Adrien walked in his room and sat on his couch. Plagg flew out.
"So, new girlfriend?" Plagg asked.

"Says you." Adrien snickered.
"I have no idea what you're talking about." Plagg crossed his arms. He wanted to change the subject. "I'm hungry! Can I have some cheese?"
Adrien smiled. "You don't have to ask, Plagg. You know where it is."
Plagg flew and got a piece of Camembert from the cabinet. He flew back to Adrien and sat beside him.

"So, how's Tikki?" Adrien grinned.
"Shut up, please." Plagg said in between bites. "You're ruining my appetite."
"How about that kiss?" Adrien mocked Plagg.
Plagg groaned.
"Don't worry, Sugarcube, we'll help you!" Adrien imitated Plagg's voice.
Plagg started to groan louder.
"Sugarcube? What kind of nickname is that?" Adrien wasn't being mean, it was just boy talk.
Plagg started to yell, just like the time Adrien tried to get him to talk about Ladybug's secret. (In the episode 'Syren')

Meanwhile, Marinette laid down on her back under her blanket.
She felt her lips and smiled.
She didn't have any words for her high levels of serotonin.

"I'm so proud of you, Marinette." Tikki flew to Marinette's eye level.
"What for?" Marinette asked.
"Everything." Tikki said. "You're so talented and patient. You're truly the best Ladybug I've ever had."
"Aww, Tikki. Come here." Marinette gave Tikki a kiss on her head. She then placed Tikki beside her on her pillow. Tikki giggled, she felt so loved.
"Goodnight Marinette." Tikki said.
"Goodnight sweet Tikki."
And they fell asleep.

*At 8 am*

Marinette woke up as soon as her alarm went off. It was one of those mornings where she wasn't tired, even though it was so early in the morning.
She was excited for today.

"Good morning, Tikki!" Marinette sing-songed.
"Good morning, Marinette!" Tikki giggled. "You sure are bubbly this morning."
"Today's my meeting with Gabriel!" Marinette exclaimed. "Not to mention, my date with Adrien!"

"What am I going to wear?" Marinette asked. "I didn't plan an outfit for today, and I don't want to wear my usual one."
"We can decide later, Marinette." Tikki said. "Just relax and enjoy your morning."
"Enjoy my morning?" Marinette never really took time to soak up the morning sun, so she brushed her teeth, ate some breakfast, and headed to her balcony.

When she got up there, she leaned over the balcony. Marinette looked around. The birds were chirping, the city was quiet, and people were walking. It was beautifully sunny with no clouds. It's almost as if Mother Nature knew what today was.

"It's beautiful." Marinette said to Tikki.
"I know ri-" Tikki yelped and flew back to Marinette room.
"Huh?" Marinette turned around and wondered why Tikki went down there.
"Good morning." Said a familiar masculine tone from behind her.
Marinette turned around and saw Chat Noir standing there.
She felt a blush rise to her cheeks.
Why am I blushing? Marinette thinks, I'm literally going on a date with Adrien today.

"Good morning." Marinette said. "What are you doing here? It's like 8:30."
"I know," Chat said and leaned on her balcony railing. Marinette stood beside him and did the same. "I needed some advice."
"Advice?" Marinette questioned.
"Yeah, about a girl."

Marinette felt jealousy rise in her stomach. She quickly dismissed it.
"I can't really ask you who it is, can I?" She said.
"No," Chat Noir lightly laughed. "You can't, but you can help me with her. Will you?"
"Of course." Marinette sighed.
Chat Noir beamed and glanced at Marinette, who was still looking into the city.

"I'm going on a date with her today." He said, "What do you think she likes?"
"Uh.." Marinette scoffed. "I don't even know who she is."
"She's very similar to you." Chat laughed on the inside. "Very similar. Same interests. Same talents. Same attitude, everything! E-except for looks."
"Okay..." Marinette said in a suspicious tone. "Is this your first date with her?"

"Yeah." Chat said. "I'm so excited."
"Well, if she were me," Marinette said as Chat laughed inside again. "Bring her something she likes, or even better, bring her something that means something to the two of you. Maybe something that represents an inside joke, or a nickname. Also, try to get to know her for who she is. Let her know that she can be comfortable around you. Let her babble for hours and hours if she wanted to."

Chat frowned. "How will I know if she's not the one?"
"You'll know." Marinette smiled to herself. "Personally, I was conflicted between these two boys, but one of them actually made a move towards me last night, and we're going out today!"

Wrong move, Marinette.

Chat felt jealousy and anger. "Which boys?" He gritted between his teeth.
"Adrien, and..." She sighed. Should she really say it? Well, she's over him, and they're both going out with different people. "...and you."
Chat didn't know how to feel. He was jealous of himself? Okay. That's..something.
"Me?" He asked.
"Yeah." Marinette nodded. "You. Over time, I just admired you and it turned into a crush. But that's all it was, a crush."

