Present Time

The day was rather peaceful in the Lumiose City. Misty is standing in their balcony looking at the clouds. She chuckles thinking about the time she spent with Gary and the future she will have with him.

Misty (in mind): Sometimes it feels like a dream that he confessed to me. He just changed me in so many ways. He taught me to be polite and caring. Well it wasn't like I didn't care about anything or anyone earlier. But I was always missing something and he showed me it was a heart. Earlier it was nothing but a game but then between the lines I really fell in love with him. (smiles)

Someone opens the door and hugs her from behind.

Gary (pecks her cheek): What were you thinking?

Misty (leans back in his touch): Nothing just the past.

He turns her around and kisses her forehead leaning on it afterwards.

Gary (soft voice): Don't worry love nothing will break us apart. 

The Past

Misty had always been a cold-hearted girl. She was just so beautiful that many guys confessed to her during her high school and elementary school. She either replied with a simple 'No' or 'Get lost 'nothing less and nothing more. Until one day when she got an unusual confession.

The scene took place on the rooftop with Misty having an emotionless face and Gary a bit nervous but determined to make the Ice Princess His.

Gary (nervously): I have liked you for a year now. I swear that I will make you the happiest girl in the world. You are the definition of perfect to me. Your eyes, your personality everything seems so magical to me. So will you please be my girlfriend? Please.

Misty (straight face): No and you can get lost.

She was about to head towards the door when a hand grabbed her hand making her stop and she turns around.

Gary (looks in her eyes): I am okay with you not loving me but at least give me a chance. Let me be your boyfriend for 3 months and if nothing changes between us then I will never disturb you again. I promise. So please give me a chance. (determined)

Misty (almost faint blush): Tch..Fine but only 3 months. And let me make this clear- Do not try to do anything funny with me or else you will wish you were dead.

Gary (smiles ear to ear): Thank you thank you so much. I promise that I will not do anything out of the line.

Misty (faintly blushing): Let me go now. The class is starting soon. 

She pulls her hand from him and goes downstairs.

Gary (in mind): Just wait missy I will make sure to make you mine. (fistbumps the air and leaves)

The Next Day

Misty was walking quietly from her house to the school when she felt a tap on her shoulder.

Misty (turns back): Who in---Oh it's you.

Gary (grins): Yup your first Bf.

Misty (rolls her eyes): Whatever.

Gary (walks beside her): So what do you like? Like your favourite food, color, etc?

Misty (looks at her phone): Do I have to answer that? Like seriously.

Gary (jumps in front of her): Yup you do. Now tell me Pleaseeeeee.

Misty (moves past him): Not interested.

Along the way to the school and in school as well Gary tried his best to make her talk but she either ignored him or replied with a 'not interested' reply. But that didn't mean the boy loses his hope., he keeps trying.

At Night

Misty's POV 

Misty (in mind): He is so annoying! Uff why did I even agree to this again? But at least he won't bother me after three months. Well too late to think about it now. Better go to sleep. (lays down on her bed)

The Next Day

Misty was walking to the school like every other day but today she was secretly wishing that the boy won't disturb her but she loses the single hope on feeling the tap on her shoulder again. She turned around to find that happy smile again.

Gary (beaming): Good Morning My Lady. (bows)

A slight pink color appeared on her cheeks again but it went off as quickly as it came.

Misty (walks ahead): Just walk or we will be late.-------Oh and by the I like orange.

Gary (a question marks appears on his head): Huh.?

Misty (rolls her eyes): You asked my favourite color right? It's orange and favourite food is pasta.

Gary (goes beside her): Thank you so much My Lady. (takes her hand and starts running)

Misty (surprised): W-what a-re y-you doing?

Gary (looks back): Making sure that we won't be late.

But the strange thing was that she didn't mind the idea of him holding her hand like that. She rather felt warm with his large hand covering her comparatively smaller one.

The first month went by quickly for them. Misty talked to him only when they were alone but she never went too deep in the talks neither she initiated them with him.

The Next Month was also much like the last one but this time her attitude changed a bit. She made some friends and talked to her classmates occasionally. Noticing the sudden change in her, her older sisters became curious to know the reason behind it. So one day they decided to follow her on her way to school. They found a boy of her age (Misty's) talking to their little sister. For the first time after their father left them they found their little sister to be so happy though she did her best to hide it. They wanted to know more about the boy but they knew that asking Misty would be useless so they just waited for the right moment.

Right now the boy known by the name Gary was sitting in front of the three sisters while they smiled generously at him and he looked at them a bit nervously.
