Three girls and a Moose

Surprise!! Today is November 19th, and that means 1 year ago today I published 'Room 107' so today I wanted to do something for our special day. I just want to say thank you for reading and supporting - it really means a lot. I truly never expected for all of this to happen when I uploaded the book.

 Happy early Thanksgiving <33

March 23rd, Thursday

The bell had just rung for lunch as I walked down the stairs, watching Robbie put up the banner for the show he, Andre, and Beck were doing this Saturday.

"Tinkle-Aid," Robbie said, looking at the neon yellow banner before shaking his head as he stepped down the ladder. "..Perfect." He looked at Burf, "Thanks for all your help, Burf."

Burf nodded, "Sure thing. I think you're awesome." He smiled, before striding down the hall as Robbie watched him, amused.

"This Saturday night, Tinkle-Aid." I murmured, reading the banner. It was... show stopping I'll give him that, but I... don't think Tinkle-Aid was a good name for the benefit show.

"Uh-huh." Robbie murmured, as he turned around, smiling.

"Well, I don't know what it is, but I'm interested." Sinjin chimed, walking towards us after he entered the school.

"It's a benefit show that Andre and Beck and I are doing at Karaoke-Dokie." Robbie explained. "Y/n, Tori and Jade are going to sing backup for Andre and I, will be doing a magic show with Cat as my helper."

"Yep." I nodded, smiling.

"Ooh."

"We're gonna build a new boys' bathroom here at school!" Robbie grinned, gesturing to the air.

"Oh yeah! The girls have three bathrooms, and we only have two!" Sinjin remarked, looking from Robbie to me.

"Which is not fair!" He added, nodding in agreement.

"Yeah! It's time to flush injustice!" Sinjin exclaimed.

"Yep, you've got the Tinkle-Aid spirit." Robbie grinned.

"Good luck Rob." Sinjin said, clapping his shoulder as he walked by him. He turned around, "I think you're awesome." He pointed at him, before turning around. "Support Tinkle-Aid! Support Tinkle-Aid! Support Tinkle-Aid!!" He shouted, walking down the hall.

"Wow..." I murmured, as I watched him leave before looking at Robbie. I crossed my arms, "I'm not singing for something called Tinkle-Aid."

"Tinkle-Aid?" Tori asked rhetorically, as she and Andre walked towards us.

"Aw Robbie! We told you to call it guys for equal restrooms." Andre said, gesturing to the banner.

"That's boring." Robbie shrugged.

"Well, Tinkle-Aid is gross." Andre countered.

"Tinkle-Aid sounds like the world's worst drink." Tori pointed out.

"It's getting us a lot of attention." He said, before a group of girls walked by, reading the banner in disdain.

"Ewe." "Gross." "Disgusting." "Ick."

"Yeah.. I don't think we want that kind of attention." I uttered, shaking my head as I glanced at Tori and Andre shaking their heads in agreement. Robbie's arms came to rest at his side, as he sighed.

"So, this Saturday night I'm gonna be appearing in Tinkle-Aid?" Jade asked, as she and Cat walked down the stairs.

"Beck and I did not approve the name." Andre clarified, shaking his head.

"When my brother was little, he used to have a Tinkle-Ade stand." Cat giggled. "It was so cute. He'd sit there all-day yelling... 'Tinkle-Ade! Twenty-five cents a cup!'" She said, placing her hand on the side of her mouth. Did... she mean a lemonade stand? Please, please, tell me she meant a lemonade stand!

"I-I hope you meant he had a lemonade stand?" I awkwardly laughed, looking at her.

"...No." She laughed and shook her head.

I looked at my friends wide-mouthed, "Oh my God.." I whispered.

"Well, um... I'm getting kinda hungry. You guys wanna hit up Nozu?" Tori asked.

"Yess." I said, turning towards the door as Cat and Jade agreed.

"Yeah!" "Yeah, let's go."

"Oh, come on! We always go to Nozu." Robbie said, stopping us. "I want a hamburger."

"Yeah, I need some beef and fat." Andre chimed, rubbing his belly.

"Ewe." Cat murmured.

"Oh no." Tori quietly whined, rolling her eyes.

"Come on." Robbie protested.

"We want Sushi!" Cat exclaimed.

"No, we've had Sushi three times this week already." Robbie pointed out.

"Come on. Let's just go to Karaoke-Dokie and get a burger." Andre said. I really couldn't care less where we went, I just wanted food.

"We're going for Sushi." Jade declared, turning around towards the door.

"All right, fine!" Andre grumbled.

"Sushi at Nozu!" Robbie complained, as I turned around and gave them a sympathetic look.

"Hey." Beck said, stopping just beside the door.

"Oh, hey." I greeted, smiling as my heart jumped into my throat.

"What's up, Beck." Andre nodded his head up.

"Hi." Jade muttered.

"...You wanna come to Nozu with us?" I shrugged, gesturing to the door.

Since we had agreed to be friends, I had really been trying to just... be his friend. To not let myself just stare at him in the halls or grab his hand when we were walking somewhere. It had been almost a month since we broke up, and tomorrow, it would officially BE a month. It still felt weird.. and part of me was still waiting for us to get back together. But we weren't and I couldn't bring myself to accept the fact that we weren't going to. A month hadn't changed anything, I was still hurting every time I looked at him. So, that meant faking it.. until I just didn't have to anymore.

We were friends... Just friends.

"Oh, I can't." He slightly shook his head, "My friend Moose just got here from Canada."

"You have a friend named Moose?" Tori asked, amused.

