Tale of Gotham

(This is short but I really wanted to write it. I hope you like it.)

The limo pulled up in front of the apartments and Alfred walked around to our door, opening it.

"Home sweet home ladies." He said bowing. You stepped out and smiled at him.

"Thank you Alfred." You and the girls stepped toward the doors of the building.

"Oh watch for the wood." Sarah said grabbing you arm. You looked up to see some planks leaning against the side of the building. The owner had been doing some renovations and had left some of the loose tools and supplies laying around.

"Wow that's dangerous." You muttered.

"Woooo look boys at those sexy ladies." You and your friends turned your heads to see three men not to far away. They started to cat call and whistle. You rolled you eyes.

"Come on girls just ignore them." Amber said opening the door and you all walked in. You turned and smiled at Alfred one more time.

"See you later maybe?" You said waving.

"I do vary much hope so Miss." He waved back.

"Aw come now ladies! We're just admiring!" The tallest one yelled. He slurred his words which told you he was probably drunk.

"They were warring Monty. They must be rich." One said in thought.

"....How would you know what they are warring?" The other guy asked looking up at his friend curious. The other started to sweat.

"Oh yea know just random knowledge."

"Mhm. So their rich. Niiiiice."

"We could probably sneak in and-" they were cut off when a load of lumber slid off the wall and landed on the group. They called out as it landed on them.

"Oh!"

"Crap!"

"My Reginald custom made shirt!"

Alfred stood where the wood once was looking down on the group. He walked over and sat on the lumber making the group moan.

"Yes they are vary pretty girls. That is why you are way under their league. They don't need you idiots ruining their good night so I shall ask nicely to leave them be.

"Screw off!" The leader yelled.

"Well I did ask nicely." Alfred muttered. Screams could be heard on the wind that night. No one knew who it was or what awful thing had fallen upon them. It became a tale parents told their children who would miss behave. If you listen closely you can hear the screams of the last bad boys and girls of Gotham.
