"Baby stop for Tatyana come down here." Janet giggled. Toni was sucking on Janet neck in the kitchen. Taty was upstairs getting ready to go with Janet to Traci Salon. They were getting silk press. "Toni stop for you give me a hickey" Janet pushed Toni away."let me get some tonight" Toni smacked her ass.

"No you cannot. " Toni leaned back looking over Janet body."stop staring Toni. You're starting to drool" Toni laughed and stepped back behind her.

"You just dont want me to mess your hair up. It's okay you know I'll get done." Toni began sucking on her neck again.

"No. That's not it. It's just what if she hear us. You know I cannot be quiet. Toni stop"

"Yeah you start screaming when I hit that." Toni started humping Janet. "Spot"

Janet started giggling while Toni kept rubbing against her." Well maybe you can-"

"Ms Janet I'm ready" the couple jumped apart nervously.

"Uh did I interrupt something? y'all look nervous " Janet nervously laughed while Toni rubbed the back of her neck.

"Um no. no you didn't. Come on let's go " Janet grabbed her belongings and followed taty to the door.

"Damn bae no love?" Janet turned around and peck Toni lips twice while taty stood in the doorway. "I love you"

"I love you too" Janet closed the door and her and taty got into the car.

"Have you ever gotten your hair straightened before?"

"Yea. When I was younger I used to go to the Dominicans. Lucy's on greenwood but they close down."

"Oh wow I used to go there until I met Toni and her sister started doing my hair and I found out they were sneaking perm in their conditioner."

"Wow really?"

"Yeah one of my homegirls told me and then other people started talking bout it. That's probably why they shut down"

"Can we stop somewhere and get some to eat. Please?"

"You read my mind. What you want? It's a chic fil a up here a Wendy's and a krispy krunch up the road."

"chic fil a is fine." Janet nodded and headed up to chic fil a line ordering her and taty food.

Pulling up to Traci salon taty and Janet got out the car throwing their stuff in the trash that was on the curb.
"Hello, Hello" Janet open the door seeing Traci and Trina sitting at the front desk. "Hey sissy. Hey lil mama.Whew look at all y'all damn hair. Chile I'm gonna be here all day."

"Well this is your profession " they laughed. "Okay what y'all doing today."

"A deep conditioner and silk press both trim. That's good with you taty."

"Yes. That's fine"

"Okay lil mama you first baby. " Traci walked her over to the shampoo area and started her hair. "Trina you ain't here for free. Start washing Janet."

"Uhhhh come on Janet "

"Don't get mad at me." Janet push Trina shoulder. Trina laughed turning on the water. "All this damn hair"

After getting their hair washed and sitting under the dryer for thirty minutes Traci and Trina were rinsing taty and Janet hair. "Trina blow Janet hair out. I'll straighten it." Taty sat in Traci chair."let me know if I'm hurting you okay?" Taty nodded. The music played in the background while the ladies got their hair blown out. While Trina was finishing up she noticed two red marks on the side of Janet neck. "Janet I know your grown ass is not sitting up here with a damn hickey like some 16 year old girl." Janet hopped up and looked in the mirror covering up her neck.

"Traci look what your sister put on Janet"

"A hickey? Yeah I seen when she came in here." Traci said.

"Ah hello thirteen year old in the room." Janet said. Taty slightly chuckled.

"Oops sorry."

"It's okay. Plus I seen it when we were in the car." Janet gasped and covered her face. While everyone else laughed.

Meanwhile Toni was at home in her office making a few phone calls.

"Wassup T"

"I need you to listen to me and listen to me good."

"Imma be laying low for a little. Don't know how long but I am. I need you to be my eyes and ears. My eyes and ears only. Do you understand me. I still run shit. This is my city. I need to know what's going on in my city. I'll be checking in every now and then. Can you get the job done?"

"Yes sir I can."

"You'll call this number when it's important. Important only." Toni guy knew what she meant by that.

"Okay got it. What you laying low for?"