He slowly nodding, "Yeah... I haven't seen him since Feeferdoon." His eyes widened. That had been a long time!

"Seriously?" I asked, surprised. How did they keep in touch?!

"What's Feeferdoon?" Cat asked.

"Oh, in Canada that's what we call kindergarten." He explained, after seeing their confused expressions.

"Wow, that's not interesting." Jade quipped, looking at the floor. I kicked her boot, not looking away from Beck.

"So, where's Moose?" Cat asked.

"On the roof, taking a picture of the Hollywood sign." He answered.

"Well, we're gonna be at Nozu if you guys wanna come join us..." I shrugged, as he looked at me. We stared at each other before we both looked away, awkwardly. Messing with his hair, Beck pointed at the staircase, "Oh, here he comes." He said, before going to meet Moose halfway.

"Oh, hey all." Moose greeted, coming down the stairs as we turned around.

"Sup?" Beck said, dapping Moose up as Cat and Tori gasped, all fan girlish.

"Hey." Tori giggled.

"Hi." Cat exclaimed.

Moose smiled at me, before glancing down at my hand. "Oh," I murmured surprised, when he gently raised my hand up and kissed it. "Hi." I slightly smiled, taking my hand back as I glanced at Beck. He looked between Moose and I, almost with daggers in his eyes.

"Hey." Moose nodded his head up, glancing at Tori, Cat, Jade before his eyes found me again.

"...Guys, this is my friend Moose." Beck looked at Moose, clapping his hand on Moose's back a little too hard as he looked to the floor.

"Yeah, we heard the first time." Jade snarled, looking at Beck.

"From fluff er-nugit." Cat grinned, twirling strands of her hair around her finger.

"It's Feeferdoon." Beck corrected, with a forced closed lip smile as he put his hands into his pockets.

"He sure issss." She grinned, walking closer as she shimmed her shoulders and poked Moose's belly.

"Uh, Moose, we were all about to go grab some..." Tori said, as she stepped forward. She snapped her fingers, grinning. "Sushi, if you wanna come."

"Um, I'm not into eating raw fish. I'm more of a burger and fries' guy." He replied, looking around the group as Tori gasped.

"Ooh, a burger sounds great." She exclaimed, wrapping her arms around her stomach.

"Wow. Girl sees boy, goes dumb." Jade said, laughing amusedly as she looked Tori.

"So great." Cat smiled.

"Let's go get burgers!" I said, JUST WANTING TO GET SOME FOOD INTO MY STOMACH. Moose smiled and nodded, watching as I turned around towards the doors.

"We can go to Karaoke-Dokie!" Tori suggested, glancing at Cat and Moose.

"Yay, beef and fat!" Cat yelled.

"I'll drive. Come on Moose and Y/n!" Jade looked back at me, a smirk gracing her lips as she glanced at Beck. I looked at her slightly confused as Moose stepped forward behind me, smiling at me.

"Come on, Moose." Tori shouted as she grabbed his arm and pulled him past me and slightly into Beck if he hadn't moved out the way as quick as he did.

I watched as the 3 girls left with him, Moose staring back at me as I looked at my friends. I glanced behind me at the boys, seeing them as confused as I was, all except for Beck. He glared at the doorway, before Andre broke him out of whatever trance he had been in by walking forward. He quickly joined, sending a glance at me as they walked past me and out the doors.

"Come on Rob." I said softly, readjusting the strap on my bag as he slowly walked forward. He nodded his head, as Burf came up beside him, handing him a yellow fake flower. Robbie looked at him, confused as Burf grinned, before running off. I quirked an eyebrow, amused as Robbie looked at me, a little puzzled.

Did Burf have a little crush on Robbie??

"Uh," Beck looked around, as we entered Karaoke Dokie. "There's no big tables, so let's just take two." He said, looking back at the group, gesturing to the tables.

I nodded, "We— I'll sit at that one." I pointed at the table nearest to the stage, quickly correcting myself. I looked back for Jade, nodding my head to the table.

Moose looked from me to Beck, pointing at the same table. "I'll sit at that one over there." He said, making Beck pat him on his shoulder and follow him. Well, I guess we were going to share a table afterall.

"Okay!" Tori nodded, as she and Cat rushed passed Robbie, Andre and Beck. I sat down on one of the stools, Moose quickly pulling the stool out beside me to sit on.

"I will too!" Cat exclaimed, pushing past Tori and Moose to sit down at the table.

With the seat open beside me, Robbie ran passed Beck who had been walking towards the table, pushing him aside. He sat down, forcing Beck to sit at the other table with Andre and Jade. What the heck just happened!?

Y'know here's a thought, why didn't we just push the tables together? To make one big table??

"Wow, Moose seems like a pretty cool dude." Andre said to Beck, gesturing to Moose.

Beck looked at the other table, his eyes not even on Moose. He nodded, "Yeah. I'm psyched to hang out with him... At some point," He looked at Andre, forcing a smile. "when I can actually sit with him."

"So, there I was, in the shower," Robbie story told, as I had zoned out, looking and listening to the other table. I looked at Robbie, "Just washing myself. And the name pops into my brain... Tinkle-Aid." He grins, nodding his head.

Tori laughed forceable, before looking at Moose. "So, you're from Canada, that's so... Northern and rugged," She wooed, leaning closer and closer to him before closing her eyes and smelling him. "and... You smell good." She swooned, looking into his eyes before letting out a laugh.

Moose stared at her, "..Thanks." He said, before looking at the table as Tori laughed.

