December

Sia POV

Now that Zenith finally fell asleep, I can sleep. I laid on the floor while cuddling Zenith on my chest, covering both of us with a blanket.

Before I can even count to ten, I feel my eyes close.

My eyes suddenly open, and I find myself in a new environment.

"Jeez... I'm having another vision," I mumble, realizing what was happening. When I have visions, I see what happens in the future, and they usually always come to pass.

The sky is dark, and I automatically hear sounds of screaming terror.

I look up in the sky and see hundreds of nightmares screeching, and flying faster than I've ever seen them move.

"If I die, they die with me!" I hear someone scream.

I look to my left, and see Pitch. The ground was split in half, so deep that it exposes the earths heated core.

That's when I see three guys fall into the split crack in the earth, about to be burnt alive by the earths core.

"No!!! Elsa shouts in terror.

I look at her one more time, and see her holding a beautiful baby girl.

******

I immediately wake up, and sit upwards.

"What the-?" I whisper.

I begin to panic, and my body heats up. Sweat begins dripping down my face, and I feel like I am going out of control.

"The ground splitting?" I say to myself. "When will this happen?" I question.

I feel so overwhelmed... and such a crippling fear. That vision was terrifying.

My head starts to burn, and throb.

Objects around the frozen palace start to lift and shatter. "No! I can't have this happening right now!" I shout at myself. I'm loosing control.

Think happy thoughts... calm down....

I look at Zenith and watch him while he sleeps peacefully.

My breathing slows down, and things stop breaking. The sight of his beautiful existence was enough to calm me down.

"Okay... I'll just wait till morning contact Elsa. I'll warn her then," I say to myself.

It's no surprise to say I couldn't sleep the rest of the night.

Elsa POV

We are all on North's slay, and everyone's asleep but me. The journey is long, and it's past midnight- so I don't blame anyone for falling asleep.

But I wonder how anyone can sleep through the worry. People could die at this battle.

I could die at this battle.

I put my head down, and run my hands through my hair anxiously.

"Don't look so stressed Elsa," I hear from above me. I look up and see Lex sit down next to me, and cross his legs.

"There is no point is sulking. Instead, you should be finding strategies for all of us to win tomorrow," he says, looking at the night sky.

I stare at him. "I wish I were like you," I say.

He raises a brow, still looking at the sky.

"What do you mean?" he asks.

"So carefree. Confident. You shrug everything off," I explain. He chuckles. "You think I'm carefree right now? Naw... I'm scared too. Scared I won't be able to protect myself, protect these other bastards... and mostly scared I can't protect you," he says.

He doesn't have his emotionless expression that he usually has on, he looks worried. I figure that's why he won't look me in the eyes, he doesn't want me to see him vulnerable.

"Protect me? I ask.

"If you end up dying... I honestly don't know how I would be able to cope with that. And I don't want to see you mourn another friend- I barely could watch you when everything happened with Merida," he says.

I sigh.

"Can you look at me?" I say. He slowly turns to look at me.

"Don't try to hide your emotions, or keep your walls up. You don't have to act tough with me," I tell him.

"You're my great friend, saved me multiple times, been there with me through my toughest point. I'm glad you're starting to lower your walls," I continue.

"You don't have to think about me," I say, before leaning my head on his shoulder.

Suddenly I feel a sharp pain in my abdomen. I let out a small shriek and fall of my chair.

"Els? What's going on?!" Lex shouts.

The pain only begins to grow worse and worse, and I start sobbing.

Seeing I woke North up, he rushes over to the scene. "What is going on? Elsa?" he asks.

I groan, the pain being unbearable.

"Somethings going on in my stomach, I don't know if it's the baby.." I say, crying even more. He calls Sandy over to sense me, and by this time- the pain goes down.

It's enough for me to get back up and sit down where I was sitting before, but it still hurt badly.

Sandy touched my stomach, and began silently talking to North. I don't bother trying to understand what he's saying- I'm currently taking in deep breaths to soothe this pain.

Sandy finishes whatever he's saying, and North looks to me. "It's your baby's magic Elsa," North says.

"The child will have extreme power, more than anyone has ever seen. Both you and Jack have wildly possessed power, and now your child has both your power combined- and more," he says.

"Yes it's a blessing, but it is also very dangerous. It will be hard for the kid to contain it. Very... she needs to be very diligent with it, or she could easily freeze entire towns to death by one tantrum," he says, watching me worriedly.

My heart drops.

Even me- when I first got my powers, it was so difficult to control.

So imagine my little sweetness....

I don't want her to have to deal with this.

"Is there a way to stop it?" I ask.

Sandy starts talking again, which I cannot understand. I wait for him to finish, and look to North.

"He said he's sure there is something, but it won't be an easy process, and it will be painful to the child," North replies.

I groan.

"God," I whisper.

"Calm down, it's okay," Lex tells me.

"The child's power is growing inside you every day, and eventually the power could physically hurt you, maybe even kill you. Especially now that it's December and it's cold- the baby is attracted to the season," North says.

I gasp.

Suddenly Sandy rushes to the front of the slay, and is making something.

"What is he doing?" I ask.

"He's making a medicine to control and the baby's magic from hurting you further. Take one every hour," North says.

I nod.

Sandy rushes back, handing me a bottle of pills.

I smile at him. "Thank you," I say. He smiles back.

I glance next to me seeing Rapunzel who was asleep the entire time. I lay my head on her lap, and begin to drift off.
