PRETEND UNTIL IT LAST

Copter stares to his daughter until Dhara went inside of her classroom. Dhara is a loveable and adorable daughter to the two. Copter witness his daughter on how Dhara interact to each children in her same age.

Someone's tap his shoulder that made him to turn around and shows his widely smile. His childhood friend and Dhara's home room teacher. It's been a weeks that they didn't see each other. They're both busy in their own lives.

"Are you busy?" Teacher Chai ask Copter after she look inside of her classroom. There's a half hour left before the class start.

Copter take a quick glance in his wrist watch, just to check what time is it. He smile when he learn that there's a lot of time left to him before his work begin. "I have a lot of time just for you."

Chai pinch Copter's cheek that made the other man wink to show how he feel a little hurt. "Oh! So sweet!"

Copter hits Chai's hand and rub gently his cheek. "It's hurt!" His cute pouty lips shown.

"Coffee?" Chai offer her bestfriend.

The man nod to Chai. They walk together and went to the school canteen. They take the corner part and sit comfortable. Chai brought some snacks and coffee that good for two person. It's been a while since they hang out and have a time for each other.

"Here! For my cutest bestfriend." Chai compliment the man sitting in her opposite side. "It's been a while since our last hang out." She added when she took a sit.

Copter sip in his Caffe Mocha brought by his lovely bestfriend while Chai move her arms and coil it in Copter.

"I miss you!" She tighten her grab and giggled to her friend.

Copter patted his friend's head and smile while the other make her sweetest efforts to show how she totally miss her friend.

"By the way." She pull out herself and sit properly. "Did he say sorry? You forgive him?" She ask after biting her sandwich.

Copter breathe deep then. "No. He lied again." He pause a bit and continue. "I ask him if he had a dinner date with Mr. Tee then he said yes. But I know that he lied."

"Uhmm." Chai utter while sipping in her drink and let her ear to listen first before commenting.

"I'm just waiting that he'll say the truth. But it is really hard to tell the truth? That's the only thing I want from him. Truth not lies." Copter exhale all his sadness. "You know that I really hate liars." He added, just to remind his friend how he dislike those people who chose to lie than to say the truth.

"Maybe? Or surely! The percentage of shyness in his body is too much large. That's why he can't say the true feelings of him." Chai's conclusion. The gloomy friend of Chai, made her to feel so worried. "You like him already?" Chai direct question to Copter. That made the other person look at her. She cross her arms and looked in interrogating way.

Copter look away to those interrogating eyes. "I don't know. But--." He look back and he gulp so hardly after seeing those eyes. "But how did you say that?" Finally, he utter after he scared.

"Well!" She wipe her lips using the tissue before she continue. "It all written in your face. He lied and it's big deal to you. You hate him because you knew that he likes Tee not you." She pause and sip in her drink. "I am right, Copter? You hate him because he didn't like you."

Copter sigh after his bestfriend corner her up. "Fine! I like him already but not to the point that I want him to be my boyfriend. How can you say NO in his good looking face? I really like seeing his gorgeous face. He's a definition of beautiful."

"Finally! You say it." She smile after corner up, Copter.

(Flashback)

Copter pick his phone in his pocket and open the light torch of it. The light made him to see Kim's face so near. A loud beat of his heart starts to heard. It took a minutes before he realize that there's something wrong.

"What's that?" He murmur. He felt that's there's something bulge out in Kim's pants.

Kim's face turns into reddish. "Can you just get up? I feel some heat."

Copter instantly lift his own body after he learn what's Kim wants to say.

"Pervert!" Copter mumble. Then, he walks where the switch on of the light.

Kim already stand up when the lights on.

"Can you just say thank you? Instead of saying pervert." Kim fix his cloth and wag it. He stop of what he's doing when a thing catch up his attention. A small dolphin stuff toy. "Why are you late? Dhara waiting at you."

"I just went in the department store with Godt." Copter pick the stuff toy. "She already asleep now?"

"Yes!" The cheerful Kim is gone a bit. "Why you didn't call me or leave a text message?"

"I am sorry. I forgot it."

