LOVING YOU IS MY FAVORITE MISTAKE

When Kim walk, everyone's eyes looking at him. His gorgeous entrance made him the star of the night. Everyone's made their murmur and mumble that's not clear to hear because of the solemn music, playing.

This night is a small gathering of relatives and friends of Ms. Sunisa and her soon to be new husband. This is the garden engagement party that happening in the wide and beautiful garden land in the mansion owned by the CEO of E.Shine -Ms. Sunisa's soon to be husband.

Kim stops when an old lady went in his front, standing.

"I am great that you are here." Ms. Sunisa welcome her son by showing her beautiful smile.

Instead of responding, he continue walking and passed by his mother. Ms. Sunisa deep sigh before backing her focus in Tee, Hara and Yada that left by the CEO of Moonshine.

"Congratulation, Auntie." Hara said.

"Thank you, my dearest niece." Then, she turn her face, just to see Tee. "It's been a long time, Tee. You still handsome, my dear." Ms. Sunisa's praised the good looking bestfriend of his son.

"Thank you Auntie. And congratulation to your engagement." Tee's reverence.

"Did you and Kim, already have a relation?" The old lady's direct to the point question.

"No, Auntie. We're still the same, just like what you want." He smile.

"Good, Tee. Because I already arrange his marriage to Ms. Pim." She tap Tee's shoulder, repeatedly. "Thank you for obeying me." She added.

"But Auntie, even I and Kim didn't ended up together, you will never force your son to marry Ms. Pim. Because he already find the one, the one that he will fight in the rest of his life." Tee tease Ms. Sunisa that made the old lady to annoy and it is already written in her face.

Hara hold Tee's arm, just to tell that he need to stop. Tee, smile a bit before he walk away and left them.

"Auntie!" Hara call out the old lady's attention in cheerful way. "We bought a lot of gifts for you and for Mr. Chuan." She added just to erase the tension a while ago.

(Flashback)

Since he was so busy in the whole day, he change in his office and Yada prepared his elegant suit for the event. They take the elevator and patiently waited to reach the last floor. When it's already reach the ground floor, the moment elevator open, Copter standing already.

Kim look at Copter directly. His fierce and cruel by looks surprised the shorter man. He take his step and passed by, just like he never known Copter. The shorter man bow a bit, to give his reverence to Tee, Hara and Yada before the three follow Kim's step.

Copter look at Kim's back until the CEO's feet landed outside of the company building. He sigh deep before stepping inside. How long he's going to avoid me? Copter only question in his mind.

He push the button of his work floor, before the elevator door close, an one hand stop it that made Copter to push the open button. He's shock the moment he already show whose the person did it. The man standing in front of him, wearing a glamorous red suit that made him the most gorgeous man in the company. The man walk inside and didn't mind his sweat running downward in his forehead.

"K-Kim?" Copter's stuttering.

Kim let himself to breathe first before pushing the button for each floor. Then, he face Copter after.

"I thought, you still avoiding me."

"That's what I want. But I really miss your voice." Then Kim step towards Copter and embrace the shorter man. Copter is already imprison in those arms. "I'm sorry! Let's make everything's OK now." He let his arms pull out Copter and hold the shoulder of the man in his front. "Please?"

"Can we have a lunch together tomorrow?" Copter lift his head to see Kim. "Can we?" His pleading eyes.

A minutes passed by and already pass the floor where Cop's work place is. Kim smile all the way until it already reach the floor where his office is. He walk outside while holding Copter's hand and they go straight to the CEO's office.

"Why we are here?" Copter ask while looking around.

"Nothing! I just want to spend a time with you before going in the party." His respond while taking a sit beside Copter. "I'm sorry if I am really obsess in you."

Copter head turn to the man in his side. "I am the one who need to say sorry for not following our contract. For having a lunch date with Godt."

"I am envy in him. But I don't get it why he left you before and getting you back now." Kim's head rest in Copter's shoulder. The place where he felt the peace he wants. He bring out something in his pocket. And lend it in Copter's palm. It was a necklace with a ring pendant.

"What's this?"

"My most important thing in my life. It is special to me. That is given by my older brother. And today, his death anniversary. If ever our ways parted away, I have a reason to find you over and over. So, keep it." He smile.

"I don't want to see you like this. I think that I am a bad person and I didn't deserve your love, even a single amount of your love."

"I already told you, I don't care if you still love him. I just want you to stay in my life. Just stay." Kim intertwined his fingers to Copter.

Kim took the glass of wine in Hara's hand.

"Take it easy! No one will compete in you." He scolded his cousin. Hara take a glance to him and pick up the glass after Kim putting down. "Where's Tee?" He turn his head around.

A minute passed by before Hara response to her cousin. A hard slap in Kim's face. Kim hold his left side of face.

"What the heck?" Kim protest.

"Tee's told me already. Can you just stop holding Tee? He's not a toy that can you play every time you're bored in your life." She calming herself. "Copter and Tee are not a toy, Kim." She added.

"I am a business man. I don't want to take a risk when I am not so sure if I'll win at the end. So, I need to keep them both in my life." Kim serious explanation.

"Jerk!" She murmur. "He's busy in talking to your soon to be step brother." The sulky lady drink all the wine and didn't leave any drop of his drink.

