She took her hands off of him and make herself leave while he is still there stuck on his position with confusion on his head. He doesn't know what had happened, He wanted to ask her if she could still remember him or is she really his ex-wife.

He shouldn't feel this way, He should be mad to see her again, He should be furious to see her acting like he's a stranger to her. He hates how she couldn't be able to recognize him and what he hates the most is himself acting like he's regretting they part ways and come to this. 

After thinking for a few minutes he decided to catch up with her and follow her without her noticing that.

He wanted to confirm something, He wanted to know if she's just planning all this to avoid him and pretend that she never knew him or something happened to her like accident that's making her act like this.

He doesn't want to think that she had accident and has amnesia, although it can be possible that it happen that way, since she never had communicate with Glen but he is still not sure if it's the same with his in-laws.

Although he still keep his contact with his in-laws for them to meet Ellaine but he has no idea about their contacts with Jess. They never talk about her and he doesn't even want to talk about it, that's why no one dares to mention her name wherever he was there with her  family.

Jess almost collapse on the floor the moment she close her door behind her. She knew that Danny is just around the area she's living in, she knows that he follows her even when she was in the bus, but she pretended that she never saw him.

She even pretend that she don't recognize him. It's been five years since she left them and she knows that they're living well and that's the reason why she's avoiding him. She doesn't want the same mistakes to happen, She left before not because she wanted to, She left because she knows how much she hurt him for choosing someone over her family, Although she has her reason.

She saw how happy he was the day before she left, he was happy that it's driving her crazy seeing him like that. It makes her signed the divorce and make a promise to herself that she will never come back to them, that she doesn't want to destroy their happiness.

Jackie looks fine to her, She is much way better than her, she could see how much she took care of her loving family during her absence, that Jackie had done too much than she did. She gave them love that she never did, She loves them beyond your imagination but she never show it off, even if it broke her heart to pieces she chose it that way and stay away from them, she even left her job to completely fade away from their sight. That's the only way she knew back then.

And now she met Danny once again, All the pain she had in the past are now coming back from the start to this point.

she's still hurting inside just seeing him or even remembering him, she's living her worst life now paying off for all the mistakes she'd done.

She cry and cry all over again, she wanted to hug him and tell him how much she miss him but she control herself and keep hiding herself from her true feelings.

After all many things has changed. Even if she'll tell him everything it won't change or it won't go back to the days when they were thinking nothing but loving each other.

She might not know how he was living for five years with their daughter but she knew that he never want her back.

Who would dare want their wife to come back in their lives as they knew how they cheat on them?

Maybe the possible reason he was acting like that, he might want to confirm if she's really his ex.

She let out a deep sigh as she wiped her tears away and get herself together.

This is not the right time to cry, she has something important to do.

She change her clothes to the simple one and get her things before going out of her house.

She is surprised to see Danny at the front door the moment she get herself out.

She panic a little bit but she did not show it off.

"Why are you following me?" She asked hiding her nervousness. He frowned

"Stop it now." He said in his calm voice. She can see it in his eyes that he is begging to stop acting like this. She knows that look but...

"Do you have anything to say? Or you're just foll---"

"I said stop it!" He said once again and look down with his eyes close. "Stop it now while I'm being nice." He continued.

"I don't know what you're talking about.'" She said and slightly push him off to get going but he grabbed her gently by his wrist.

"Please, stop this." He said with his head down and voice cracked. She look at him who's just standing next to her, If he only knew how much she want to hug him ...

"Jess..." With that soft voice her heart melt. She look to the other side to hide her pain.

She only realized that they're holding hands and he's interlocking their fingers which made her look there. She's holding it so much, she wanted to stop but she can't....

"Ellaine..." He started and look at her which made them eye contact. "She has grown a lot." He continued.

"If you're just acting that you don't know me, I'm begging you to stop. I shouldn't be doing this but I want you to stop and making me feel like everything that happened to us are all my faults." He said not taking his eyes off her. It makes her uncomfortable and look away. She even take her hand away.

"I have somewhere to go.." She said and was about to step forward but he didn't let her to. He stood there right in front of her, cornering her.

"Not until you tell me you're just acting. What happened?" He asked but she didn't say anything. He took his phone out of his pocket and show it to her. She took a glance and saw his picture together with Ellaine. She look away as she doesn't want to show him her emotions.

"Jess... please..." He said and it's obvious that he is trying hard not to yell at her. She know how angry he is because of what she did.

"I am trying what happened to us five years ago and I am trying so hard to ask you nicely to stop whatever games you're playing at. I even chase you all the way here because I know that you know me too well."

"I'm fine if you're just avoiding me it's not a problem but you are acting like you never know who I am. Jess, I cannot just go and let you and think what this is. I don't care if I'm being rude right now."

"I just wanna know.. Do you have amnesia?" He asked her and she's just standing there listening to him while thinking of any way how to escape.

But even if she escaped here, she know that she'll never escape from him if he'll continue to act this way.