"I love Canada." Cat spoke up.

He looked up, "Really?" He smiled, leaning onto the table. "What do you love about it?"

"Uh..." Cat stammered, as all attention had been put on her. "Hey, what is this, some kind of quiz or something? Ha ha ha ha ha. " She laughed, before placing both her hand on Moose's, not laughing anymore.

I'mm gonna be honest, I'd much rather be sitting with Beck, Jade and Andre rather than these love sick fan girls. I really just wanted to sit with Beck and Jade.

"So, what kind of burgers do they have here?" Moose asked, looking at me as he picked up one of the menu's.

"So, Saturday at the show," Beck said, unintentionally glancing at the other table, noticing Y/n and Moose talking over the menu. Y/n's hand pointed to things on the menu, occasionally glancing at Moose as his eyes stayed trained on her, not looking down at the menu once.

Andre stared at Beck, waiting for him to continue to talk. He followed Beck's line of sight, seeing Y/n and Moose. Andre cleared his throat loudly, sitting up to pull his shirt down to snap Beck out.

Beck turned his head towards Andre, his eyes not quite following yet. "Y/n, Tori and Jade are gonna sing backup for you?" He asked, looking at him.

"Mm-hum." Andre nodded, before looking at Jade. "Uh, Jade did you get the lyrics I sent?"

"Yep." Jade looked at him, before looking at Beck with a malicious smirk. "You seeing your friend and Y/n over there?" She asked, causing him to look at her with a glare as he messed with the complimentary starter.

"So, how long are you gonna be here in Hollywood?" Tori asked, resting her hands under her chin. "I mean," She grinned, "Assuming you don't meet a girl, fall in love, get married and live here forever!" She laughed, touching his arm before she stopped laughing. "No seriously." She said, intently looking at him.

She touched his arm, as he stared at her. "I just want a hamburger." He said, almost pleading.

"I love hamburgers!" Cat chimed, looking at him. I thought Cat was vegan!?

"I see a waiter." Robbie announced, looking behind Tori. "Server!" He yelled, clapping his hands before awkwardly laughing. "Over here, please. Over here! Server!" He said, as the man turned around, and looked at him, tiredly, before walking to the back unbothered. "I don't... I don't think he heard me." Robbie excused, when Moose looked at him.

"So, while you're here, what kinda things do you wanna do?" I asked, making conversation. Because if I didn't Tori would be planning their wedding, Robbie would be embarassing himself even more and Cat would be breaking her vegan code of conduct to appease Moose!

He looked at me, smiling slightly. "Well, I'm only here 'til Sunday..." He answered.

"Aww." Tori cooed, looking at Cat.

"Boo." Cat murmured, looking at Tori.

He glanced at them, before looking back at me. "But I was hoping to go see the house where they filmed my favorite scary movie." He smiled.

"Oh, what movie?" I asked. I mean, we lived in LA. It could literally be anything.

"The Scissoring." He answered, and my eyes widened. Not in surprise, but for what was about to come.

"Oh God." I muttered to myself, smiling sarcastically as I looked away.

"You're a fan of The Scissoring?!" Jade asked, standing in between me and Moose.

He turned around slightly, "Oh ya." He nodded, and Jade tossed Robbie to the floor, sitting down immediately.

Robbie hit the floor with a shriek and a thud, as Jade scooted the stool up. "First of all, I love that movie more than I love my mother." She said, as Robbie sat at the other table with Beck and Andre. "And I know exactly where that house is. I even know how to sneak in the backyard." She said, interesting Moose as he put his hand onto the table. She picked his hand up, looking at it. "Look at that hand. You must destroy gloves dude." She said, more admirable than flirtatious before putting his hand down.

Tori gasped, looking around as Jade looked at me, nodding her head towards Moose. "Uh, waiter!" She yelled as I rolled my eyes, shaking my head at Jade. "My friend Moose wants a hamburger right now!" She shouted, glancing at Moose.

"He's my friend, too!" Cat exclaimed.

"I remember when he was my friend." Beck said sarcastically, looking in between Moose and Y/n.

"You guys want me to take your order?" A pretty blonde waiter asked, coming up to our table.

"Hey." Moose said, leaning closer onto the table as he looked at her.

"Yeah, can we—" I said, looking down at my menu. Hmm so he likes blondes.

"No, we don't want you!" Tori exclaimed, making the waiter look at her.

"Where is the man waiter?" Cat asked, peering around the girl.

Tori stood up, gesturing to the waiter. "She's actually a convict..." Tori whispered, making Moose pull back.

March 24th, Friday

"You said... you'd be Robbie's magic assistant, right?" Andre said, looking at Cat as they stood on the staircase.

"Hey guys." I smiled, walking towards the stairs. I stopped just beside the railing, as Cat turned towards me.

"Have you seen Moose?" She asked, with a smile.

I furrowed my eyebrows, shaking my head. "Not since we saw him yesterday." I answered softly, gesturing to Andre.

"Okay, I hear me talking. Y/n hears me talking. How come you don't?" Andre said, pointing at me before looking at Cat. I shook my head, letting out a small laugh.

The door opened and Moose walked in, holding a red bouquet of roses. Cat gasped, grabbing Andre and I's arms. "Ooh, here he comes! Pretend like we're talking about something!" She said, pulling us to the middle of the hallway.

"We are talking about something, ya crazy redhead." Andre exclaimed, looking at her crazy.

"Hey, Cat." Moose greeted, walking up behind her.

