Toni POV

"Taty you almost ready?" Me and taty was out going to run errands. Janet left early this morning to do I don't know what actually.

"Here I Come" It's been a little over a week since we found out taty was actually mine and everyone was so happy especially my mom she can't shut up about it she call everyday just to ask what taty doing so the first thing we doing today is buying her a phone, But she don't know yet.

Taty came walking downstairs humming a song. She so random. "Okay I'm ready." I locked up everything and got in my truck. "Where Ms Janet go?"

"I don't know she went to run some errands she should be back by time we get home."

"Okay so where we going" I pulled out the driveway pulling off.

"Well first we gonna go pick your birth certificates then we gonna go enroll you to the middle school up here. "

"Okay"

"Dang she talk to much " me taty we're finally leaving the child center from getting her papers and ms brown had a mouth on her.

"I know right. I thought she was gonna give us the paper and send us on our way." We laughed. " you hungry"

"Yeah a little "

"Okay. Pizza cool?"

"Yeah" I drove up the road where I knew a good pizza place. The best on the southside. Plus I'm cool with the owners I used to stop here all the time as a younging.

"You had bambino's before?"

"No But everyone used to talk about it. like the old heads. "

"Old heads? You calling me old?" She laughed

"Man bambino's been around since the 60s. They got the best pizza on the southside. I spent half over my young days in that restaurant. I ain't have them in a grip tho." I pulled into the lot seeing shit still didn't change there was still a seven eleven next store and a liquor Store on the other side with bums drinking their life away in the front.

"I know that's not Toni " we walked in and was met with mama Rosa the owner wife. "Oh my god it's Toni honey it's Toni " she came around the corner giving me a big hug. "I know that smile from anywhere. Where have you been? You still running these knuckle heads"

"I'm always around just not visible. I live on the north side now but you know this my city I ain't going nowhere." She smiled at me.

"TONI RONI" Mr franky came from the back loud as ever. He was like my Italian pop pop or something. "What's sup how you been?"

"I been chilling."

"Tell me something did you ever marry that fine dime piece? " when I first met Janet I would bring her here cause that woman love some pizza. Franky would always say how we were gonna end up marrying eachother.

"Just celebrated five years."

"What I tell you. You see I called it Rosa. Who's this young Lady?"

"Hi I'm Tatyana. Toni roni daughter " this girl is a clown.

"Wow she your twin. So what y'all want today it's on the house."

"On the house my ass you know I got you. I want a chicken cheesesteak with peppers that's it"

"Still the same ole Toni and what you want little lady"

"Just two slices of plain and a water."

"Coming right up. Go sit at your usual table like old times." I lead taty to a table near the back that was my table and everyone knew it back in the day.

"Here y'all go" the waitress brought out our food.

"Wow this look good" taty eyes lit up. Now this girl love food.

There wasn't that much talking just smacking."so taty. Are you okay with living with us you didn't really say much after that night "

"Well I'm not good at showing my emotions I always was taught to hide them so I apologize for that but I can ensure that I'm excited. " she smiled "how do you guys feel about it?"

"Well we feel good about it. Scared? Yes. So all we asked is to be patient with us."

"Understandable. So why don't you guys have children?"

"Well Janet lost one. The baby would've been eight then we tried again two years ago and nothing ever happened so yeah....."

"Oh I'm sorry I didn't mean... I'm sorry for asking."

"No,no you're fine." It got silent. I can tell she felt some type of for asking that question. "Well guess what after this I gotta a surprise "

"A surprise? What type of surprise? "

"A surprise " we laughed and finished our food. Shortly after we left the restaurant now we're on the way to the mall.

"Ouuu the mall." Taty squealed. Yup her and Janet definitely gonna give me a run.

"What stores you wanna go in ? The surprise come last"

"Okay" we ended up in pink, Macy, H&M , Nike, and forever 21.

"Okay I'm done."

"Okay. The Apple Store is right up here." Her eyes lit up

"Oh my god. Am I getting a phone?" I smiled and kept walking.

"Hello. Am I getting a phone"

"I don't know " I chuckle and walked into the store.

"Hello welcome to Apple. Can I help you with something or you're just browsing?"

