Y/n is Damon Salvatore daughter, she was in a spiritual coma linked to Katherine. He was able to have either her or Katherine. Y/n was human when she was out in the coma.

The past few months y/n has spent it getting to know her dad and finally getting that father-daughter bond with him. He told her stories about Alaric, The originals, Enzo and his life.

Takes place 5x22, Home.

Y/n ran to Bonnie and saw Stefan fade back to life.

"Where's my dad?" Y/n questioned and she saw Elena crying, "no..."

"And Lexi?" She questioned as Stefan shook his head.

Y/n started sobbing and she walked away.

"Liv!" She ran into the room and didn't see her, "Bonnie. We need to find them. We need to start the spell again."

"We can't that was our one shot." Bonnie spoke.

"Yeah but- my dad he's still on the other side. We have to-" y/n started crying again.

"Y/n. Honey. It's too late." Bonnie's voice cracked seeing the 15 year old girl crying.

"No." Y/n stepped back and leaned against the wall sobbing.

Bonnie looked back at Damon and he nodded.

"He's here." She looked up and looked around, "you can say goodbye."

"Goodbye sweetie." Bonnie kissed the girls forehead and walked out.

Y/n took a deep breath.

"You promised you'd come back..." she cried.

"Even if I wanted to apologize." He spoke moving a peice of her hair off her face, "you couldn't hear me, so I won't."

"Please don't leave me again..." she sobbed.

"I don't have a choice honey..." he smiled, "you are by far the best thing that ever happened to me in my 173 years on this earth. The fact that I get to die knowing I was loved. Not just by anyone. By an amazing daughter like you. Y/n Salvatore. The epitome of a fulfilled life.

He watched as she slid down the wall hugging her knees and sobbing.

"It's never gonna get any better than this. Your life shouldn't have been like this. You shouldn't have lived to be 148 years. especially in a coma. you deserved a good life, with a good dad and a better future. I love you y/n." He smiled with his hand on her cheek.

"Please come back to me." Her voice cracked.

"Bye y/n..." Damon sighed letting a few tears slip.

Y/n could feel him leave the room, it got cold and she sobbed.

She heard someone walk in, she looked up to see alaric.

"He's Gone..." she cried hugging her knees and laying her head on them.

"Come here." Alaric grabbed her hands and pulled her into his Arms.

Stefan sat with Caroline.

"Y/n lost them all today. Lexi, Damon, Bonnie and Elena." Stefan spoke.

"But Elena's not dead." Caroline sighed.

"No but we know Elena won't be able to comfort and help y/n." Stefan sighed.

He cried into his hands and Caroline hugged him.

Y/n walked outside with Alaric and she saw the others. They all looked at her knowing she was probably hurting the most with loosing her dad after just getting him back.

"Y/n." Stefan sighed.

"I just got him back..." she cried and he walked over and held her in his arms.

*4 months later*

Y/n is living with Alaric after Stefan left, she's became friends with Luke and he found Stefan with a locator spell, but no one took her to see him.

"Ew gross if your gonna do it with a girl don't do it out in the open." Y/n spoke and Enzo turned around smirking.

"Hello Love." He smiled.

"Wanna take a ride with me to see a guy with hero hair?" She sighed.

"Yeah let's go." He smiled and they left.

They got the Stefan's with Caroline and were having dinner.

Enzo and Stefan ended up fighting and Damon snapped his neck and Caroline dipped the second she realized Stefan didn't want to keep looking.

"Y/n. You need to move on. We aren't getting f them back." Stefan spoke.

"That's easier said then done." She spoke.

"Your 15 years old you don't know how to feel." Stefan sighed.

"Are you kidding me? I lost my dad Stefan. My dad! Who I spent years waiting for him to kill Katherine so we could be a family again! And when he did he was excited to see me again! Then I lost him! I watched him every one of those years and he couldn't see me! Now I have to go everyday without him. And a girl with no parents or even her uncle at 15 years old living with guy who was raised from
The dead is kinda hard so I'm sorry if I'm not mature enough to know how I feel. And I'm sorry I wasn't able to move on within 2 months of them dying. Cause I didn't get to spend almost 200 years with him." She spoke.

"We have to move on sooner or later." Stefan sighed, "wether you like it or not they aren't coming back and there nothing we can do about it y/n! Grow up and move on! Stop fantasizing about the life you couldn't had with Damon. He's gone and we're never going to see him again! So you got do that and leave me alone."

"You know what. Your a dick. Alaric was right it was a waste trying to find you. I shouldn't have come. I really wanted to try this again Stefan. Your my uncle and now it feels like your just some stranger." She walked out crying and Stefan stood there regretting what he just said.

Y/n sat in the passenger seat sobbing she got a call and answered.

"Hey Luke." She tried not to sound like she was crying.

"Hey There is a party tonight me and liv were wondering if you'd like to join us." He spoke.

"That sounds like fun but uh- how about I just sneak into the dorms and sleepover we can raid the vending machine and have a movie night?" She sighed.

"Yeah that sounds great! See you tonight!" Luke sounded excited.

"See you tonight." Y/n spoke and he hung up and she started crying again.

She heard enzo getting in the car.

"Well that was a bit of a bust." He spoke, he looked up her and saw she was looking away, "hey. Hey." He grabbed her face and made her look at him. She looked at him and he saw the tears he got angry, "I'll be right back."

He got out of the car and went back inside and threw Stefan.

"I've got a teen girl crying out there over you. Because she cares so much. I've been trying to figure out why because I can't see what's worth caring about. Y'know Damon once told me that he promised you an eternity of misery. And I was thinking what could his brother have ever done to inspire so much hatred. But now I get it. Your not a brother to him. Brothers don't give up. Especially when his brothers daughter is broken and hurt and needing you. So every time I see you doing anything that looks like you've done so, every time you try to start over in a life that's nothing but a lie, I will make you pay. I will be the one to bring you the misery you deserve for making that poor girl feel like she's wrong for grieving her father and making her feel like she needs to give up." Enzo spoke, leaving Stefan speechless.

*later*

"Maybe Stefan's right, maybe I should give up." Y/n sniffled.

"Don't listen to him. He's wrong. We will find a way to bring your dad back I promise." Enzo spoke, "when I was in Augustine with Damon he told me about you, how he wanted to find Katherine and kill her to get his daughter back. He said if he didn't get to live to see the day you live that he wanted someone to take care of her. And that's what I'm doing I'm taking care of you y/n. So don't give up. Keep fighting. Keep looking for the little bit of possibility of being them back. Because no Matter what happens. I'm not leaving your side til we get him back."

Y/n nodded crying and breathing heavily.

"Let's bring them back." Y/n smiled and Enzo nodded.
