In the Evening

Ash wakes up from the long nap they took and look beside him to find his angel still sleeping peacefully. He brings his hand to her forehead and gently pushes the hair coming to her eyelids. He starts to caress her face lightly to not to disturb her. After looking at her face a little more he slowly lifts her hand which was above the sheet and kisses it softly. He holds it for a few seconds and sees the bandage around her finger. He sighs sadly and keeps the hand back inside the blanket sheet. He grabs the big teddy from the table beside his bed and keeps it close to her. She dives her head in the fluffiness of the soft material and smiles still sleeping. He takes a last look at her and goes to the washroom to clean his face. He then decides to cook for them and goes downstairs after taking his phone from the charger. He goes in the kitchen and looks out of the window to find the weather clear now. He open the groupchat and asks for everyone to be online in an hour.  

Ash's POV

Let's start from the start. I kept feeling like I must not leave her but did that and the outcome was the worst I could imagine. Next is I don't know what she saw to make her faint like that. The walk was clearly only 10 mins going and 10 mins coming back which makes it hard to believe that I I took 45 mins to come back home. (he looks at the clock and then his wrist) The time is same again. But I remember that after I came back the time here was 25 mins more later. This is getting insane now. I thought staying with her will do the trick but it sure doesn't seem to be the case anymore. I should probably find out his story and why is he doing this. There must be a reason to it. (looks down) Ohh it's ready. Time to get my sweet lady up. 

Ash puts the food on the dishes and brings it to the bedroom slowly closing and opening the door of it. He puts the dishes on the table in front of the window and then goes to her. He pecks her cheek making it slow and lingering. She slowly starts to open her and he pecks both of her eyelids after she closes them.

Third Person's POV

Ash (pulls the sheet of her shoulder): Sleepyhead wake up now. (smiles) I made us some dinner. Washup first and then let's eat together. 

Serena nods her head and goes to washroom to clean her face and rinse her mouth. 

Serena (taking the towel from behind the door): Ash I think there is something on the mirror in the washroom. Did you forgot to keep your face down while washing it? I think you got some of the wash on the mirror. 

Ash (sits on the chair beside the table): I will check it later sweeties. Now come here and let's eat.

Both of them eat in silence which breaks occasionally when they look at each other and smile. They both like the fact that they could enjoy even the silence between them. It feels very comforting to know that you don't always have to talk to make the person feel good. Sometimes quietness can be expressive in its own ways.

After dinner Ash insists on cleaning the dishes but Serena beats him to it and ask him to just sit on the kitchen counter if he is worried about her. He reluctantly nods and gives her a peck on the temple. He takes his phone realising that it was about to be the time when he asked all of them to be online. 

In the chat

Ash: Guys something happened today and I can't explain all of it in the chat. I need you guys to be here in an hour so that we can discuss it and also bring the girls with you. Make sure to tell them to pretend as if you all just decided to hangout at our place. 

Gary: Okay Ash.

Drew: Okay.

Clemont: Sure.

He exits the group chat and sees Serena close to him.

Serena (wipes some sweat from the forehead): I feel all sweaty again. I will go and take a shower first. 

Ash (smiles): Sure baby. Ahh just a minute I will first clean the mirror you were talking about.

Serena (pouts): Okay.

He goes inside the washroom and makes sure to lock the door to not let her in. He switches the light on and looks at the mirror. He gapes at it but makes sure to not to let a single sound out

On The Mirror: Stay away from her. She is gonna be mine. (in blood)

Ash (keeps his hand on his forehead): She would have been terrified if she had the lights on at that time. (sighs quietly)

He quickly cleans the mirror and checks if there was anything else wrong in the washroom. After his futile inspection he leaves the washroom and sees Serena sitting on the bed. On hearing the voice of the she looks at him and raises her right eyebrow.

Serena (with an amused grin): Took you long enough. (gets up and moves inside)

Ash (brings his hand to his eyes and speaks in a hushed tone): I need to stay calm or she will feel worried. I can do this

After Serena showers both of them go to the living room and watch a comedy show.

(Door bell rings)

Ash (gets up): I'll go and check.

He opens the door and looking at their worried faces he gives them a half smile letting them in one by one. 

Serena (shouts): Who is it Ash? (about to stand up)

May (goes to her): It's us Sere. (both of them hug) 

All of them start making themselves comfortable in the living room and tries their best to pretend to look as if they are barging in for a hangout for real. After all of them sit down and then they start looking at each other unsure of what to say.

Drew (coughs): By the way I have some news. (everyone turn in his direction)

Gary (keeps his chin on Misty's head): What? (Misty pokes him on his cheek)

Drew (holds May's hand): We are together. (looks at her smiling)

May (blushes scarlet and looks down): Ye-s. 

All of them look them as if they are shocked but in reality all of them already knew it will happen at some point. 

Serena (claps her hand): I knew it. She liked you too long for you to not to notice. (winks at May)

Ash (smirks): You too Drew. Sometimes you were so obvious. (laughs)

May and Drew (look at each other confused): Were we that obvious?

All of them sweat drop at their reaction and the atmosphere lightens. After a little more chitchat, on receiving the signal from Drew, May asks the girls for a girl's talk. All of them nods and leave the space and go to the first floor leaving the guys by themselves.

