The Gerudo Leader finally made his way into the middle of Castle Town, after a few long minutes of procrastinating halfway into the town. He sighed. Anxiousness was building up in him while he examined the glorious town and the calming people in it.

Were they going to react to a Gerudo's appearance or not? No one seemed to care. A few people did exchange glances with Ganondorf, some giving him a polite smile and then walking away, but otherwise no one seemed to care that he, a Gerudo, was here in Hyrule's Castle Town.

Ganondorf smiled at the thought. Delivering the Gerudo Sword would be easier now if the Hylians weren't the least bit concerned about the Gerudo roaming the streets.

In the middle of the town where the fountain stood proudly, a few people, most likely a family or a large group of friends, were singing ballads in proud voices. Ganondorf mentally complimented them for their amazing singing.

If he had some rupees on his hands right now, he would have certainly told them himself they sang wonderfully and gave them some rupees for it. Alas, he was empty-pocketed right now, to his dismay.

He took a deep breath and began to walk aimlessly around the town, before realizing he had no idea where the castle was.

Things had certainly changed since he had last made an appearance here...

Ganondorf walked up to a random man and his wife to ask for directions.

"'Scuse me," Ganondorf muttered, then tapped the man's shoulder.

The man turned around and his eyes widened. "Who are you?"

The Gerudo Leader gulped. Had someone smart enough finally found out he was a Gerudo?

"I just need directions to the castle, sir," Ganondorf said.

A few moments of silence passed between the two men, before the Hylian man sighed and pointed in a direction that most likely meant that's the way the castle was located.

"Over there," the Hylian muttered. "Don't cause any ruckus. The princess here doesn't exactly take too kindly to people like you."

"People like me? I haven't done anything," Ganondorf protested.

"You're a Gerudo. How should I trust you after all you and your people have done to us?" the Hylian man spat. "Do you not even remember what happened one hundred years ago?"

Ganondorf shook his head. "Nay, I do not. Even if I did remember, the past is in the past, eh?"

The Hylian man scoffed at Ganondorf, and stepped aside.

Ganondorf made a "tsk" sound, before he began to walk in the direction that the man had instructed him to go to. The Gerudo Sword was still securely held under his arm, which he was thankful for not losing it so soon.

Once he stepped onto the official grounds of Hyrule Castle, he gulped. Ganondorf took a few steps forward and was soon at the doors of the grand castle.

He looked up at it, taking a few precious moments to gaze upon it's majestic structure. Hyrule was a beautiful place, Ganondorf thought. He smiled to himself, hoping one day his Gerudo Village could achieve greatness like the Hylians did.

"Sir!" one of the guards spat, snapping Ganondorf out of his trance.

"What brings you here?" another guard said, looking at Ganondorf intently. Both the guards were watching his movements intently.

"Er..." Ganondorf started, somewhat nervous. He cleared his throat. "I am here to deliver a sword from the Gerudo Village."

"And why?" questioned the first guard.

Ganondorf felt a little more confident in his speech now. "Because we, the Gerudo's, have had enough of this dumb rivalry between the Hylians and us. Therefore, we've made a grand sword for your army's captain, or someone important, to use and to serve as our sign of peace. That's all we want, peace. And if you do not want to accept our proposal, than so be it."

The guards both exchanged somewhat confused glances at each other, before directing their gaze back to the Gerudo Leader.

"You are the leader of the Gerudo's, yes?" one asked.

Ganondorf nodded.

The other guard sighed. "Alas, our princess is busy with preparations of her own, if you were wanting to speak with her about peace and deliver the sword to her. But you are allowed to see the king as well. The princess would be a wiser option, though, if you have the time to wait for her majesty to finish whatever she is doing."

Ganondorf thought for a moment, before he made up his mind. "I can wait to see the princess. It depends on how long I will have to wait though. If it ends up taking too long, I would like to see the king instead."

"Alright. Other guards and servants in the palace will inform you when the princess is done or if she does not want to see you. You will see the king then, otherwise," said one of the guards.

They both opened the large doors that led inside the castle, and Ganondorf was awed by the sight of just the entrance of Hyrule Castle.

From where he was standing, it looked so incredibly grand in Ganondorf's vision, and possibly everyone else's as well. Once he stepped inside, he was awed even more by the glorious sights.

Obviously, Hyrule was an extremely wealthy nation. Again, Ganondorf hoped the Gerudo Village could end up somewhat like this one day.

He smiled once a butler led him to a waiting room filled with books and a roaring fire roasting in the fireplace. Ganondorf sat down on one of the large expensive-looking chairs in said room, and waited patiently for someone to come in sooner or later with information on if the princess was available to speak with or not.

And he clutched the Gerudo Sword tightly to his chest.

Link and the other guard eventually made it to the doors of Princess Zelda's chambers. The guard walked away and told Link to walk in there by himself, leaving Link scared and hopeless.

For someone like him who was usually the brave one, he couldn't comprehend why he was suddenly so scared now.

Then again, the princess's wrath was surely something everyone, even the bravest of all the soldiers in Hyrule or the strongest, was scared of and feared so much.

The rumors he heard around the town and from other trainees was enough to scare him this much.

And now here he was, about to be in Princess Zelda's very presence. It was horrifying for him, but he knew it had to be done.

But why did she even want him anyway? What good was he? He was just a simple trainee with a low income thanks to the captain of the trainees.

Slowly and timidly, Link opened the large doors that led inside Zelda's chambers.

It was a large room, Link did not expect that. It was also empty, the only pieces of furniture were two tables randomly shoved against the walls in the corner with flower vases (with flowers inside them as well) perched atop both of them, and the large golden throne in which the princess herself was sitting in. A large and long red velvet rug was also in this room, starting from the entrance door and ending at Zelda's feet, where there were tiny steps that led up to her grand throne. A giant and glorious chandelier hung from the ceiling, sparkling in the sunlight that crept into the room thanks to the six enormous windows in the room.

Link was awed for a moment, but the fear of the situation he was in now quickly returned to him once he came back to his senses.

He walked down the red velvet carpet, making sure his steps were perfect and not scraggly. He didn't really care what the princess thought of him, but he also didn't want to look like a fool in front of her either. For all he knew, she could be an extreme perfectionist in everything.

Once he made it down the large carpet and near enough to the throne so he could speak to Zelda clearly, he bowed down and hung his head down as well.

"Thank you for coming, Link," cooed Princess Zelda.

She knew his name already?

"Now stand up," Zelda snapped. "We have very, very important matters to discuss."