"You forgot us because you are with Godt. That's great, Copter." Kim is annoy already.

"I'm sorry."

Kim sigh just to relax himself. "I just want to be a good now. But after knowing that you already forget me and Dhara because of that jerk, I don't think so if I can." Kim mess up his head. He's insane now. "Go!" He shout. "Flirt him. And forgot that there's Kim and Dhara in your life. I don't care at all." He yell.

He turn back and without looking back, he went upward and left Copter without hearing any further explanation. Kim hurl his room's door.

Copter is left alone standing where he is. He look around and see the efforts that Kim made for him. He walks towards those lighted candles that form into three heart. He took the white teddy bear and carry it until he sit in the couch.

"It's cute! What's your name?" He talks the stuff toy that made him a crazy person. "Do you know why Kim is angry again in me? Did I made another mistake?" He waited for a decade after realizing that the stuff toy will never answer those question of him. "Oh! As if you can talk." Then, he deep sigh.

There's something catch up Copter's attention. "Press here?" He mumble after seeing that there's written in the teddy bear's right hand. Indicating to press it. Copter do it.

"Sorry Copter! Please! I'm sorry. Don't get mad at me anymore. Please? Baby?" It's Kim voice. The teddy bear is a recording stuff toy.

Copter's smile shown without realizing it. It made him to feel complete for this day. He can't never hide the fact that Kim has a soft spot in his heart. There's a space in his heart occupying Kim's name.

He stand after a minute and went to the kitchen. But he stop when he see that the table in the dining area is organized with flower and candles. It made the place to become the most romantic part in the huge house. He walk towards just to see it nearer.

"He did it also?" He utter.

After appreciating all those efforts, he run upward. He grasp his own breathe when he's standing in front of Kim's room. He lift his fist but he stop to knock after hearing something inside of the room.

"Hey! Don't date someone else than me."

He heard Kim's voice telling it. That made all of his happiness throw away in his body. When he didn't heard any noise inside, he continue to knock. He is standing when Kim open the door.

"What?"

A minute passed that Copter looking at Kim before he say something. "Did Mr. Tee went here?"

A furrow head came to Kim.

"There's a romantic set up in the dining and living area. So, I thought that you and Mr. Tee had a dinner date." Copter explain.

Kim sigh after knowing how stupid Copter is. He didn't realize that this efforts are for him, not for Tee. "Yes but he didn't come."

"OK." The short reply from Copter.

Kim want to scream when Copter turn back to him. That's all? That's your reply? I really hate that you didn't talk too much. Kim's real thoughts. He close his eyes, just to calm himself.

"C-Copter?" He call out the owner of the name before he totally disappear.

Copter turn and face Kim with asking why, written in his face.

"Do you want to date me?" Kim direct question. Finally, he made it. He ask Copter.

"I am not a substitute to Mr. Tee." The last words thrown to Kim before he left the CEO.

Kim felt that someone's throw a cold water in him. Copter change a bit. He's not the Copter who take care and feel worried towards him. He finally found his commensurate person.

Copter went in his room and lie his tired body in his bed. Is really hard to you to say the truth? All I want is the true. There's a true? Even only one? In all what you did for me? In all what you told already? Or it's all lie? His thoughts while cuddling his pillow. He is accepting all the lies for now but not tolerating it.

Kim's coolness scattered in the Security department office. Those man with fit and build body are nothing to compare to the CEO's coolness. They're the people who trying to secure all the corner of the company and also the safeties of all employees.

Kim look around and sees those eyes asking why he is there. Why the most important person in the company is visiting their office.

"Where's your head security chief?" He ask one of those people who wear a black suit.

"He's coming, CEO Kim." The respectful response from the one he asked.

Kim look to his wrist watch and telling that he is wasting his 10 minutes standing there.

Afterwards, the person he was waiting is already in his front.

"Everyone go outside." Godt order his men.

They follow it and they waiting peaceful outside of the office. Godt face the CEO after he secured that they're the only person inside.

"Why are you here?" Godt emotionless face towards the CEO.

