay?"

Yumeko's ruby eyes scanned the surroundings, holding Kou protectively to her. Her back stung but she'd focus on that later. Once again, she noticed the same white haired girl laying next to where she and Kou had ended up. Okay, that's it. Yumeko needed to have a nice long chat with this girl now; it was one thing to stalk Teru but it was another to- hold it. Why was there a piece of bread next to her?

"Kou are you ok?" She inquired. He was situated on top of her own body, only disoriented from the push. 'How soft,' his face flushed at the thought, finally realizing where he was.

"I'm fine, but nee-chan are you ok?" Yumeko was not, at all, fine. For Kou, she grinned and softly replied, "I'm fine, it doesn't hurt that much." While Teru helped Kou stand away from her fallen body, she turned her attention to the younger girl attempting to crawl away.

"You there, with the white hair. I do hope you have a good explanation for this."
