"Taty baby get up." Janet rubbed taty back. It was taty first day of school. Toni and Janet got up extra early to fix breakfast and iron taty clothes. "Come on baby get up." Taty groaned and rolled over. Stretching her body she opened eyes.

"Good morning babygirl"

"Good-morning "  taty set up and rubbed the sleep out of her eyes.

"Where's your clothes? so I can iron it. "  taty pointed to her clothes folded on the dresser.

"Okay go take your shower and stuff so we can have you outta here by 7:15" taty nodded and walked in the bathroom.

Exiting taty room Janet heard Toni downstairs and it sounds like she was struggling. "Shit"

"Babe you sure you don't want me to do it ?" Janet yelled from the steps.

"I got it babe. That damn bacon popped me." Janet laughed. Walking into their bedroom she pulled out her ironing board and iron.

After ironing taty clothes she walked back inside taty room. "Here you go"

"Thank you" taty was in the mirror doing her hair.

Walking back out her room and downstairs Janet seen Toni fixing taty lunch it made her smile. Even though Toni was this hard gangster in the streets she's a gentle giant when it comes to her family especially her wife and now daughter.

Going into the pantry Toni grabbed all the snacks and brought them to the counter. "Toni she don't need all that damn junk."

"Janet she's a kid she's fine." Janet went inside the refrigerator pulling out grapes and pineapples.

"Here put some in those ziplock bags." Janet went to fix taty plate. "Taty your food ready" Janet shouted.

"Okay here I come."

"Babe did you put the supplies in her book bag?" Janet asked Toni.

"Yeah I put everything in there. Do she need an-"

"Good morning beautiful people "mama e walked in the front door.

"Mom what are you doing here"

"You thought I wasn't gonna see my baby off to school. Aww look at my babydoll." Taty came walking downstairs.

"Are you ready ?"

"Yeah I guess"

Taty sat at the island eating her food." what time they get out?" mama e asked.

"2:30"

pulling up to the middle school Taty saw all the kids and became nervous."okay this where we drop you off. you ready or you want us to walk you in?' Toni asked.

"I think we should walk her in babe"

"I think so too" mama e added. she wanted to ride along.

"I'm okay. what y'all think people gonna say when they see the new girl getting walked in by her umm uh parents." Janet smiled at her comment.

"okay well have a great day babydoll. I'll be out here when you get out."

"Here taty. Have a good day" Toni handed her five tens

"okay. Thank you."

"see you baby don't have ma-ma come up here to whoop anybody asses." Taty laughed jumping out the car.

Taty POV

This school was big as hell and predominantly black which was surprising. I walked straight into the office where I was greeted by two black older ladies I'm guessing they were the secretary's.

"Hi sweetie do you need help with anything?" I pulled out my schedule that Ms Janet printed for me.

"Yes. I'm actually new I just wanted to know where is Mr harter class?"

"Actually let me get one of our hall monitors" The older lady called on the intercome.

"Hi Ms flowers you called for a hall monitor" a lightskin girl walked in.

"Yes. We have a new student here and she needs help finding Mr Harter class. "

"Well I'm sevyn and that's actually my class so I'll take you. Come on"  I followed behind like a lost puppy. "What's your name?"

"Tatyana" she smiled."wow this school is big"

"You haven't seen the half of it." We stopped at a classroom. "Well looks like Mr harter not here. It's still breakfast time do you wanna go sit in the cafeteria or the auditorium?

"It dont matter "

"Okay well majority of our class is probably in the auditorium. I don't know if they told or if you did this at your old school but we switched classes but with the same people. Just different teachers." She giggled.

"Yeah we did that at my old school."

"What school?"

"Holland. It's on the southside."

"Oh the charter school. My mom went there." I smiled."are you hungry? We can stop at the cafe and you can bring your food in the auditorium."

"No it's fine I ate before I came." We approach the auditorium filled with loud ruckus. Kids laughing and throwing things.

"Well this is our class. At 7:45 the bell rings and that's when we go to our homeroom which is Mr harter than we gym than it's lunch next is Mr yoon which is our math teacher than our last class is English with Ms brown" I looked down at my schedule while she talks but I didn't have Ms brown.

"I actually have Ms McCoy for English." I showed her.

"Oh okay you're in honors English. That's right across from Ms brown." I was hoping my old school transfer my test scores for me to be in honors.

"Hey sevyn. Who's this?" Two brownskin girls approached us.

"This is Tatyana she's new and she's also in our class."

"Ouuu yay newbie. Hi I'm cam and this is Savannah" they both smiled and wave." So where are you from?"

"The southside I went to Holland."

"Ohh okay. So what are you into? Do you like art, dance music. "

"Girl your talking her ear off" said Savanah. We laughed.

"I'm sorry "

"No it's fine. To answer your question I like drawing and comic books and I love musicals. "

"Ouu you like musicals? I'm president of the drama club you should sign up." Said Savannah

"I don't know I'm more of the behind the scenes type of girl" we giggled.