"I'm just visiting. How are you?" Kim bend a bit and he rest his butt in the table. "Did you do your job? Securing the safeties of all people who work here." He added while he let his eyes look around in every corner of this office.

"Yes. CEO Kim."

"Did you like your job?" Kim cross his arms when he stops his eyes to Godt.

"Of course! CEO kim."

"Did you want your job?" Kim loosen his tie.

"Yes. CEO Kim."

"Then --." He pause and give to Godt his scariest glance. "Stay away to Copter." He made his warning.

Godt smirk when he understand how pathetic his boss. "What will you do if I can't do what you want?"

"You will regret it!" Kim is starting to get annoy.

The tension between them is getting to grow.

"I'll never regret every single action I made that Copter is involve." Godt didn't let Kim to destroy his huge wall of confident. He raised his head, just to tell how he proud him to do anything for the one he loved. "I'll protect him and no one can stops me for doing that. Even you, CEO Kim." He added just to tease the annoying Kim.

Kim started to crumple his fist and calm himself. He sigh and let Godt win for this moment. He back and face the door. But before he'll going to hold the door knob, Godt made something.

"Copter will take the burden if you are going to push him to go in your own world. You and he, are too much different to each other. You're the CEO and he is only an employee here. There's a huge barrier between you and he, the reason why the two of you can't be together." Godt speech that made Kim to stop.

Kim realize how much difference they have. "I am aware of that. So, stop saying it all. But --." He pause and then, smile. He's looking in the bright side. "But I can protect him too. If he is going to live in my cruel world." He's referring to his status in society. He's a rich and well-known man that everyone's looking and waiting in his crashing and falling down.

[MY NOTE: Cruel world will start when Ms. Pim enter the story. So, let's wait.]

"How can you protect him to your mother, father and to your fiancé? In fact, you're a puppet of your own father. Right? Mr. CEO?" Godt playful asking. He let Kim to reach his own limit.

"I have my own way on how I can protect him. I have my own strategies on how I can keep Copter in my life. That's why, he's still in my life." Kim smirk after throwing the curse back.

Godt laugh so manly. "Let me tell you this. How long are you going to keep Copter? While Mr. Tee is slowly fading in your life?" Godt pause and try to read Kim's mind. "Someone's stealing your bestfiend." He added.

Kim's fist is totally want a war. He can't endure this feeling of anger. He wants to crash Godt into pieces.

"While you are busy in the other one, you slowly loosen the grip to the other. Then, if you're trying to hold it tight again, surely, the other grip will lose. Because their weight is not balance at all. In fact, you can't hold them both." Godt walk to get near to Kim.

Godt tap Kim's shoulder. "If you're going to continue holding them, for sure! You will lose them both." Then, he open the door and go outside.

Kim left alone with full of bitter indignation. He close his eyes and pull in all of the coolness that fades when Godt made him the most foolish person. When he is OK, he went outside and witness something that made him again to feel a lunatic man.

He walks towards them and see clearer the smile of the two while having a conversation.

"Why are you here?" Kim ask Copter.

Copter take a little glance before his eyes back to Godt. The two didn't mind the existence of the CEO and continue talking.

"Why are you here?!" Kim shouted that made to Copter shock. He felt scared because the way Kim shout is different, full of enmity.

"We're going to --." Godt didn't finish what he wants to say when he look at Kim's eyes. Those eyes are already reach the limit.

"I am not asking you." Kim look back to Copter that already back himself in reality. "Why are you here?" Kim ask Copter again but this time, he is calmly.

"We're going to have a lunch together." Copter's response. "And why are you here? This is not your office nor Mr. Tee's office?"

"Yes. This is not my office nor Tee's office. I came here because you are here. I'll take you away from him." Kim look at Godt then, back to Copter. "If Dhara knew that her parents are having a hard time, she'll be sad for sure." He smirk when his eyes sees how Godt didn't comprehend how Copter related to Dhara. He give his rival a playful smirk for saying the he'll win this round. "Come! Let's have a lunch together." He grab Copter's wrist and pull the shorter man.

Copter didn't protest since he didn't expect this will happen.
