SEE THE LIGHT

Kim silently eating his dinner in one of expensive restaurant. He keeps his mouth zip since they starts to shared some time. It made the other man felt unease in Kim's silent.

"Can you just pretend that you are happy in this moment? Just now. Only now, Kim." Tee asked for something, moreover; requesting.

Kim paused and take a look at his friend. He shows his unwillingly smile. "Isn't enough?" He is referring to the smile he gave.

Tee sighed. It's a deep sigh. "You are here but too far to reach." He wiped his lips saying that he's already done. "I am full. Let's go home." His sad voice thrown suddenly.

Kim keep looking until he grabbed Tee's hand and his friend ended up sitting in his chair again. "Continue your food. I owned you this. So? I am going to pay for it with full interest."

Tee can't win in this situation. So, he end up following Kim's order. He continue his food even though, he truly full.

What if.. Tee's existence will gone? Are you going to love me? -PIM

It pop up in Kim's mind that made him to paused and look at Tee. "Be careful, Tee." He warned his friend.

Tee stops for a while and let his eyes to take a peak at his friend. He sees a worrying one that he can't comprehend why Kim said it. "Is there something wrong, Kim?"

"Nothing. But be careful. Since, I am going to a business trip for one week. Ask Tae to accompany you."

"Why? Is Pim told something?"

"No. I am just worried because we know that Pim had bipolar disorder. What if she will do something to you?"

"I am OK, Kim. She will never hurt me." Tee smiled and shows that's everything is fine.

A reason why Kim needs to avoid Copter and let Tee to replace Copter for a while. Since, they didn't know what Pim can do. Kim had an own idea of how he can protect the one he loved.

(Flashback)

It's already lunch time in the office works. Everyone is already went outside, not the one who named Copter. He made himself to become busy, just to forget his own problems.

Kim sees how Copter rest in his chair while his head, placing and resting in the table. He keeps looking for almost an hour. He wants to say HI, but he didn't know how to do it. He is scared for rejection.

"Mr. Kim?" Yada called out Kim who's walking back and forth outside of the Design Department office.

But Kim didn't mind Yada. He continue walking and thinking some solution on how he can starts a conversation with Copter. He stops when someone tap his shoulder.

"Why are you here?" Tee paused and take a sneak peak inside. The thing he sees is Copter. He realized that Kim wants to talk Copter even a bit time. "Talk him. Pim is not here."

Kim look at his friend with a surprising face. "H-How?" He's stuttering.

"Just say something."

"Like what?"

"Just say something. That's it."

Kim look down and can't hide his feelings. He scared for what he did. He more scared if he will hurt Copter again.

"Such an idiot!" Tee murmur.

It made Kim to take a glance at Tee. That raising his one eyebrow while crossing his arms.

"Say something to starts the conversation."

"What if he cut it off?"

"Then, say again to start."

"What if he avoid me?"

"Then, try to get his attention."

"What if--."

Kim didn't continue when Tee cover his mouth. "Stop your what if(s). Just talk him." He push Kim when he said his last sentence.

Kim slowly turn back and look inside. He sees Copter didn't change his position. But his hand trying to change something. Moving and trying to hold the doorknob. But before he do that, another hand did it. He let Godt to go inside.

"It's too late." Kim mumbled when he sees Godt walking towards Copter. He back in his senses when his friend arms landed in his shoulder.

"Come. Be a brave man." Tee whispered.

They both entered the office and walk straight to Godt and Copter who are talking. They got the attention of the two.

"Godt.. Copter.." Tee starts it with a joyful voice.

Godt bid a respect towards Tee and Kim. While Copter look at the arms of Tee, resting in Kim's shoulder.

"Are you busy Godt? Can you help me to get some files in Hara's office?" Tee asked after pulling away his arms at Kim. Since he notice Copter.

"Nothing, Mr. Tee."

"So.. let's go!" The last thing slip off in Tee's lips.