"Some personal shit. Family shit"

"Damn what you cheated on auntie j "

"Nigga no. Y'all young jokers so dumb. That's the first thing that come out y'all mouth is cheating. I'm a grown ass man that's married to a grown ass woman fuck I look like cheating. Fuck off my phone nigga." Toni hung up the phone picking up her personal phone to text Janet.

"What y'all doing?" Not even a minute later Janet texted back.

"I'm getting my hair my hair straightened and styled now. Taty done. What you doing? "

"Sitting in my office. I'm bout to do a Instacart order what y'all want?" Janet put down a few things even letting taty put some stuff down too which was mostly fruit snacks and cereal.

"Rd I got y'all"

"Btw you gave me a hickey and everyone saw it." Toni laughed at the message but she didn't care who saw it.

"Well shit. Let me give you some more tonight "

Back at the salon Traci was finishing up Janet hair. Taty was already done staring in the mirror. " you like it lil mama?"

"Yes. Thank you. My hair gotten so long" Traci applied some hairspray to Janet hair and took off her cape. "You done boo"

"Thank you baby" Janet stood up and flick her hair in the mirror she was definitely feeling herself.

"Y'all look so cute. Let take some pics " Traci took a couple of pics of their hair for her instagram.

"Alright we gonna head out you know how your sister is. Thank you trac"

"Y'all welcome see y'all later." Janet handed Traci and Trina a couple of bills and walked out with taty. "You like it?"

"Yes. Thank you " taty was smiling so heard. It's been awhile since she got her hair done.

"No problem babes. Okay let's get back to the house so I can start cooking " taty eyes lit up.

"Ooh what you making."

"Well whatever you guys want. I was thinking barbecue chicken, Mac and cheese, rice , yams and cornbread."

"Mmh that sounds so good."

"Well then that's what I would cook"

"Wait what if toni don't want that"

"Child she'll eat a rock if I cook it" they laughed.

Janet and taty walked in the house hearing Toni rapping loud lyrics.

"I bet she got them damn AirPods in." Janet said closing the door.

Walking in the kitchen they saw Toni putting up groceries bopping her head to the music in her ears.

"BABE" Toni jumped at the sound of Janet voice.

"Looks who's back. Aww y'all look nice. You like it taty? It's looks cute."

"No problem." Toni looked over at Janet and bit her lip. "Damn you look sexy as fuck"

"Really toni." Janet plucked Toni.

"Yes really. you look good. " Toni grabbed Janet and hugged and kiss all over her face while Janet laughed. Taty looked at them in aww. She never seen people love each other so much. In her mind this only happens in movies. Taty grew up thinking love is someone hitting on you then buying you gifts afterwards. For the past couple of days taty has been hoping the test results come back positive because it's like heaven over here she didn't want this to end.

Janet POV

"Okay Toni move" after moving Toni I seen she had a pack of chicken. "You put chicken out? What you tryna eat"

"Well what I want isn't appropriate " Toni mumbled but i still heard her.

"Sorry. I was hoping y'all want some barbecue chicken with Mac and cheese. I was thinking bout that all day."

"Well great minds think alike cause that's exactly what taty asked for today." I smiled at taty who was sitting at the island in her own little world."okay well let me go wrap my hair and I'll get started on cooking. Babe can you clean the chicken for me?"

"Yeah I got you babe." I went upstairs leaving them two downstairs.

Walking back downstairs I hear taty laughing. What's so funny?. "What you laughing at?" Taty was lying on the living room floor watching proud family."baby why you laying on the floor."

"It's comfortable " she giggled.

"Well okay. " I walked into the kitchen seeing Toni cleaning the chicken."baby I'm gonna make some yams too."

"Okay i can do them while you season the chicken." I smiled at her. This is one of the things I loved about Toni she never treated me like 1950s housewife, she does not mind cooking or cleaning. "Baby you already put the noodles on? Damn you wasn't doing no playing"

"Shit I'm Hungry as hell" I giggled and started cooking.

"Wait no " she almost clicked on it but I stopped her. I was so nervous.

