Y/n is Y/n and Elena's sister, she's vampire.

Y/n and Tyler have been dating since freshman year, they are seniors now and Tyler left for 8 months to help the werewolf pack in the appellation mountains and he wants to go back because Hayley found more wolves.

Y/n was In the driveway playing basketball before she left for practice and before she talked to Tyler.

"Hey what's up!" Tyler walked over with a smile.

"Umm- I'm- really happy that your so excited to go back to the appellations." She spoke.

"Yeah! I am too! I can't wait to like help the-" he was speaking but was interrupted.

"I really really really really really don't want you to go." She blurted.

"What?" Tyler's smile dropped, "why?"

"Because..." she spoke taken back, "being in a long distance relationship was Really hard on US."

"I know..." he put his hands in his pockets, "it was really hard for ME too."

"I mean we're not gonna be in highschool forever, and then who's knows what gonna happen after that." She spoke.

"Exactly y/n! That's why I have to jump on this opportunity RIGHT NOW!" he spoke smiling again.

"What about me!?" She slightly yelled, "what about us?"

"Why are you being like this?" Tyler scoffed.

"Because you left me for EIGHT months and I waited for the day that you were gonna come back, and your just telling me your taking off again!?" She yelled trying not to cry.

"Okay! I thought you'd be a bit more supportive!" He spoke loudly.

"I have been so supportive!" She yelled, "more than you!"

"This isn't really making me wanna stay!" Tyler yelled.

"Then go!" She cried.

"I will!" He yelled quickly.

"But I can't promise that I'm just gonna be waiting for you when you get back this time!" Y/n cried.

"Fine!" He yelled and she stared in disbelief, "y/n. Maybe we should break up."

"Wow...okay." She started taking off his letterman jacket and she handed it to him. He slowly grabbed it with tears in his eyes.

"Okay...see you around Forbes." He walked away getting in his car and driving off.

She bent over grabbing her basket ball, dribbling it a a few times, she turned to shoot it but she threw it at the racket of other basket balls.

She stood there sobbing.

"Y/n?" Jeremy walked out hearing the racket fall.

"Jeremy we just broke up." She sobbed and he walked over hugging her.

*later*

Y/n was sitting in the park drinking and trying not to cry.

"I don't usually see Girls- Women drinking there problems away. You ok?" She recognized the accent. Kol.

"I'm- I'm fine." She sniffled.

"I know you and your friends don't get along with my brother but I'm here for you y/n." Kol smiled and she tried to smile but ended up crying.

"Hey what happened darling?" He pulled her into a hug. Y/n and Kol got along quite well nobody else understood but they both understood each other.

"Me and Tyler broke up." She cried, "he's leaving again and didn't care how I felt about it."

"He's an idiot." Kol rubbed her back, "darling you deserve a lot better than him. You deserve someone who's going to stay with you and Love you, and care for you. He didn't do that. Someone who values there time with you."

"It's hard to find people like that's nowadays everyone is either trying to kill me or is afraid of me." She sniffled.

"Not me." He smiled.

*a year later*

Y/n and Kol started dating 10 months ago. Y/n found out that Tyler was back in town, but she wasn't going back to him, she had Kol now.

She was playing pool with him In the grill, he stood behind her and helped her hit the ball.

Tyler walked in and saw them together, he thought it was nothing until y/n smiled at Kol and kissed him.

"Tyler." Jeremy walked up to him.

"Hey man." Tyler slightly hugged him, "how long- uh- how long have they been together?"

"About 9-10 months now." Jeremy smiled seeing how happy his sister was.

"How serious are they?" Tyler didn't take his eyes off Kol.

"uh pretty serious actually, he applied for whitemore college and they are getting a dorm together down there. He even started going to school with her before they graduated. They have their dorm and stuff they are leaving tomorrow to bring all their stuff down there." Jeremy spoke.

"And everyone's okay with her dating an original?" Tyler chuckled.

"Yeah as long as she happy." Jeremy went to walk away, "and Tyler. don't mess it up for her."

Tyler walked away and y/n saw Tyler walking up to the bar.

"Oh great Lockwoof is back." Kol chuckled.

"And we're leaving tomorrow." She smiled kissing his cheek.

*the next day*

Y/n finished pulling the last box in the U-Haul and shut the door turning around to see Tyler.

"Oh! Tyler! You scared me." She gasped.

"Sorry I didn't mean to." He spoke and they stood awkwardly, "so Whitemore? Congratulations."

"Yeah thank you. It's been my dream school since I was 8." She smiled.

"Look I wanted to say I'm sorry, I know your with Kol but I wanted to say I'm sorry and I hope we can try being friends again." He smiled lightly, "or maybe even people who wave at each other on their way to Class."

"Id love to be friends Tyler." She smiled, "I'm leaving for whitemore today."

"I know you and Kol, I'm happy for you by the way. You deserve to be happy." He nodded.

"Thank you Ty." She nodded.

"Hey y/n you ready- Tyler." Kol walked out.

"Hey kol. Uh I'll see you guys around ." He walked away.

"Do I need to beat him up?" Kol chuckled.

"No he was just being my friend and saying bye. I'm ready." She smiled.

As they were driving they saw Caroline and a bunch of people she probably compelled to say goodbye.

"Bye!!" Elena smiled.

Y/n got out of the truck and ran into Elena and Jeremy's arm.

"Be safe. Don't die again. I'll see you next week elena and Jeremy. Here's the key to my Car. Crash it and I'll kill you." She smiled.

"Thank you." He kissed her cheek and hugged her.

"Bye guys!" She waved and got back In the truck.

Rebekah came up to the window.

"Be good to my brother. He's lucky to have you even if he is a narcissist jerk." She smiled.

"Love you to Bex." Kol chuckled.

"Love you guys." She let go of the car.

"Love you bex!" Y/n smiled as they drove off.

Y/n held kols hand as they drove to whitemore. Her new adventure has begun.