She turned around, silently gasping. "Oh, Moose, hi. Who are those flowers for?" She asked.

He held them out, "You."

She took them from him, doe eyed. "Flowers for me?!"

"Yeah. I got your text that said..." He said, taking out his phone from his pocket. "Hi, Moose, it's Cat. Please bring flowers to me at Hollywood Arts immediately."

I furrowed my eyebrows, looking at Andre. I rolled my eyes, readjusting my bag.

"Aw, you're such a sweetie! Come on let's go show Tori and Jade the flowers you brought me and not them." She shook her head, taking his hand. They started to walk off, as Andre and I tried to make sense what just happened.

"Hey!" Jade said, from the top of the stairs as she came down them, wearing a bloody wedding dress from her favorite movie.

"Oh my Gosh." I sighed, shaking my head. I know she did not come to school, like that. How did she even know he was gonna be here!?

"I heard my name." She smiled, walking down the stairs.

"Jade, what are you wearing?" Andre asked, throwing his hands up.

"Is that..." Moose trailed off, pulling away from Cat.

"Oh yeah." Jade nodded, motioning to her dress. "This is a copy of the costume that Tawny Walker-Black wore in your favorite movie... The Scissoring." She nodded, smirking at him.

"Whoa." Moose stared at her in awe.

I cleared my throat, leaning towards her. "Um... question..." I whispered, as Cat tried to distract Moose. "What are you doing, I thought you liked girls." I deadpanned, as she smiled and stared at him.

"He likes The Scissoring and I'm still peed off at Beck because of stupid Alyssa Vaughn so it's operation make him miserable and steal his friend, now shut up." She hissed, continuing to smile at him.

"Okay than." I murmured, with a fake smile as I looked back at Moose. This, this was hilarious!

Cat looked between them, "U-uh, look Moose brought me roses." Cat showed Jade, before looking at Moose. "Did you bring any for Jade? No?" She asked rhetorically, "Okay."

I looked at Andre, completely gob smacked, mouthing 'What is going on!?"

He shook his head, shrugging his shoulders before stepping forward. "So, rehearsal. We were thinking we should meet...—" he said, as Jade and Cat stared at Moose. "We were, uh, thinking we should meet...—" He tried again, as they didn't spare him one glance. "We... Goodbye." He sighed, before looking at me. "I'll catch you in class Y/n/n." He said, sending me a nod before walking away.

"Bye Andre.." I said, watching him leave.

"And look," Jade grinned, holding up her scissors. "These are the actual scissors from the movie." She said, luring him closer.

"Oh my God, that is so cool!" Moose exclaimed, looking at them.

"I got her those for Secret Santa." I smiled, shrugging.

"You did? How?" Moose asked, looking at me.

"Well, you know that—"

"Hey, and look how sharp they are," Jade cut me off, butchering Cat's roses. They fell to the floor, leaving only the stem and wrapped bow.

Cat looked at the floor, "My Moose flowers!"

"Moose?!" Tori exclaimed, as she stood at the top of the staircase, her hand right above her eyes as she looked at him. "I didn't know you were gonna be here!" She said, walking down the stairs as she pulled and tugged at her Hockey jersey, making it painfully obvious she wanted him to notice it.

"I didn't know you're a hockey fan." Moose said, as Jade crossed her arms and rolled her eyes.

"Oh! Yeah, I-i've been a hockey fan for a long time. See," She turned around, showing the back of her jersey. "My name's on the back." She laughed, turning back around. "Ya can't have a shirt like this made overnight!"

Cat pointed at her, "You can so!" You can, and she did.

"You just go to that all night shirt shop on Western and—"

Tori turned to Jade, "Shut it!" She exclaimed, gritting her teeth. She turned back around, digging from her bag. "Lookie what I got..." She held up 2 tickets and waved them in front of Moose.

He stepped forward, completely in enthralled, "Tickets to tonight's Kings game?" He asked as Tori cheesed.

"Uh-huh!"

"Okay, she is not an LA Kings' fan!" Jade exclaimed, walking closer to them.

"She's faking!" Cat said, gesturing to Tori.

Tori whipped her head towards Cat, "Well, I am not faking!" She yelled, before looking at Moose. "I love hockey. I've been a Kings fan ever since they picked Anze Kopitar, in the first round of the 2005 NHL draft."

I rolled my eyes as Moose grinned. He pointed at her, "Yeah, that totally turned the team around."

"Right around!" Tori rejoiced.

"Hey, could you believe that triple overtime game last year against Vancouver?" He asked, as Tori bathed in his attention.

"So, you like my dress and my scissors from your favorite movie?" Jade asked, taking the attention off of Tori.

He nodded, as Cat grabbed something from her backpack. "Oh my gosh!" She said, as we all looked at her. "Who wants a hamburger?" She asked, holding the burger out to Moose. He stepped towards her, as she stared at him. "Mm, hamburger..." She lured, stepping away from him as he followed her.

I started laughing, "You guys are crazy!" I exclaimed, looking at them. Cat had a literal hamburger in her bag, Jade was wearing a bloody wedding dress and Tori actually bought hockey tickets to a tonight game... And it was all for Moose!

"Hey!" Tori grabbed his arm, "You wanna see how great our seats are?" She asked, flashing the tickets in front of his face. "We can go look 'em up on my computer!" She suggested.

He glanced at Cat, before looking at Tori. "Uh, sure." He nodded.

"Good!" Tori exclaimed, pulling him down the hall. "Let's go!"

"Uh, I-is Y/n coming too?" Moose asked, as she pulled him.