"I called earlier. The order should be under Braxton " the girl typed in her iPad.

"Okay the iPhone 13 Pro Max and the two iPad pros?" I heard taty gasp behind me.

"Yes and can I see y'all cases too?"

"Okay let me go in the back and get your things" the girl walked away.

"No way you're getting me a phone. An iPhone at that. Thank you so much."

"Why wouldn't I ? You're bout to start school and we're gonna need to call you plus you're a teen you can have a phone." I say.taty just stood there smiling.

The girl came back with multiple cases and our electronics."here you guys go."

"Pick out which case you want." She picked out a light blue case for her phone. "And for your I pad too"

"That's mine too." She exclaimed.

"Yes it's yours "

"Thank you. Uh I'll pick this one." She picked up a blue and white outer box case.

"And for the other I pad let me get that red one." This one was for Janet. I can't leave the mall without getting her something.

After she was done we left out since I already paid online. Now we're bout to head back home. Getting in the car I pressed the call button on the staring wheel.

"Call wife" it rung two times before hearing Janet's voice.

"Hey baby"

"Wassup Ma we on our way home. Are you there yet?"

"Yeah I just came back in the house."

"Okay you want something while we out?"

"No I had a slice of pizza."

"We did too. We went to bambino's "

"Oh my god. Really ? How are they doing? I got to go see them."

"He asked about you too. They doing good it still look the same in there too."

We talked for a little before hanging up. Taty was on the side obsessing over her phone. I shook my head laughing.

"Taty wake up. We home." I got all her things out the car while she opened the door.

"Babe"

"In here " Janet came walking out the kitchen with these Nike shorts on and a white tank top. Good god.

"Hey guys. Damn taty. What you get ?"

"Uh a couple sweatsuits. Some underwear, perfume, sneakers, a couple of t-shirts and some cute cartoon pajamas. Oh and an iPhone and IPad"

"Oull did you set it up yet?"

"No I need the wifi. Where is the box?"

"It's in my office on the side of my desk." She ran down the hallway into Janet office. I sat her bags by the stairs.

"I got you something" she jumped up and down like a little kid.

"Ouuu what you get me." I pulled out her iPad

"Aww thank you baby. " she kissed me.

"No problem. You know I couldn't leave the mall without buying my baby something."

"So what you do today." I followed her inside the living room.

"Well I went and got my feet done.you like?" They were red.

"Mhm of course. They'll look better if they were on my shoulders." We laughed.

"Then I went to get a wax"

"Ouuuu let me see" I reached for her shorts but she pushed my hands away.

"Later nasty."

"Okay I'm done. I'm gonna take my stuff upstairs. Thank you guys." Taty said.

"No problem." She walked upstairs."now back to you. Let me see that shit." I reached for her shorts this time she didn't stop me. Pulling them down I stared at it. It was so perfect just beautiful and smooth. "Let me take you upstairs right quick."

"I don't know babe I'm kinda loud and taty up." Without saying anything I picked Janet up taking her upstairs to the bedroom.

"I'll be back." Walking to taty room I knocked on the door before opening it.

"Come in." She was laying on the floor watching something on her tablet.

"Why are you on the floor?"

"It's comfy "

"Okay well do you need anything me and Janet bout to take a nap."

"No im fine. I pretty much know where everything is."

"Okay good" I smirked and walked out. Walking back into our bedroom I seen Janet laying on her stomach looking at tv."you minds well turn that shit off." She laughed rolling over to her back. Walking over to the bed Janet sat up on her elbows giving me her little innocent look but ain't nothing innocent about her. Man she bout to get it.

Taty POV

After setting up my tablet and phone I decided to go downstairs to make a snack. I can't believe I have my own phone. The house was quiet so Ms Janet and toni must've been still asleep.

I looked in the freezer seeing that there were pizza rolls. I popped them in the air fryer and sat at the island until they were done. While I was sitting at the island I heard the front door open. "Tamar dont make me slap you. Stop girl."

"Mom it's not that serious."

"It's quiet in here. Were they at? Oh hey taty"  Ms eve- I mean Ma ma and Tamar walked in the kitchen.