Kim look around until his eyes witness his bestfriend talking happily in the next CEO of the E.shine and his soon to be step brother.

"I really hate you, Kim. You're my rival in Tee then that jerk man, he wants to be a part of Tee's life too. How can Tee see me? It's been a years of showing and courting him." Hara protest that made Kim's attention back to her. She's really like Tee.

"Did he reject you again?"

Hara didn't say anything, instead her shed tears came. The moment Kim saw how wasted his cousin, he laugh silently.

"Jerk!" She slap Kim's arm. But the man didn't stop to laugh like an idiot. And Hara went away to him, the exact timing that Ms. Sunisa came and he stop.

Ms. Sunisa put down a two glass of wine. "Did you think already the arrange marriage to Ms. Pim?" She stares to her son before continuing. "It will great help to expand the business of yours. You already know how much her family mean in the society." She added.

"It's my business. So I know what's good and what's not." He pick one and sip a bit wine.

"You're like your father. Too stubborn that's why the company didn't get into number one."

"The company will reach the number one in jewel industry without your help nor my father. In fact, you are not a part of my family."

"You know why I left you and your father? It because Mr. Chuan is more wealthy than your dad. He's more respectable. His company is the number 1. Moonshine can't compete in E.shine." Honest confession from his mother.

Kim smirk. "That's the true color of yours, Ms. Sunisa. Marrying Mr. Chuan, your old husband's bestfriend."

(Flashback)

Hara hold Tee's arm, just to tell that he need to stop. Tee, smile a bit before he walk away and left them.

"Auntie!" Hara call out the old lady's attention in cheerful way. "We bought a lot of gifts for you and Mr. Chuan." She added just to erase the tension a while ago.

Before Hara lend all the gifts, an old handsome man came.

"Hon, my relatives want to meet you now." Mr. Chuan's arm put around in the waist of his bride.

"Oh. By the way, this is Hara, my niece." She pointed Hara. "And this is Yada, the secretary of Moonshine." She pointed Yada.

Hara and Yada made their reverence to Mr. Chuan while this old man, show his smile and generosity.

"Let's go!" Mr. Chuan ask Ms. Sunisa after he shows his smile to Yada and Hara.

The old lady bow a bit, just to agree. Then the two left.

"I'll going to follow Tee." Hara bid her goodbye to the secretary and starts to walk.

She walk and look around, just to find Tee. Her smile drawn in her lips after seeing Tee. She went where Tee is and the man is alone in crowded place.

"Where's Kim?" Hara's first thing slip off in her mouth.

Tee look at her first. "I didn't find him. So, I just ended up here."

"Is OK with you to know that Kim is already engage to Pim?" Hara look to Tee, trying to read what's on the man's mind.

"I am OK. As long as, Kim is in my life." He sip in the glass. "Do you think Kim will marry that girl? The girl he didn't know nor meet."

Hara deep sigh. "How long are you going to stay in Kim's life? Can you just look around? There's a person who truly love you and see's your worth." Her voice is getting intense.

"Hara, you already knew how much I like Kim since before." He pause a little. "No! How much I love Kim. But I can't accept his offer and I can't fight what I really felt. So, I am OK to be his bestfriend. I'm sorry Hara. You are waiting for nothing."

The lady hold Tee's hand but before it touches the warm hand of the man he likes, it totally pull away from her.

"Sorry." Tee's soft voice. Then, he left Hara.

Tee left alone standing in far away in the middle of crowded place after having a good and nice conversation in the son of Mr. Chuan. Soon to be step brother of his bestfriend. Until, someone's hug him from behind.

"I really hate what I saw a while ago. I don't want you to talk in that jerk." He whisper in Tee's ear.

Tee pull out those arms that coil in his body. Then, face the man he was looking earlier. "Jealous?"

"Do you think?" Kim smile to tease Tee. But his smile fell out after seeing Tee's face. "Did something wrong happen?" He ask after learning that Tee is not OK.

"Let's stop this, Kim."

The glass slip off in Kim's hand after hearing what Tee said. He step backward after his soul back when he heard the cracking glass.

"Let's act what really bestfriend is. I don't want to be the third wheel." He added since Kim didn't say any single words.

"No!" Kim holds Tee's hand. "I am going to stop seeing Copter. Just love me please, Tee?" His teary eyed.

The silence came when Tee didn't say anything. Until, Kim's phone ring. The two look into each other eyes when they heard it. Tee pull out Kim's hand that made the CEO signal to pick up his phone.

"Who's this?"

"Uhmm." Utter of the person in the other line.

"C-Copter?" Kim ask when he heard the voice. And he look to his bestfriend that looking at him too.

"Sorry for disturbing you. I just want to ask, what time are you going home?"

Kim look at his wrist watch first. "I'll be there later."

"Uhmm. Take care."

"OK."

Then Kim hang up the call and focus to Tee again.

"Let's talk Tee. I disagree of what you are saying."

Tee smirk. "I already decided it, Kim."

"Did you like me? Even a little?"

"We're not in the same page." Tee said before walking away and leaving Kim behind.

I do, Kim. And it is a mistake. In fact, loving you is my favorite mistake. Tee's real thoughts.