With The Guys

Ash (checks to see if they are all gone and then looks down): So this is what really happened. (tells them the whole story). So what do you think we should do next? I don't want to lose her. (looks at all of them one by one)

Drew (pats his head): Ash this isn't time to be worrying only now. We should look for solutions now. (looks at Gary)

Gary (puts his face on the back of his hand): How about going for the history? I mean people coming back from death only happens when there is a tragic accident about it right? And we can also consult the priest while we are at it.

Clemont (with big eyes): That's a great idea Gary. In the library around the luminous building there is a section for books in which only those books are kept which contain tragic cases of death. It also contains books related to special death cases that is if they were the cause of something rather supernatural.

Ash (nods): How about tomorrow then? We all go out together and the girls stay with her. I think it will be okay if she is not alone. It's too late right now and will seem unusual if all of us go out together at once.   

All guys: Okay

Gary (stands up): Sure. I and Clemont will go to the library and you and Drew can go to the priest. How does that sound?

Drew (stands up): That sounds good. Ash I will take my car for it. Just tell her that you are going with me.

Ash and Clemont stand up as well and they all bro hug each other.

Gary (yells): Misty can you please come over?

Misty (on the last stair): Yeah?

Gary (holds her hand): Let's go now. Ask the others to come down as well.

Misty goes upstairs again and after a few minutes all of them arrive one by one while still talking.

Serena (stands beside Ash and looks at everyone ): Are you all going already? How about we all play something together.

Gary (puts his arm around Misty): Na not today, we have something to do today. (looks at Misty)

Misty (nods): Yeah, we have something to take care of.

Clemont (smiles): I have to go and have dinner with Bonnie. She must be waiting for me.

May (holds both of Serena's hands together): Next time for sure.

Dawn (nods): Yup for sure.

Serena replies with an okay and all of them leave together. Ash and Serena waves at everyone while watching them go one by one. The guys later explain everything to the girls while on the way. 

Dawn (looks ahead while nodding): She must have been so afraid. I am so glad it's okay for now.  

Misty (stops walking and clutches Gary's hand tight): I hope this is soon over.

May (clasps her hand together): I just want them to be happy.

They, almost silently, reached their homes and were quick to rest early as tomorrow for sure would be a long day for them. All of them hoped that it will it will end soon and Ash and Serena will be happy.

With Ash and Serena  

Ash closes the door and both of them finish their show before heading of to bed. Ash noticed how tired Serena which isn't normally and became worried. She shushed him off by kissing him suddenly and soon they were both on the bed and slept soundly. 

Next Day

Third Person's POV

Ash was the first to wake up today and saw that his princess is still in deep slumber and chooses to fresh up and makes breakfast for both of them. He kissed the crown of her head and slowly pulls away himself trying his best to not wake her up. He stands back, looking at her  dive deeper in the covers. Sometimes he has no idea why is he so lucky to have such an adorably girl as his girlfriend. He smiles thinking about the time they used to talk even though it wasn't too much before they got together. But thinking about it makes it seem like just yesterday that both of them met and now they are here. He shakes his head and leave to go the bathroom followed by him going to the kitchen to cook. He looked at the message that Drew sent him saying that he will be there in an hour. Well that's enough for him. Done making the breakfast, he goes back the room.

Ash's POV

She really looks like a cute rabbit sleeping like that. But as much as I want to let her sleep, I can't be doing that now since I need leave. Let's wake her up then. (nods his head)

Third Person's POV

After a little nudging from him, she wakes still squinting her at the bright light coming from the windows. 

Ash (leans and kisses her nose): Good Morning Love. (leans back) I made the breakfast for us. Do you want to have it right now or later?

Serena (sits upright and stretches): I will be done in 10. Can you bring it here please. I don't feel like going down right now.  (yawns and stands up)

Ash (smiles and hugs her): As you say My Baby. (leans back and leaves the room) I will be back.

After finishing their breakfast, both of them bathed in separate bathrooms and Ash told Serena that the girls will be here as they wanted to watch a movie with you and that he will be going out with Drew but will be back before sunsets. She found it a little weird but let it go anyways thinking that it must be something urgent. After sometime, as he said, the girls were here as they all came with Drew and Ash left but before going pressed a lingering kiss on her lips and told her to take care. Serena beamed at him and told him to not to worry too much.

Misty: Okay okay you should get going now.

May (hugs Drew): You should be careful too. 

Drew (kisses her forehead): We will be. But be careful yourself too.

Both of them leave and the door gets closed by Dawn. 

Dawn (turns): Shall we start then?

Misty (puts her arm around May and Serena): It's a girls day.

May and Serena laughs and they make their way to the living room.

The ride was quiet except the small talks they made and the jazz music they put on.

At the church

Drew (parks the car): Let's go

Ash nods and they leave the car to head up to the gate. Entering inside, they realised the church looked very empty today. But Ash's eyes caught the sight of the blond girl sitting on of the front benches as they made their to her and Ash pats Drew's shoulder to draw his attention to the girl.

Ash (smiles): Excuse me Miss. Would you happen to know where the priest will be?

?? (smiles): Yes he might be in the church. Shall I take you two there?

Ash (still smiling): Thank you so much. By the way, The name is Ash and he is Drew (points at him) Nice to meet you.

Drew (smiles): Hey, Nice to meet you.

?? (smiles): I am Korina. It is nice to meet you two too.