"Hey."  Ma Ma came up to me and hugged me. "Where's Toni and Janet?"

"Uh Toni said her and Ms Janet were gonna take a nap. That was like thirty minutes ago."

"Yeah they taking a nap alright."

"Tamar"

"Sorry. Your hair looks cute taty" I smiled.

"Thank you." The air fyer beeped meaning my pizza rolls were ready.

"What's that?"

"Pizza rolls?" Ma Ma made a face.

"Uhn uhn baby they didn't feed you.let me go wake their asses up." She walked upstairs before I can even say anything.

"TONI AND JANET GET YALL NASTY ASSES UP AND COME FEED THIS BABY SOME REAL FOOD."

"NO ITS FINE. I wanted this " I giggled.

"Girl don't mind her. She's very old school she really not used to the microwavable food." We laughed.

Soon after I heard foot steps coming down the stairs.
"Taty why you ain't tell us you were hungry?" Ms Janet asked.

"I'm eating pizza rolls. I'm fine."

"Mama you stopped us from doing you know what, she said she's fine."

"Aht ahn. My baby needs real food."

"Taty are you okay with that or you want us to cook something?"

"I'm okay honestly." I giggled.

"Why are y'all here anyway.?" Toni asked pulling ms Janet in her lap.

"We were in the neighborhood."

"Mom" Tamar said sternly.

"Fine. Both of y'all weren't answering the phone for me to talk to taty so I dragged Tamar out her room to drive over here."

"Well I just brought taty a phone so you can have her number."

I pulled my phone out unlocking it. "Here Ma-Ma what's your number" grabbing my phone she put her number In. I sent a text so she can save mines.

"When you start school tat?" Tamar asked me

"Next week."

"Are you excited?"

"I guess so."

"Well one of them little girls fuck with you call me cause I look closer to your age than Janet and Toni. I'll fuck them up."

"You cannot fucking fight." Toni said.

"Ok" I giggled. I threw my food away and cleaned up my mess. "Ma-Ma wanna bake some cookies?" I asked. I see she was putting a lot of effort into getting to know me so why not.

"Aww baby of course. Aw I'm bout to cry." They all laughed.

"Well what about us?" Ms Janet asked.

"Oh I'm sorry y'all wanna-"

"Nope we're having a moment go back and do what y'all was doing." I was cut off by Ma-Ma. Ms Janet and Toni laughed and went up stairs.

I took out the chocolate chip cookie while Ma-Ma washed her hands and took out a baking sheet. Tamar sat at the island scrolling on her phone. "You wanna help us?" I asked Tamar.

"Sure" she smiled. Since I was her officially her niece I needed to know what to call her. "Um do you feel comfortable with me calling you auntie? Or to soon"

"I don't mind boo. Even though we can pass as sisters" we laughed.

After putting the cookies in the oven auntie tay decided to put on a movie i think it was called five feet apart.

"Okay pumpkin I think the cookies done. I smell them"me and Ma-Ma walked in the kitchen to check on the cookies.

"Toni get off of me" i heard Ms Janet say coming down the steps. "You wasn't saying that earlier." Looking back at the cookies I seen that they were done. "Ouu them cookies smell good." Toni said.

"You guys can have some." I told them.

"After they wash they nasty hands"

"We clean. we just got out the shower."

Everybody got their cookies and me and Ms Janet put Ice cream with ours. Walking in the living room everyone took their seats while I laid on the floor.

"Baby why you on th-"

"She's comfortable that way." Ms Janet and Toni said at the same time. I looked up and smiled at them earning it back.

"Taty baby get up Ma-Ma and auntie getting ready to go."Ms Janet shook me softly. I must've felt asleep during the movie.

"Alright babydoll I enjoyed you. I'll see you tomorrow."

"No you won't lady" Toni said.

"Well can I come over to your house?" I asked. I really enjoy Ma-Ma.

"Oh of course baby I'll come get you tomorrow. See you babydoll" she hugged and kissed my cheek.

"See you. See you auntie."

"Later taty" they opened The door to leave but was stopped by Toni's voice.

"Damn what about us ?"

"Oh my bad bye my big babies." They smiled and walked out the door. I love it here.