Chat nodded. He felt better knowing that Marinette liked his civilian self better. His anger and jealousy faded.

Her and Chat spoke for a little while. They spoke about the Ladyblog, Marinette's friends, Marinette's date, and basically Marinette because Chat couldn't say anything about himself, or he'll jeopardize his identity.

"Alright Chat," Marinette said. "It's 9:30, I should get ready now."
"Okay, I'll see you later, Princess." Chat winced at the name he called her.
Marinette just waved it off and said goodbye.

Marinette washed her hair and put on her lucky socks.
"What should I wear, Tikki?" Marinette stood in her bra, underwear, and lucky socks.
"Hmm.." Tikki went in Marinette's closet and pulled out an outfit. She put the clothes on the bed.
"Are you sure?"
Tikki nodded. "Trust me."

(Look in chapter photo for the outfit. ALL CREDITS GO TO THE ARTIST (I don't know who made it))

"Wow, Marinette." Tikki admired. "You look so beautiful."
"You really think so?" Marinette blushed. She wasn't used to showing this much skin.
"Totally, Adrien would love it."

Marinette blushed harder.
"Um, but Marinette..." Tikki asked with concern, "Are you really going to wear those bright pink socks with your flats?"
"But they bring me luck!"
"Marinette, you're literally Ladybug. You grant Lucky Charms. I can't even imagine any more luck than that." Tikki said bluntly.
Marinette sighed and took off her socks.

It was around 10:30, so Marinette had just enough time to get to the Agreste's house.
She got the cloth garment that contained Adrien's suit and went downstairs.
She said her goodbye's to her parents and put on some purple flats, like her dress.

Marinette walked out of the bakery and noticed Adrien's bodyguard in front of her house. She found this suspicious.
As if on cue, Marinette's phone started to ring.
She retrieved it from her purse to see who it was.
Gabriel.
Did he want to cancel the meeting?
Marinette cleared her throat. She had to sound professional.

"Hello?" Marinette answered the phone.
"Hi Ms. Dupain-Cheng." Gabriel said. "I figured you may need a ride because you have Adrien's suit, so I sent his bodyguard. Adrien insisted on coming along, so he'll be there as well."
"Okay, thank you Mr. Agreste." Marinette replied.
"No problem. I'll see you soon, Ms. Dupain-Cheng." He hung up the phone.

Wait- Adrien?
In the backseat?
Right now?
How did she not see him?

Marinette took closed her eyes and took a deep breath before walking. When she opened them, Adrien was right in front of her, beaming.
Marinette yelled with fright.
Adrien laughed. "Good morning, Marinette."
Marinette exhaled. "Good morning, Adrien."
"Is that my suit?" He pointed to the cloth garment.
"Yup."

Adrien took the suit in one hand and held Marinette's in the other. He lead her to the car and opened her door. She blushed and got in.
Adrien opened the passenger door and hung the cloth garment carefully on the handle in the car ceiling. He closed the passenger door and ran to the door opposite of Marinette's and got in the backseat.

"Thank you." She smiled.
"Anything for you." He grinned.
Marinette blushed. This boy made her crazy.

Within a few short minutes, they arrived at the Agreste's house.

"You ready?" Adrien asked.
"Not really." Marinette muttered.
Adrien held her hand. "My father is going to love your work, Marinette." He consoled her. Marinette smiled.

Adrien got the cloth garment and opened Marinette's door and lead her inside.
Marinette entered the house and looked to the left.
"Ah, Ms. Dupain-Cheng, right on time." Gabriel opened his office door and motioned for her to come inside.
Adrien handed Marinette the cloth garment. "You'll do great." He whispered.
Marinette whispered thank you and walked in the office.

Adrien had to wait in his room - he really had nothing else to do. He sat on his couch and held his head in his hands.

"So, how was your early morning trip?" Plagg asked him.
"I just wanted to see her, Plagg." Adrien said. "I was nervous about our date. I still am! I don't know what to do."
Plagg got to thinking. After a while, he came up with the perfect idea. He was sure Marinette would love it. "Why don't you give her some flowers?"

Adrien lifted his head and looked at Plagg with astonishment. "That's actually a good idea, Plagg."
"All of my ideas are good." Plagg rolled his eyes.
Adrien grinned to himself and went on his phone.
He purchased a pickup for some flowers and went to go get them.

By the time Adrien got back, Marinette finished her meeting with Gabriel. She was standing at the gateway, clearly waiting for Adrien.

Gabriel allowed Adrien to go out with Marinette without his bodyguard, which Adrien counted as a blessing.
"These are for you." Adrien handed her the flowers.
"Bluebells?" Marinette giggled.
"Just like your eyes, Princess."
Marinette widened her eyes.
Adrien widened his eyes and immediately regretted saying that.

"What?"
