After killing his father and stealing an heirloom sword forged by magic, Arren sets forth with his trusty steed into the unknown countryside, experiencing the joys and darkness of mankind. Along with the powerful mage Sparrowhawk, an unlikely friend and his own personal angst, Arren must rediscover his desire to live while evil forces threaten his precious life's existence.

The trailer is a fan-made one, makes me want to watch the movie right now. The music the chose was prefect.

Anyway, this is a Ghibli film and like most of there others is awesome. This was done by Miyazaki Hayao's son Miyazaki Goro based off the books of Ursula LeGuin.

Of course there is a lesson learned in this movie, Sparrowhawk (I think that's a cool name) was always trying to teach Arren something.. My favorite quote from Tales from Earthsea

"Now listen to me, Arren: No man nor any living thing in this world preserves their life forever. But only to men is it given to know that we must die, and that is a precious gift. This life that is both our torment and our treasure was never meant to endure for eternity. Life is a wave on the sea. Would you force the sea to grow still to save one wave? To save yourself?"

I give it a 4 out of 5.
