Mavis' pov

I looked down to the girl that tugged on my hand. "Could we get some ice cream?" I gave her a warm smile and nodded. "Of course. We will get some ice cream, do you guys want some? It's on me." The question was directed to the two men, standing behind us as if they are our bodyguards.

They looked at each other and then back to me. "No, thank you." Hekiji, the always polite one, answered and I nodded. When we all went to the ice cream shop, the seller looked kind of nervous. Could be because of Yu, who looks like a bulldog and is kind of intimidating with his gaze. So I tried to ignore his shaking hands and looked down to Eri. "Honey, what would you like?"

"Strawberry and chocolate, please." I looked up to the seller and nodded. "Two of that, please"

After I paid for our ice cream, we made our way back to the house again, but got stopped.

The one that followed us around, blocked our way. Smiling at us. He examined first Eri, travelled his gaze to our hands and then up to me. "Is something, Sir?" He glanced to the two behind me, their hands twitching and ready to take out this man.

"I just saw you two walking down the street, are these bodyguards of yours? For what do you need protection, if you don't mind me ask." I knew exactly what's going on.

"Oh, these two are actually friends of mine. They wanted to accompany me and Eri here." I gestured to Eri, who held my left hand tightly. "You know, the lots of crimes that happened in this city, they were worried that something might happen to us." A sick smile made its way to my lips. "If you'd excuse me Sir, we need to go."

Just as I wanted to pass my, he raised his hand and wanted to touch me on my shoulder. I dodged it swiftly and walked away, as if nothing happened.

His jaw clenched as he looked down at me. "I told you, it was a bad idea."

"You still said yes. Nothing happened. Get over it." I rolled my eyes and went with a sleeping Eri in my arms, towards her bed. Kai followed me with angry steps.

"Don't talk back to me." I tucked Eri in her thin bedsheet and stood back upright again. "Don't give me a reason for it."

He turned me towards him, surprising me because he would never want to make any body contact with others. "It's not done, you will learn to behave." His breathing came out ragged before he steadied it again.

"Ok, dad. Now if you'd excuse me." I made my way out of her bedroom, to my room and changing into my suit.

"Nemoto! Just the one I looked for." I walked towards the man that could let me talk so easily with his quirk, it's scary.

"What can I do for you, Reaper?"

"Do you happen to know where the two from the LoV are?" I couldn't see his reaction because of his mask, but I could see that he tilted his head slightly to the side. "Does Overhaul know that you want to meet them?"

I rolled my eyes. "Oh, please. I contacted them in the first place. Why would I need his word?" Sure, Nemoto is a loyal member to Kai, but he literally wouldn't even go to the toilet if Kai told him to.

"Stop kissing his ass so much and just tell me where they are." I huffed. He loved honesty, and I am giving him that. Manipulation in the finest.

I opened the door and stepped in.
"Hey, how are you guys doing?" When they heard my voice, they tensed before Toga came running to me, engulfing me in a hug that Mina and Kyoko would do.

But the difference here is that Toga tried to bite me. She has a blood kink, and I don't mind. 
I swerved her to my right and pulled her back to me, her back hitting my front.

"Did anyone bother you guys?" Twice answered for both of them as I sat down with Toga attached on me. "Everything is quite alright." I nodded.

"No it's not- yes it is-!"

"Do you guys want to do some fun?" Toga grinned at me.

"What kind of fun?" Twice held a finger up nervously, while watching me and Toga exchanging looks.

"Something like stealing documents?"

The documents in my hand were nothing that I needed. Searching for information about Eri's quirk and the late boss was tough, I could only find till now informations about the members. A load of other files were waiting in front of me, ready to be read. It wasn't hard to get in this room, isolated from the others. Twice helped out with a clone of Kai.

Toga is with me in the room, looking around and touching things that looked interesting enough.  She gives me enough space to do my thing. Twice is in front of the door, waiting for us with his clone.

A sigh escaped my lips as I closed the what felt like 100th file. When I placed the file in my hand back down, I reached for the next, but stopped shortly when I saw something peaking out from another file far in the back.

It was a photo of Eri. No doubt it would give me the information that I want.

"No way..." I mumbled as I read the documents in there. While I read things about Eri's quirk, Twice's head peaked in from the door. "Guys, someone is comin'."

Closing the file, I took it with me, just like another one that I sorted to the side. It had something to do with the tests that he made beforehand with Eri. Before he worked on this project of his.

"Let's go." I pulled Toga from her arm, while rushing out the door, to a nervous Twice.

"What's wrong with you? Never sneaked around?"

He shook his head fast. "Then let's go, you slow poke."