Godt followed Tee and the two left alone. The silent of sounds cover the whole place. Kim look at Copter when Godt and Tee are totally disappeared.

"Uhmm.." Kim uttered while he rub his back neck and think on how he can start the conversation. He keeps his eyes on the cute man whose making himself busy, right now. He slowly smile when he sees that the one he loved never change.

"Are you going to say something?" Copter uttered.

Kim back into own self when he heard Copter's voice that he missed. It gives him confidence to ask. "H-How a-are y-you?" He's stuttering.

"I am fine." Short response from Copter and easy to understand. "Do you need something else?"

"Nothing more. I just want to know if you are OK." It's different in what Kim really want to say. I just miss you so much.

"OK. By the way, there's a parent orientation and meeting in Dhara's school."

"Uhmm. I didn't know that."

"You are too busy in avoiding me. Even in your own daughter. You are too rare to ask us."

Kim feel that the words of Copter, stab him in his heart. Since, it is true. True that he wants to get away in his marriage, he almost forgot Dhara.

"When the meeting will happen?" He keeps the conversation.

It made Copter to look at. He witness the smile he missed. The smile that soften his heart, moreover; he can't feel any anger anymore.

(End of Flashback)

Tee parked his car in front of the blue huge gate. He slowly look at his side, seeing Kim's peacefully sleeping. Our love story is already ended. But the way I look at you, will never end.

He look at the gate and his eyes become bigger. He sees Copter standing and looking at them. But Tee avoid it for a minute and look back again. It ended up that Copter went inside. His smile slowly shown when he realized that Copter let him do the thing that he wants. He look back at his friend. And avoid his eyes want, when he sees Kim wake up. "We're here!"

Kim yawning first before he look at the huge blue gate. The gate is seems familiar to him. "I am sorry. If I fall asleep."

"Its OK. Since, this past few days was too tiring."

"That's true!"

Tee turn his face and smiled. "It's about time."

Kim furrow head came when he heard it. He didn't understand what Tee wants to tell. "Is there something wrong?"

"I am sorry for everything. For being selfish. In fact, for being so stupid." Tee sigh before he continued. "I am tired for waiting and hoping. And its about time to stop. No!.. I SHOULD stop before you stop holding me. Because it's more hurt.. if I heard it from you. Thank you for this last date." He starts to hold his tears.

Kim keep his mouth zip. Since, he can't save Tee from drowning. The only thing he can do is to avoid and stops giving false hope.

"Now. I already say it. You can go." Tee added.

Kim followed what Tee said. He leave the car without making a noise, moreover; he didn't take a glance. His heart will tear apart if he sees Tee cry. It's time to let go the past. And to let go it, I need to stop holding Tee. But I don't want to reach the point that we didn't knew each other.

(Flashback)

Tee look around and sees Copter alone. Is they done talking? He can't see Kim after coming back.

"Where's Kim?" Tee asked Copter who's busy doing something.

"He's already gone, Mr. Tee." Copter response without looking at his boss.

"I guess.. Do you have a free time? I just want to say something."

Copter look at him, finally. And he's ready to hear whatever Tee needs to say.

"I and Kim.. will be going on the date, later. After the work hours."

"Should I congratulate you, Mr. Tee?" A cold tone of voice. And Copter back in what he was doing earlier.

"Can you?" Tee smiled. I am the one who need to congratulate you. Since at the beginning, you already won.

Copter lying his tiring body in the soft bed. It's already late in the evening, but he can't feel sleepy. Since Kim started to avoid him, he barely sleep in the night.

He took something in his pocket. And up a bit his arms, just to see clearly the precious thing that he treasured. It's Kim's necklace. How long are they need to talk? He sigh deeply.

"Why are you still awake?"

Copter turn his head towards the door. He sees Kim standing and leaning his body. But his eyes focus in Kim's handsomeness even he is totally tired.

"Did you wait me?" Kim added.

But Copter keeps looking and didn't say something. Yeah! I waited you for so long. It feels a decade. His tears started to fall down. And his mind tell all.
