Next Day

Morning

Third Person's POV

Serena woke up before Ash and went to help his mother with the breakfast. They cooked and Delia asked her to make a coffee for Ash and wake him up. Serena made the coffee and took it to his room. 

He was still in his dreamland. She kept the mug on the table and started shaking him gently. Slowly he opened his eyes and quickly moved himself into a sitting position. But he didn't realize that the way he was sitting, his face was only mere inches away from her face. He quickly backed away and apologised. She replied," It's okay. Don't worry". She gave him the mug and after he had finished the drink he complimented," Today it looks like mum's mood is good because the coffee is really delicious this time". To this she replied," Maybe or maybe not".

The rest of the day went good. Serena had been on good terms with his mom and also read books with her. She also played with Alice(Ash's younger sister) a lot. 

In the evening they had planned to go to a park. 

So at 5 o'clock they sat in the car and went to the park. There Alice wanted to play with her father, Delia found her friends and went to them and Ash was taken by some of his friends too leaving Serena alone. 

Serena was just walking when she realized that someone was talking in a really low tone but it was was quite aggressive as well. She went towards the sound and form the corner of her eyes she saw Ash with a girl. Ash looked quite furstrated there

Ash: Listen we can be friends but nothing more than that. Is that alright with you because I don't dislike you but we can't be more than friends. Okay?

The Girl: Why just why? No one loves you the way I do don't you know?

Being the clumsy girl she is Serena put her foot on a leaf and they saw her. 

Ash (a bit loudly): Hey, It's not like what you are thinking.

The Girl (grinned while looking at her): Yes it is like that.

She took Ash's hand and pulled him towards her and kissed him on his cheek. Serena felt hurt and ran away from there. Ash freed himself from her grip and sprinted after Serena.

 But Serena had reached his parents and stayed around them till it was time for all of them to return. She was quiet in the car and Ash too was silent for the whole time. 

As soon as they went inside his home Serena locked herself in her room. Ash's parents got worried and asked Ash about it. But he didn't tell them the truth and went to Serena's room and knocked at her door. 

She asked him to go and leave her alone but he was not going to do that. Ash thought of going from the balcony door but that was locked too. He sat in the balcony waiting for her to open the door. After about an hour she opened her balcony door and saw Ash sitting on the floor beside the door and he looked like he was sleeping. 

It was cold that night so she brought a blanket for him but as soon as she reached his chest to cover him she was pulled by his hands. Again their faces were only inches away. Ash pleaded," Please let me explain".She sighed and replied," Alright say what you have to say" Ash told her everything and she apologized for being mean to him and assuming things on her own. 

Both of them went inside her room and went sit on her bed. They felt so sttracted towards each other that no one could stop from staring at each other. But this time Ash's hand grabbed Serena's cheek. They were leaning closer until Derek shouted asking both of them to come downstairs. Their eyes widened at what was about to just happen and blushed. They quickly collected themselves and went to the ground floor. On the sofa Ash's parents were sitting. Delia asked Serena about what had happened to her. To which she replied that she was only feeling a bit low because she had a headache. Derek asked her if she is okay now or need any medicine or something like that. To this she replied that no she was alright. Ash and Serena then went their rooms until their parents called Ash again. They gave him two bowls filled with chocolate ice cream. With them he went to her room and gave her the bowl and sat on the chair beside the study table while she sat on the bed facing him. They again chatted for an hour till they ran out of topics. 

They went to the balcony and stood there for some time along with the gentle breeze and the twinkling stars. When Serena was about to move towards her room Ash grabbed her hand. She asked," Do you have something to say?" He nodded his head in disagreement. But she knew that something was not right so she grabbed his hand too and they stayed like that for some more time. 

Then suddenly Ash held Serena by waist and pulled her towards himself. She murmured," What are you doing?"He asked her to be quiet and pushed her towards one of the closed door so that no one could see them. He made his hand grab her waist more tightly and moved his lips towards her neck. Serena kept on staring at him with a little blush covering her cheeks and wide eyes, without uttering a word though she had too much to say. But then he suddenly stopped and pulled himself away from her. 

He mumbled a low sorry but Serena was not able to hear it so she just saw him moving towards his door, closing it and then switching the light off. She also did the same shortly and with a sigh went to sleep.

Ash's POV

What did I just do? Ahhhhh What if she hates me now? I must control myself. But seriously what is happening to me? But her smell I really love it. I want it. I must be clear to myself and to her as well or it will hurt us. I'll talk to Clemont about this and then we will see what is gonna happen.
