Chapter 3

The three girls turned around and faced a man in a black furry coat and a smug look on his face.

"Hi." The man said.

The three knew exactly who he was and ran off. They ran and ran and ran and finally turned a corner into an alleyway. The three of them panted for a while. Then looked around a bit.

"You know it's not nice to run away from people when they're talking to you. I thought your parents taught you better."

The three looked up terrified looking at the man who was standing on top of a building, slowly making his way down. Sakura and Kai went on either side of Chime to protect her. That man was dangerous. One of the most dangerous around. That man was named Orihara Izaya.

"So you guys made it into Raira? Congratulations!" Izaya said only getting a glare from Sakura and poker-faces from the other two. He just smirked.

"Ryugamine and Kida. Even their kids are friends. What ya know." Izaya says coming closer. "And add Shizu-chan's kid and it's a perfect group!"

Izaya came closer and closer to the girls as they kept their ground. Kai looked back at Chime and saw something shiny sticking out of Chime's hand. Suddenly, Izaya wiped his hand to the side. He brought his hand back in front of him and opened his palm. A knife. He turned to where came from as well as everyone else. A man who looked very similar to Izaya was at the opening of the alleyway glaring at Izaya, then just turned away from the alleyway and kept walking with his shocked friend walking beside him. Izaya glared at the entrance and then smirked. He backed up a bit.

"Well, maybe I'll talk to you girls some other time, alright? Okay. Seeya!" He said walking out of the alleyway. The girls just looked both shocked and confused with what had just happened.

"Was that really necessary?" Shou asked worried.

"Of coarse it was." Karma responded calmly, too calmly for Shou's liking.

"But that was your dad! Don't you think he'll be angry?"

"Probably, but whatever. It's my way of telling him to back off or quite it from a long distance or something will happen. Kind of like a warning."

"That is not how you warn people!"

"I don't do that to everyone, just him."

"That doesn't make a difference!"

"Calm down. Besides, I think he got the message."

"That's not what I... forget it." Shou said frustrated. "I give up."

Karma just looked confused.

"Anyway, so did you hear?" Shou asked.

"Hear what?" Karma asked.

"An old colour gang is supposedly coming back!" Shou answered a little excited.

"Oh yeah, I've heard of that. What was it called again?"

"I don't remember."

"That's too bad." Karma responded. "Wait, wasn't it the one that had no rules or leader or was that a different one?"

"I don't remember!"

"Okay, okay. Maybe I'll ask my dad about it. He might know something."

"Yeah, you do that."

"Say, if the gang with no rules is the one that is coming back, do you wanna join it?" Karma said randomly surprising Shou.

"That was sudden."

"Answer the question."

"Well, maybe if you join."

"I think I'll probably join. It seems like fun." Karma said smiling. "Plus, it's a great way of catching up on what's going on in the city. I heard that they have their own site, chatrooms, and other stuff. Also, I won't feel like I'm getting bossed around and meet new people."

Shou smiled along with Karma. Karma was always into these kind of stuff, even when they were younger. He was quiet and bored all the time so when something happened that caught his attention, he would go all out and find out more about it and get involved with people realizing it. Shou thought this gang was the perfect gang for Karma to be in because of the so many things that are going on at once. If only he could remember the name...

"Yo, earth to Kishitani, are you still here?" Karma asked waving his hand in front of Shou's face. Shou snapped out of his trance.

"Yeah I'm still here." Shou answered smiling.

"So, what's up in the Kishitani household?" Karma asked.

"Nothing much. Dad's weird as always and mom's always busy."

"Oh is that so."

"Yeah, it's the same as always. How about your family Karma?" Shou asked. Karma never usually talked about his family or what's going on at home.

"What do you think?" Karma answered sarcassticly. "My dad's crazy and my mom's outta town. How do you think it is?"

"Sorry for asking." Shou said putting his hands up high. Karma just laughed.

"No, it's fine. Sure my dad's crazy but I can handle him." Karma said grinning.

"How do you handle him?"

"That's not important."

The two boys stopped at the crosswalk.

"Okay, seeya tomorrow Kishitani!" Karma said walking across the street waving his hand.

"Yeah bye!" Shou said waving and turned the corner and headed home.
