Asalamualaikum
Dear time capsule....

My grief has swallowed all my tears,
and became a raging flooded river,
swift, dangerous levels rising,
ready to burst its banks,
The burden so heavy,
It will sweep anything in it's path.
My anger is like a tsunami,
dangerous yet justified.
The currents ready to engulf
the perpetrators, consume them whole
drown them in overflowing pools.
The waves of guilt and fear consuming them.
Only then will I be in peace.

Still swift and the levels have risen,
ready to burst its banks.

When all the evil is washed away
I will find solace and find my way to the sea.
