What Is Veganism

It's not about being perfect, it's not about being superior. It's about looking beyond ourselves and seeing how our choices affect others. Veganism isn't a diet, it's not a religion, it's a lifestyle.

It's impossible to cause no harm to every single animal, you might accidentally step on an ant, hit a bird with your car. Although you choose to drive/walk it doesn't mean it's your fault, some things are out of our control. Veganism is not about causing no harm but causing the least amount of harm possible especially when it's unnecessary.

Killing animals for food is unnecessary ,we can eat the plants right away (we don't need to filter them through an animal first). Killing animals for clothing is unnecessary when there is alternatives such as cotton or man made pleather. Exploiting animals for food is unnecessary ,we produce our own breast milk/eggs we don't need to steal another animals secretions or eggs. Exploiting animals for entertainment is unnecessary when we have other forms of entertainment such as movies & concerts. Exploiting animals for experimental reasons is unnecessary because we have new methods of testing products/doing dissections etc. that don't involve the use of animals.

Health wise eating vegan is the best thing you can do... this will be explained more in further chapters. For the best explanation of why eating animal products is unhealthy I recommend watching 'Uprooting the leading causes of death' reading Dr.Gregers book 'How Not To Die' or just simply subscribing to his YouTube channel @Nutritionfacts.org.

What you eat everyday has the biggest impact on the environment, animals and your health.

Eating fake animal products is allowed contrary to popular belief. Vegans don't choose to not consume animal products because of how they look or taste. It's about more than that, it's about our health, the animals and the environment.