Jade scoffed, crossing her arms as we watched them leave, "Can you believe her, using hockey to try to get Moose to like her?" She grumbled.

"It's disgusting." Cat said.

"Well, I'm gonna come up with a better plan." Jade remarked, walking away.

Cat looked at me, "I need bigger hamburgers." She murmured, walking away.

I looked in the directions each of them left, completely flabbergasted at what just happened, before walking away myself. Wow.

"Hey. So, this show that you guys are doing tomorrow night..." The blonde waiter said, walking towards the stage, "It's really called Tinkle-Aid?" She asked, looking at the flyer, before grimacing.

It was later that day, and Tori, Jade and I were supposed to be rehearsing our song for the benefit show tomorrow night. But they never showed up, I had texted Tori like 3 times already and Jade, 4. This better not had been because of Moose. We had a time set for right after school and almost 2 hours ago when they asked if we could delay it, where were they? If they didn't come, then that meant Andre, Beck and Robbie were gonna change the show around, which means It wouldn't include Jade, Cat, Tori or even me.

The song we had prepared, needed 4 singers.

Beck looked at the floor, "I'm sad to say it is." He deadpanned, smiling sarcastically as Robbie smirked.

"We're raisin' money for our school, Hollywood Arts." Andre said, nodding his head as he walked out from behind the DJ booth, giving Beck the pearpad.

"So, we can get another guys' bathroom." Beck continued, before looking at the pearpad. She nodded as I stood up, walking towards them.

"I came up with the name Tinkle-Aid!" Robbie said, making her roll her eyes and walk away. "I was just in the shower, washing and...—

"Rob, Rob." Andre stopped him, gesturing to the waiter. "Can you not see she already walked away?" He asked.

"And no one wants to hear a story of you showering and coming up with a name." I said, getting tired of him telling that story over and over again.

He threw his arms up, "Well," He scoffed, looking at where she went. "If I stopped talking every time somebody walked away from me, I'd never have a conversation...—" He said, as we walked off the stage. "See?!"

"Ooh, there's a perfect table right over there, come on, Moose." Trina said, as he pointed to a table across the room, pulling Moose.

I groaned, making Beck look at me. "Ohh, why is she here!" I whined, before looking at the door, seeing Tori, Jade and Cat.

"Can we...—"

"Come on, Moose!" She yelled, cutting him off as I walked towards my friends.

"Looks like Moose-hogging runs in the family." Cat told Tori, making her look at her.

"Well, look who it is. The rehearsal skippers." Robbie quipped, as he, Andre and Beck came face to face with the Jade, Tori and Cat. Beck stood behind me, his cologne making sure I knew.

"You think of that one in the shower?" Beck asked, looking at Robbie.

Robbie shook his head, "No. It was a bubble bath." He grinned, before looking at girls.

"The three of you were suppose to be here tonight at seven..." Andre said.

"To help us rehearse for Tinkle-Aid." Robbie continued.

They glanced at the floor and each other, "Oh, big deal, so we missed one rehearsal." Jade dismissed.

"You blew us off last night too..." Andre told them.

"And today after school..." Robbie added.

"And tonight." Beck nodded.

"Well... We'll meet you guys' here tomorrow afternoon before the show!" Tori said, looking at them hopeful as she leant up on her heels.

"Yeah, we can rehearse the song..." Jade shrugged.

"And your magic act." Cat smiled.

"Don't worry about it." Robbie almost hissed.

"We changed the show around." Beck said, putting his hands into his pockets.

"So, we can do it without you." Andre finished, shrugging.

Tori's face fell, and she glanced at Jade. "You don't want me, Y/n and Jade to sing backup for you?" She asked.

"I did." He said,

Cat looked at Robbie, shaking her head. "You can't do your magic act without an assistant."

Robbie shook his head, shrugging, "Sinjin's gonna help me."

Burf slid in beside Robbie, "If Sinjin gets sick, I'm gonna fill in." He nodded.

Robbie closed his eyes, "Please wait in the magic cabinet!"

"We feel really bad that we let you guys down." Tori said, as I sighed.

"So do we." Beck conceded. I could tell by the tone of his voice, he was disappointed. He messed with his keys in his pocket, putting a hand on my waist to move pass me as he, Andre and Robbie left, and I watched them. Apparently, Moose had been asking Beck questions about me, which pissed off Beck. So, he was already not in a good mood. I saw that when he didn't even ask Moose if he wanted to hang out while leaving.

We were broken up, and 'friends'. So, why did it matter if Moose was asking questions about me and why did he get so mad?

"Hey..." Moose muttered, approaching us with Trina on his back, arms and legs wrapped around him. "I don't mean to be rude, but I really should go hang out with Beck." He said, looking at Tori before settling on me.

I nodded, "You should.." I said, with a double meaning. My eyes telling him he needed to fix whatever had happened between them.

Jade rolled her eyes, sighing. "Yeah.. whatever."

"We get it." Cat nodded.

He smiled, "Thanks." He said before turning around, "So, could someone get this girl off my back?" He asked, gesturing to Trina.

Trina started to shake her head, latching onto Moose. "NOOO!" She screamed as we each grabbed a arm or leg. "No, no! I don't wanna leave! I love him! NOO!"

"Trina, let go! He is not a teddy bear!" I exclaimed as she put her hands on his face, trying to shake us off of her.

"I'm gonna go in and say hi." I said, gesturing to Beck's house as Tori nodded, walking towards Beck's RV.