"Oh Savannah Tatyana has Ms McCoy last block too."

"Okay well you can seat with me. Don't worry bout Ms McCoy she's an easy going teacher. As long as you do your work you're good." I nodded my head. As we talked two boys came up to us.

"Let a nigga bite your butt." They sung.

"Move." Sevyn pushed the taller one back.

"Who this?"

"This is Tatyana she's new"

"Wassup tatyana I'm Kai " he stuck out his hand and I shook it.

"Boy get away from her." Cam moved him."nobody got time for your little girlfriend." The bell rung"come on let's get to class."

"So taty who's your homeroom." Kai asked.

"Uh mr harter"

"That's wassup. You wanna sit with me?" He put his arm around me.

"No she don't. Bye boy" cam jumped in between us. "Girl stay away from the leach." I laughed.

" cam you cockblocking" he yelled.

Walking into the class I saw a tall white husky man writing on the white bored I'm guessing was Mr harter.

"Come on guys come in and sit down. "  he turned around and smiled.

"Mr harter this is Tatyana. She's new." Savannah said.

"Oh yes Tatyana Braxton right?"

"Correct"

"Okay welcome to science. sit anywhere you like"  I nodded and sat with next to sevyn, Cam and Savannah.  "So today we're gonna learn about the ecosystem." Too easy.

Toni POV

"BABY" I called out for Janet. Since taty was gone and my mom was taking a nap I thought it would be good time for me and Janet to get down and dirty.

I heard her footsteps come closer to the room. "Yes baby"
"What you was doing sexy?"

"Nothing just finish drinking my tea. Wassup you need something?"

"Come lay down." She took off her leggings climbing on top of the bed crawling towards me.

"2:15 come let's get up" Janet slowly got up by the way she was moving j can tell her legs were sore from our activities. "Babe lay down I'll go get her"

"No I'm fine. Can you get me some pants from out the closet please " I walked into her closet picking on a pair of grey leggings my personal favorite on her.

"Here" I handed them to her as she giggled. "What?"

"I knew you were gonna pick these. Freak" I laughed.

"That ass so fat" I poked at her butt while she slipped on her pants.

"Stop" we laughed until we were rudely interrupted by a knock at the door.

"Bro" I opened it up revealing my mother. "How may I help you"

"I was just making sure y'all was up now let's go so we can pick up my baby." I rolled my eyes "and stop rolling them eyes in the back of that head Michele " I heard Janet giggle behind me.

"Let's go papa"

Walking downstairs my mom looked at us and shook her head"what?"

"By the way Janet walking I know I wasn't hearing things. Y'all just couldn't wait to be nasty. Let's go"

Pulling up to the school it was packed. The kids haven't been let out yet. We still had two minutes.

"What you want for dinner tonight" Janet asked while looking at herself in the mirror.

"Ouu Janet can you make that Cajun Alfredo ?" Mama asked.

"I believe she was talking to me but can you make Cajun shrimp Alfredo" Janet chuckled.

"Sure babe. Oh here they come" we saw kids and staff members exiting the school "oh there she is" Janet pointed I hunk the horn to get her attention but she was busy chatting up a storm with three other girls.

"Look at her making some friends." She finally spotted us and came to the car.

"Hey guys" she jumped in the car smiling.

"Hi Ma-Ma baby" they hugged.

"Hey babydoll how was your first day." I drove around the other cars I was not waiting in that long ass line.

"It was good i met these girls we have a lot in common and they're really nice. "

"Really? Did you guys exchange numbers"

"Yes."

"What about your classes do you like them?"

"Yeah they were easy. For this school to be better than the southside district they're surely behind. They also put me in honors English."

"Ouu honors English. Your a smarty pants definitely didn't get it from Toni." My mom joked.

"Mom you finna walk back"

"Leave my baby alone mama." Janet reached over and rubbed my face. "Your smart baby"

"Thank you sexy" we approached a red light. I reached over and peck her lips. We heard taty gagged and mama laugh.

"Taty how you feel about Cajun shrimp Alfredo for dinner?" Janet asked.

"That's good. Can we make cookies after ? Please"

"Sure Cookie Monster." That girl love sweets just like Janet. That's all they do is bake dessert.

I pulled in the driveway and opening up everyone doors.

"Ms Janet are you okay why you walking like that?" I chuckled causing Janet to cut her eye at me.

"I'm good baby just had a Charlie horse earlier."

"It was horse alright." I said lowly but my mom heard me and smacked the back of my head.

"Anyway you got any homework babygirl?"

"Yeah I'm bout to get started on it."

"You need help? " I asked

"No it's only ten problems. I got it" she smiled and ran upstairs. "Call me when dinners ready"

"Okay. Toni come help me with dinner" I sucked my teeth.

"Baby i wanted to play the game. Ask mama she ain't eating for free"

"Girl shut your yellow behind up." My sat back on the couch cutting on the tv.

