Takes place season 5 when stefan looses his memory.

Y/n has been in mystic falls since Klaus came he used her to get the doppelgänger not realizing it was Stefan's Lover.

Y/n had just found out Stefan had no memory, she got to the grill and saw Stefan and Damon.

"Hey Guys." She smiled.

"And who are you?" Stefan smiled.

"You didn't tell him about me yet?" She looked at Stefan.

"I'm y/n." She smiled.

"We dated in the 70s?" Stefan smiled.

"Alright y/n your on babysitting duty." Damon Walked away.

"So what did Damon say about me?" She sat Infront of Stefan.

"He said that your a ripper like me but worse and he said that you got up and left me in the middle of the night." Stefan spoke.

"Okay I'm gonna tell you the real story." She chuckled, "I am a ripper, I can be worse than you, and How we broke up was nothing like that. You left me. We got into a fight because you thought I was out of control after you made me drink human blood and when I said I'd change you locked me on the roof of a building and left me, we met again in the 90s and we tried being friends again and here we are."

"Sounds like I was an idiot." He chuckled.

" a little bit but it was ok you were cute, especially with the eyeliner look you had and the emo-punk style." She giggled remembering it.

"I wore eyeliner and an emo-punk style?" Stefan spoke, "how did we meet?"

"1973 We met at a rock band. I was there watching the band play. And you were watching me." She chuckled, "but you didn't introduce yourself til 1975 after you followed me here."

"Who was playing?" He questioned.

"Black Sabbath." She smiled.

"Are they good?" He smirked.

"I used to think they were im not sure anymore i haven't listened to them in a while." She chuckled.

*later*

Y/n and Stefan were standing on wickery bridge the place stefan and y/n met in 1975.

"I was sitting on the edge about to rip my daylight ring off and you saw a girl in need of a friend you saved me twice here." She smiled.

They were talking.

"I remember when you first revealed you were a vampire, I put my hands right here." She put them on his face, "And I said we're the same."

She went to take her hands away but he pulled them back.

"Don't." He spoke and leaned in, their noses touched then Stefan leaned in and kissed her.

"It's happening all over again..." she pulled away slightly.

"What?"he held her close.

"Before you lost your memory Stefan you hated me. You hated me for helping Elena when she had her humanity off and you hated me for Helping Kol and Katherine. You didn't care wether I lived or die and you killed my boyfriend because I didn't deserve to love again. If this happens..." she pauses, "I want it to happen when you have your memories. I've loved you for years Stefan. I never stopped loving you."

"I really want my memories back now cause right now I see an amazing beautiful women." He smiled.

"Memory you would say I'm a monster." She sighed.

"I don't see that right now." He smiled and kissed her again.

*a few weeks later*

Y/n got a call from Elena saying that Stefan's memories were back.

She walked into the house and saw Stefan by the fire with Elena and Damon.

"Stefan..." she stuttered.

"Y/n." He didn't hesitate and ran into her arms, "I'm so sorry. I'm sorry for the way I treated you."

"Stefan." She smiled, "I love you."

"I love you." He kissed her and didn't want to let go.

Y/n and Stefan finally got together after 25 years of hating each other. Y/n finally felt true happiness and Stefan finally found the love and soulmate he needed.
