I'm one of the winners of the WattOriginals 2020 Awards and I am so grateful, not just for the recognition and acknowledgment, but the amount of effort that the hosts and judges must have put into organizing such a big contest and vetting all the entries. It was truly a surprise to be one of the winners when there are so many talented writers, and it definitely motivates me to continue writing.

1 Are you still surprised when you get a new vote, follow or comment?

Not 'surprised', but definitely still thankful for each new vote, follow and comment.

2 What is one wattpad goal?

Write more stories!

3 What's the best way to handle a bully?

Stay strong, even if you have to fake it. Find your own support network instead of bottling it all up.

4 What inspired you to write?

For me, reading and writing go hand in hand. I love the escape to a fictional, fantasy world.

5 What's your favorite movie?

I'm a sucker for fantasy and sci-fi, and movies with good soundtrack (especially Hans Zimmer). So to name a few... Interstellar, Lord of the Rings, Guardians of the Galaxy.

6 What's your favorite holiday and why?

Going somewhere with great scenery, history and culture, away from the hustle and bustle of the everyday city life. Some of my favourite places: Split, Budapest, Santorini, Japan.

7 What is your favorite thing about Wattpad?

It's an interactive platform that brings readers and writers closer than simply reading a book that someone else has written. As a writer, the reactions and feedback from readers are very helpful.

8 What your favorite story?

It's hard to name a single one, but these are a few of my favorites which all feature a strong female lead: The Song of the Lioness series by Tamora Pierce, Circe by Madeline Miller, A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas, Cleopatra's Daughter by Michelle Moran.

9 How would you celebrate a publishing deal?

I write for fun, so I've not seriously thought about pursuing a publishing deal. Say it happens out of nowhere, I'd celebrate by having a feast at a fancy restaurant. Looove foooood.

10 Who is your favorite celebrity?

I probably admire Emma Watson most because despite her success in the film industry at a young age, she kept up her academic grades, didn't lose herself amidst the fame and wealth, and is now very outspoken with what she believes in.

If I was to be more shallow, the celebrity I would most easily swoon for right now is Henry Cavill. He's hot and he's a gamer. 'Nuff said.