"Your mom is a guest toni "

"A Guest thats getting too comfortable." My mom stuck up her middle finger."How bout I play one round"I followed her in the kitchen.

"Fine go play your game I'll tell you when it's done" she said nonchalantly. I knew she was upset.

"No baby I'll help you. But can I play later?" I got behind her rubbing up and down her thighs.

"Yes now go take the shrimp out." I smacked her ass causing her to yelp.

"Please" she look back at me. I pecked her lips. "Thank you."

Taking out the shrimp my phone rung and Janet picked it up.

"Hello"  Janet put the phone on speaker.

"Hey sissy is my mama at y'all house?" It was Tamar.

"Yes she is."

"Why is she not answering her phone? Does she not care about her children?"

"What do My big grown children want?" Mama walked into the kitchen.

"Well I wanted to see what you was doing ma'am but never mind. Anywho sissy what you doing?"

"I'm cooking Alfredo. You wanna come over for dinner?" I look Janet in face with a stank look. Don't get me wrong I love my sibling but they are annoying and greedy.

"Yes girl me and Trina on the way." Janet hung up the phone.

"Toni why are you so mean."

"I'm not mean. They got food at home and so does their mother." We laughed and got started on dinner.

"Hello beautiful people " Tamar loud ass came through the door. "Ouu it smell good up in here. "

"You're right on time. Food just got done. Babe go get taty." After taking the garlic bread from the stove I walked upstairs.

"Tatyana " I knocked on her door before entering.

"Come in."  She was laying on the floor playing on her iPad.

"Foods ready. Did you finish your homework? "

"Yes. All ten questions. "

"Good. Come on let's eat."

"Auntie tay! I knew I heard your voice." Taty said walking downstairs.

"The whole neighborhood heard her." Trina came walking out the living room

"Girl shut up. Hey pooh." They hugged. Taty and Tamar are kinda close in age so I knew she would attach to her sooner than my other sibling.

"Hey auntie tri." Trina hugged her before getting pushed off by Tamar.

"Move girl she don't know you."

"That's enough yall two. Come eat." Janet fixed everyone plates while I got the cups and drinks.

"So taty how was school?"

"It was cool. I met some girls their nice they showed me around and stuff. "

"That's good. Remember what I told you if somebody fuck with you call me. I ain't scared to fight kids. "

"But you can't fight. Remember that girl was bout to beat your ass in the McDonalds parking lot and we had to come over there and help you. All cause you wanna talk to her boyfriend."

"First off she wasn't bout to beat me up her and them fake ass gross sisters came over there like they was finna jump me so I had to get my sisters and only Toni helped me. "

"We helped you."

"No yall didn't you and towanda try to keep us from fighting talking bout some 'yall come on let's just go' like some punks."

"Well sometimes violence is never the answer." My mom chimed in.

"Mom please. When we got home you was talking bout."did yall whoop their asses' " we joked around for the rest of the dinner. When we were done taty immediately ran in the kitchen and pulled out the cookies.

"Ms Janet can I make the sugar ones too?" Taty yelled from the kitchen. The rest of us were in the living room watching some black movie my mom put on.

"Yes baby. They're yours anyway."

"Babe" Janet came in sat on my lap. She must want something." So I was thinking we should do Christmas in the mountains."

"The mountains babe? Black people don't go to no mountains." She gave me a stern look." I'm just playing but where tho?"

"Cheyenne mountains. Look they have beautiful cabins with a spa and ski slopes snow tubing. oh my god baby they have a mini North Pole. Please baby." She gave me those puppy dog eyes. Even though I was gonna say yes regardless.

"Of course baby we can go. Let me call Jason let him know he'll be flying to Colorado."

"Already did." I looked at her as she smiled.

"What if I said no" she looked up from her phone staring me dead in my eyes.

"You know better."

"You're lucky you're sexy." I wrapped my hand around her throat pulling her into a nasty kissing. Sticking my tongue in her mouth completely forgetting there were guest until I was hit with a throw pillow.

"Stop being nasty. " my mom said."dont y'all see that baby in there." Taty wasn't paying us no mind.

"She not even paying us any mind."

"Well we are so stop."

"Or yall can go home" 

"Babe stop. " Janet kissed my cheek." Meanie pants"

"Okay the cookies are done" taty brought two party dishes one with chocolate chips cookies and one with lucky charms sugar cookies. "Let me get some napkins."

"Y'all let's watch best man holiday." Tamar suggested.

"Ouu yeah can we watch that." Taty came back with napkins.

"Um what you know about best man holiday?" Janet asked grabbing a cookie.

"I watched the first one I had the dvd but I never seen the second one." She shrugged.

"Well yes we can watch it. Put it on Tay" I picked up a throw blanket putting over me and Janet. Taty laid on the floor as usual while my mom and sister sat on the other couch across from us. During the movie taty got up on the couch with my mom and sisters. I love how quickly she attach on to them. Shit I think she likes them more than me. We haven't told Janet family yet Im waiting for Janet to tell them but I'll give her time. I wonder how they'll react?