After we left Karaoke Dokie, Tori decided she wanted to apologize. Not to get back into the show, but because she felt bad for going completely girl crazy over Moose and completely stealing his time with Beck. So, I led the way to Beck's house, Tori only being here once... which is funny because she was apologizing then too. But for Jade.

I walked towards the front door, and knocked, nervously waiting for Beck's mom or dad to open the door. I hadn't been here in over... 2 months, which was very unusual seeing as I've been here almost every week at least once since Beck and I started to date. I was nervous to see how they would react when they saw me.

I leaned close to the peephole, seeing Beck's mom taking a quick look before she screamed. She quickly unlocked the door, opening it widely. "Y/n!" She yelled, "Oh my God, sweetheart." She exclaimed, bringing me into a hug as I smiled. She broke away and looked at me, "How have you been?" She asked softly, a sympathetic expression gracing her face.

I tried to smile, glancing at the floor. "I've been.. good." I nodded, lying. She gave me a look, making me sigh. "It's weird, and I don't like it." I admitted.

She nodded, "Come in." She said, gently pulling me into the house. "LEO, GET YOUR BUTT DOWN HERE! Y/N IS HERE!" She yelled, walking into their kitchen. "Do you want tea, sweetie?" She asked, looking at the tea packets she had.

"Oh, no. My sister's outside talking to Beck. Something about the benefit show for tomorrow." I nodded, sitting at one of the island stools.

"Ohh, yeah! Beck told me about that. Mm," She pointed at me, "Your sister's name is Tori... If I'm remembering correctly?" She asked, taking a wooden spoon and mixing the meat around in her pan as I nodded. "You know Beck also told me... you and him agreed to be friends..." She said quietly, glancing at me.

"Yeah," I smiled, "It was disrupting our friend group.. and we thought it was best for us.. in moving on." I shrugged.

"I understand," She nodded, "I was hoping things would work out between you two. You've been attached at the hip ever since I took you two to the mall." She laughed, making me laugh at the memory. She turned around, putting the spoon down before walking towards me. "Beck told me the reason you broke up... He's just like his damn father..." She sighed, rolling her eyes. "And you know which one I mean."

Beck's dad, Leo isn't his biological father. Beck's mom got pregnant with him when she was still in high school. Beck's father wanted no part of it the second he found out. 5 years later, Mrs. Oliver meets Leo, and he steps up as Beck's dad.

"I'm not excusing what he did. Boy knows he had an ear full of me and his father that night." She said, before placing her hand on mine. "He knows better how to treat women, especially a girl like you..." She looked at me, as I looked at the floor. "Y/n, it's not my place to tell you to forgive him.. or even try to get where you were before you started dating. But I want you to know.. he still cares. And this breakup.. it's affecting him too. No matter how unbothered or 'cool' he looks." She rolled her eyes. "He's scar—"

"Y/n/n!" Leon yelled, running into my leg.

I playfully gasped, looking down as I picked him up. "Leon! You've gotten so big!"

"Sorry, he," Mr. Oliver said, out of breath, as he came from around the corner, "He ran out... of his bed when he heard Y/n's... name." He explained, breathing heavily. "Hey sweetheart. How ya been?" He asked, giving me a side hug.

"I'm good." I smiled, nodding.

"Good, good. Give me a minute here and we can talk about that blockhead ex of yours and how you've really been." He held his hand up, going to sit on the couch.

Ms. Oliver cleared her throat, "You mean your son...?" She asked, shaking her head.

"Yeah, that knuckle head." He nodded, making me laugh.

"Binky!" Leon exclaimed, pointing out.

"You want Binky?" I asked, looking at him. He nodded, and I looked his parents for permission.

"Go ahead, he needs to say goodnight to him anyway." Mrs. Oliver nodded, "It's way past his bedtime." She cooed, looking at Leon before kissing his cheek as he giggled.

"Okay," I smiled, looking at him as he laughed. I turned around, going outside and out to their driveway.

"That I feel like Cat and Jade, and I got caught up in... Competing for you!" Tori said, looking at Moose as he and Beck sat in lawn chairs in front of Beck's RV.

"Competing for my what?" He asked, making Tori look away and shrug sheepishly.

"Your attention.." She answered, "You're really cute and large and..." She said, as me and Leon stood there, watching. "We just turned into a bunch of dumb girls, who wanted to be the one that you liked most... Which I know is so stupid." She shook her head.

He stared at her. "Uh, yeah."

Beck randomly glanced behind him, eyes widening when he saw me and Leon. He furrowed his eyebrows, getting up. "Hey.. what are you doing here?" He asked, glancing at Leon.

"Here for Tori." I answered, "Um Leon wanted to say goodnight." I smiled, bumping him up on my hip.

He stared at me, before nodding and smiling. "Oh," He gently took him as I handed the 2-year-old to him, Leon hiding his head in Beck's neck. "Goodnight, buddy."

"G'night Binky." He mumbled, wrapping his arms around Beck's neck. "I wove you."

Beck laughed, "I love you too." He said, pulling him off his chest so he could look at him. "Don't let the bed bugs bite." He whispered, making him laugh.

"Come on Leon! Time for bed baby." Ms. Oliver said, standing at the doorway of their house.

"Sleep good, okay?" Beck said, putting Leon onto the ground.

"I will!" He exclaimed, hugging my leg. "G'night Y/n/n. "You come back? Tomowwow?" He asked, looking up at me.

I glanced at Beck, knowing Leon didn't understand I wouldn't be around anymore. "Um, I don't know baby." I said, before squatting down in front of him. "But I promise I will come and see you again soon, okay?" I held out my pinkie, and he wrapped his finger around mine the best he could, nodding.

