At Misty's House

The girls are cooking in the kitchen while the boys are in the living room discussing matters.

In The Kitchen

Misty: Pass me the salt please.

Serena: Here.

Misty: Are you okay Serena?

Just as the question is asked the blond lets a sigh leave her mouth and she smiles again while looking at the orange head, a smile dancing on her delicate lips.

Serena: Well it would be a lie if I say that I am feeling okay but to be true I really am tired of it and wants to get rid of it as soon as possible.

Misty: Don't worry it will be over before you know it.

Serena: Hope so.

The girls turned silent with a mutual feeling of companionship between them, either knowing the value of the other.

The dinner was rather quiet with Gary making occasional daddy jokes and Misty trying to shut him up. The other couple ate their food in complete silence. The silence was not of fear nor was awkward but different from any they had experienced. There was tension lingering in the air.

As soon as the heavy time of midnight was about to come all the windows and doors were closed.

In Serena's and Ash's room

Serena was sitting on the bed while Ash had gone for a shower.

Serena: (in mind) What should I do? The person I love is going to be in danger because of me and here I am sitting on the bed as if nothing is wrong. I know I must be strong but still everything seems so difficult that---- (sobs)

Ash: Sere what's wrong?

Serena: A-Ash? (She quickly tackles him in a hug ) (sobs)

Ash: Shush everything is okay. I am here with you.

Serena: (crying)

Ash: Everything is fine. Don't feel upset about anything. (while he draws circles on her back and hugs her her)

Serena: (holds back her tears) Hmm.. (more tightly hugs him) Why is your scent so intoxicating?

Ash: S-Serena?

Serena: No, call me by the nickname you gave me baby.

Ash: Sere are you okay?

Serena: Was never better. (turns him around, pushes him on the bed and hovers over him) Well aren't you a hotie!

Ash: Serena what is wrong with you?

Serena: Why can't I have some fun with my baby?

With that she pushes him on the bed and hovers over him.

Ash: S-Serena calm down. This isn't like you.

Serena (another voice): After all it isn't really her.

Ash: Wai-t---

But before he could say anything more as if the time stopped and when he came back to his senses, his mouth was choked with an apple and his hands were tied on the opposite sides of the bed.

Ash: (in mind) I need to get out of here.

His eyes travel to every edge of the room trying to find something that might help him out. At last he found a soft toy at one of the edge of the bed. The possibility was small but maybe throwing it hard might wake up Gary. He internally said sorry to Serena for kicking the bear and then with all his force he kicked it. The bear hit the desk near the door and also made a loud thud sound. He prayed for Gary to not be a heavy sleeper today. Just then he heard someone coming towards the door and peeking.

Gary: Are you okay Ash? Do you need me for anything? (He didn't peek enough as he thought he might have come at a wrong time but then as Ash didn't shout at him he came inside) ASH!! What happened to you? (He quickly freed his wrists and then threw the apple too) What is going on? Where is she?

Ash: Listen I can't really say anything right now. First we need to find Serena. Think where she can go right? Ohh and Ken is inside her right now.

Gary: This all doesn't make sense but let me think.

Misty: Is everything okay guys? Where is Serena?

Gary: Don't bother about the details right now. Think where would you go if you are Ken?

Misty: Hmmmm... Maybe cemetery because my powers will be the most powerful there.

Ash: I got it. Gary the Starhold cemetery, that was where he was buried. Let's go.

Gary: Take my car keys and go there first. We will join you soon enough.

Ash: Okay but be fast.

Gary: I'll be. Now go.

Without wasting anymore time he was out.

While at the same time at the front of Ash's house

Derek: Now let's go inside.

Delia: They will be so happy to see us.

Alice: I can wait no more.

As soon as they entered a chill ran down their spine. They had the doors keys to open the door but they didn't lock the door when they come inside.

Derek: Something is off.

Alice runs off to the kitchen and throws her bunny down.

Delia: Baby come here. Where are you going?

Alice (Ken): (turns around) Well well I was waiting for you. (laughs maniacally)