"Okay I'm sorry go ahead open it" Toni clicked the link that led us to a federal website. It showed taty and Toni name and below it a chart. "I thought this shit was gonna be like some Maury shit they got all these damn SATS words"

"Let me see" not saying my baby is dumb but I definitely have the book smarts in this relationship. "Baby It's paternity inclusion. 99.99%"

"So that means"

"Yup" it was silent for a minute. I honestly didn't know how to feel about this but there's nothing I can do but stick beside her and help her raise this child.

"Baby the Mac and cheese and cornbread should be done." She took out the food sitting on the stove.

"Baby I'm sorry"

"Toni there's no need to be sorry baby. This is god plan. We just gotta sit back and see where this adventure takes us. I love you" she pecked my lips twice.

"During dinner" I looked over at Tatyana who was still enjoying her little show. I guess this is life now.

"Taty you ready to eat?"

"Yes" she turned off the tv before walking down the hall to the bathroom.

"I'll make the plates."

"No go sit down I gotchu." I went to sit down at the dining table followed by taty."taty you want everything?" Toni yelled from the kitchen.

"Yes please."

Toni came in holding all three of our plates. "Here y'all go "

"Dang this plate hot. How did you pick them up without any mittens on?"

"Mind over matter." Taty and Toni giggled.

"Mhm" they both groaned.

"This is too good." I laughed watching taty stuff her face.

"Damn baby you did your thing."

"I try" it was silent beside them two smacking like cows.

I glanced over at Toni who was staring at me. I nodded my head giving her the okay. "Taty how would you feel if you were to be my kid?"

Taty look in between us while swallowing her food."I would hope so. You guys are pretty cool and I like it here." Toni pulled out her phone handing it to taty.

"Oh that's cool. Excuse me right quick." She ran down the hall. Me and Toni looked at each other confused. Till we heard an exciting scream. Yup she's definitely Toni's child. "What the hell." Taty came back and sat down.

"I take it as you like the news."

"Yeah it's cool" this girl is something else.

After we were done eating me and taty were finishing cleaning up the kitchen while Toni was in the shower. "Ms Janet can you wrap my hair before I get in the shower?"

"Yeah baby let me get my stuff and I'll meet you in your room."

Walking upstairs into the room Toni was walking out the bathroom looking fine as hell. "Take a picture it might last longer"

"Shut up." We laughed

"What you bout to do?"

"I'm bout to wrap taty hair then take a quick shower"

"Well when you done I need a little help."

"With what?" I bend down looking in my vanity cabinet for Bobbi pins.

"With this" I felt Toni on my back. She made it jump cause me to moan.

"Okay I gotchu daddy." I laughed walking out the room into to taty.

"Yes"

Toni POV

I was laying down in the bed waiting for Janet ass to get out the shower. When she say quick she mean an hour. I flipped through the channels then I hear the shower go off. Hell yeah.

Five minutes later Janet came out oiled down with her little nightgown on. "Sup sexy" she smiled and climbed in the bed I immediately flipped her over her bad. "Toni you bet not mess up my hair I'm not playing."

"Baby I gotchu. All you gotta do is just lay here"

"You said that last time then you flipped me over and I woke up looking like I was on an episode of soul train."

"Baby shh" I started kissing on her neck damn she smell good. "Mhmm baby right there" that's the spot. We were so into it until we heard thunder and rain cause the power to go off. "Fuck"

"Let me go check on taty"

"Baby she probably sleep. Come on let's keep going"

"Let me just check on her first." When Janet got up a knock came to the door. "Hold on" Janet reached over for her robe putting on. Opening the door it was taty with a throw blanket.

"What's wrong taty?"

"I'm scared. I don't like thunderstorms. Can I sleep in here?" God damn it.

"Aww come on baby" janet pulled taty in closing the door. "The power gonna come back up in the morning." She nodded and climbed in the middle. Janet kissed my lips and laid down while I laid on the other side of taty. "Goodnight guys "

"Goodnight" me and Janet said in unison. My little family.