Beck ruffled Leon's hair, nodding his head towards the house. "Go to sleep buddy."

"Bye bye!" He waved, walking to his mama, before she picked him up, and looked at Beck and I.

"Hi Tori!" She said, making Tori smile and wave.

"Hi Mrs. Oliver!" She exclaimed.

"Boys, I'm making tacos, it'll be done in about 20 to 30 minutes." She nodded, "Y/n, hun, you know you're welcome over here any time! Beck still wants you o—"

"Bye mom!" Beck yelled, messing with his hair as he sat back down in his lawn chair.

She rolled her eyes, "Okay! I'm going. Bye Y/n." She smiled before turning around and going into the house.

"Bye!" I laughed, as Beck shook his head.

Tori sighed, sitting down on the arm of Moose's chair when we should've been leaving. "You liked me best, right?" She asked, looking at him, as Beck and I rolled our eyes. "I mean, not that it matters. But seriously, I won right?" She patted his leg, grinning at him.

"Hey, Vegas!" Jade yelled, as she walked down the sidewalk. "What are you doing here?" She asked, looking at me more than Tori.

"Winning!" Tori exclaimed.

Beck closed his eyes, shaking his head. "Oh my God." He winced.

Tori looked at Moose, patting him on his back. "Tell her, Moose! Tell her who's number one!" She urged, looking at Jade.

"Oh, he can tell me after Moose and I watch this, right now." Jade said, holding up a DVD as she glanced at Beck with a smirk.

"What's that?" He asked, slowly standing up.

"The Scissoring, Director's cut, with never-before-seen footage, including the scene where Tawny Walker-Black, eats meatloaf made out of her sister." She mused, just filling that poor boys' interests.

"No way!" He exclaimed, stepping closer to her.

I looked at Beck, my mouth slightly open as I just could not believe what they were doing! He looked at me, his tongue against his cheek as he shook his head. The more I stared at him, the more I noticed how tired he looked. Underbags under his eyes and his eyes were heavy.

"Hiii." Cat greeted as she approached us, and rolled something, making Beck and I look away from each other.

"Why are you here?" Tori asked, almost whining.

"And what is that for?" Jade asked, referring to the grill she rolled here that had ham burger patties actively grilling as Beck got up from his lawn chair.

"Oh, I was just uh taking a walk..." She lifted one of the patties onto her spatula, "And uh, cooking some hamburgers..." She answered, flipping the meat as Beck slowly walked towards them. "And, wow, here you all are! Does anyone like hamburgers?" She asked, before looking at Moose with her spatula in her hand and posing.

"Okay, I can't take this anymore." Beck looked at Moose, putting his hand on his back, "Moose... Which one of these freaks do you like better... Tori, Cat," He rolled his eyes, glaring at Jade. "Or Jade?" He asked, pointing at each of them.

"Tori." Tori coughed, looking at Moose.

"Oh, my lanta." I sighed, shaking my head.

"What?" Beck asked, completely over it.

She laughed, "I heard him say Tori." She shrugged.

"Well, he didn't." Jade shook her head.

"All I heard was the sound of my sizzling beef patties." Cat smiled, flipping her hamburger patties.

"Well, Moose?" Tori looked at Moose, leaning closer to him.

"Uh," He murmured, skipping past her "Look... No offense," He shook his head, "But I like Canadian girls." He said, glancing at all of them.

"Why?" Jade asked, rolling her eyes.

He gestured to Tori, looking at her. "They like hockey... You know, for real..." He said, making Tori stomp her foot and look at the sky. He looked at Cat, "They're bigger..." He muttered, making Cat look at herself, as he looked at Jade. "And they're just, less weird than Hollywood girls." He said, making Jade shrug and nod understandably.

"She didn't really want him anyways." I mumbled, making Beck laugh and Jade glare at me.

Moose looked at me, "And if I did... It would be... Y/n." Moose shrugged, making me whip my head towards him.

"Huh?" I asked, my eyes wide, completely dumbfounded. "You liked— You like me??"

He nodded, "Well.. Yeah, I thought you knew when I asked if you were single, and you said yes. A-and plus the lyrics in your song, said Canadian boy."

My eyes widened as he said that, making me look at Beck before looking at Moose, shaking my head. "Oh! I thought you were just getting to know me.. because you asked the waiter that too." I shrugged, "And you looked pretty interested in her." I nodded.

He shook his head, "She was alright, but your the one who got my attention."

I sighed, "And um look that song.." I glanced at Beck as he stared right back at me. "I.. was just playing around with lyrics... and you were my muse." I lied. I made that song for Beck to sing at the Full Moon Jam before we broke up. He couldn't know that now.

"Oh." Moose murmured, nodding. "Well, that's okay." He shrugged, "And plus, your Beck's ex. I know that now and I could never go for a friend's ex." He said, making me look at Beck who was still looking at me.

Tori nodded, "Well...I wasn't really," She shook her head, "that interested in you.. either, so." Tori stuttered, glancing between Moose and the ground.

"Yeah, really, I was just using you to get back at Beck. So," she said, patting Moose's back before she stepped back.

Cat wrapped her arms around Moose, squishing her face against his chest. "Well, I still want this." She smiled.

March 26th, Saturday

"So first, we're gonna entertain you guys with a song from...—" Beck said, a mic in his hand as he stood on the stage with Robbie and Andre, the benefit show just beginning.

"Hold up, wait!" I exclaimed, as Tori, Jade, Cat and I all ran into Karaoke Dokie.

"Wait, wait!" Tori shouted.

"We're coming up to the stage!" Cat said, as we rushed up to the stage and she gave the DJ our music, grabbing 2 more microphones.

After Tori and I came home after leaving Beck's house... we thought of ways on how to say sorry to them. Tori, Jade and Cat for missing rehearsal and not taking the boy's show serious and me, because I hated the way Beck was looking at me last night. I made that song for him, and I wanted him to know that. I couldn't tell if he was mad at me.. or mad at Moose, but either way he didn't like the way Moose was acting towards me.

I just wish Moose kept his mouth shut about the lyrics he accidently saw on my phone. Anyways, to apologize to the guys, we decided to take my song and make it about the boys, our LA boys.

"Don't sing yet!" Jade yelled.

Tori took the mic from Andre, turning to the audience as I grabbed Beck's, looking at him. "Hey, you guys!" Tori greeted as Cat joined us. "Uh... We feel really bad because we were supposed to help these boys with their show tonight..." She trailed off, gesturing to the boys.

"But we were lame." Cat said.

"And ended up skipping rehearsals." Jade added.

"Because we spent too much time chasing after a Canadian boy..." Tori continued.

"I didn't!" I exclaimed, making it known as I smiled at the audience.

"Who's insanely cute." Cat gushed.

"And liked me best," Tori muttered quickly.

"But, we're here now to say we're sorry to our LA boys." I said softly, looking at the audience before looking at Beck, gesturing to all 3 of them. They nodded, sharing glances as Beck avoided looking at me. I sighed, as Jade glared at him.

"So, go sit down. We're gonna sing you a song!" Cat urged, making them go down the small staircase, and sit at their table as the music started to play. They clapped their hands, as the room started to cheer and clap to the beat.

"Driving down Sunset on a Saturday night!" I singed, walking forward on the catwalk stage, before gesturing to the lights, "It's getting kinda crazy under the lights."

Tori stepped forward, bringing the mic to her lips. "But we don't care we're passing the time. Watching those LA boys roll by." She pointed at Robbie, Andre and Beck.

"In their tricked out drop tops shiny and new." Jade sung, smirking at the audience. "A hundred different flavors to vary your view." She looked at some girls in the audience.

"There's one for me," Cat singed, pointing at herself, before pointing at Tori as I pointed at myself. "And there's one for you. Watching those LA boys roll through." She looked at the audience, before we all walked to the end of the stage.

"Looking so hot down in Hollywood! You know they got, got the goods!" We singed together, turning towards each other. "So let's give it up for those LA boys!" We looked at the boys, pointing at them. "Riding the waves up in Malibu. They really get, get to you. So let's give it up for those LA boys!"

"Give it up! Give it up! You don't have no choice!" We exclaimed, walking down the stairs and into the audience. "Give it up! Give it up! For the LA boys." We looked at them, before walking towards them.

"Put your number in my phone." I singed, walking around the their table, as Beck snapped his fingers and looked at me. "Oh, maybe I'll call you, maybe not." I looked in between Beck and Andre, before smiling. "What ya doing all alone? Come and show me what you..."

"Got, boy show me what you got, got!" We all singed, before walking towards each other. "Boy, what you got, boy show me what you... Got!" We jumped as the audience cheered even louder.

"Looking so hot down in Hollywood. You know they got, got the goods!" We sung, going to the other side of the restaurant. "So let's give it up for those LA boys!" We ran to the end of the stage, sitting on the edges. "Riding the waves up in Malibu. They really get, get to you. So let's give it up for those LA boys!"

"Give it up for the LA boys!" We singed, going up on the stage as the boys stood up, dancing and clapping to the beat. "Give it up for the LA boys. Give it up for the LA boys. Give it up for the LA boys. Give it up for the LA boys. Give it up for the LA boys!"

"Let's give it up for those LA boys!" I finished, hugging Cat, Jade and Tori as we looked at our LA boys. The crowd erupted into cheers and whistles, clapping for us as we smiled. Robbie helped Cat from the stage as Andre helped Tori, and Beck held his arms out to help me. I bit my lip, tilting my head at him as I let him put me onto the ground, his arms going around my hips... in a very friend kind of way... of course.

"The Canadian boy was you..." I said quietly, after he set me onto the ground.

He nodded, glancing at the floor. "I know that now.." He replied, before smiling close-lipped at me.

"Wow, that was hot." Andre smiled, nodding.

"And very sweet." Robbie said softly.

Beck put his hands in his pockets, "Very cool."

"Thanks," Jade told them.

"Yay!" Cat cheered, making me smile.

"Hey," Beck said, furrowing his eyebrows, "Has anyone seen Moose?" Beck asked, moving his hair from out of his face as he looked around.

We looked around, not seeing him anywhere. "Uh... Um... No..?"

"Uh, it's getting kinda late. You sure this is the way to Karaoke-Dokie?" Moose asked, as Trina was supposed to be driving them to Karaoke Dokie for the Benefit show.

"Uh-oh..." Trina murmured, glancing at him as she pulled over, "The car's outta gas." She cut off the car, taking her hair out of her ponytail she had it in.

Moose looked between her and her gas tank gauge, "The gauge says you have a full tank—"

"Mhm." She murmured, grabbing his face and bringing it to her lips.

Moose pulled away, "Later can we get a hamburger?" He asked.

"You can have whatever you want baby." She cooed, grinning before pulling him back against her lips.
