Chapter Eleven~Bruce's Fall.

I cautiously watched every screen following Bruce's car down the streets as he drove to get Harvey Dent. When he found him me and my Grandfather watched them nervously. Harvey had two young children hostage. "Let the children go Dent." Bruce insisted in his deep, raspy voice. "Why should I? People deserve to feel my pain." Harvey replied harshly. Bruce sighed impatiently. "They are just young, they have done nothing wrong. Let your anger out on me." He complained. Harvey laughed and took out a small silver coin. "Let's put this to fate shall we? Heads means I kill the children, tails means I kill you." Harvey said before flipping the coin and catching in his hand. "Heads." He smirked before going towards the children with a gun and going to shoot when Bruce jumped on his back. He fought him hard for ages, punches were being thrown, bullets were missing him but my heart broke when a knife was driven into his chest. I screamed with horror at the screen and the next thing we knew the cameras cut out.

"No! No no no!" I yelled with anger. This wasn't the right time for the screens to cut out. I wanted to see if Bruce was okay. I needed him to be okay. "I'm going to find him!" I announced before going to leave when my Grandfather grabbed my wrist. "No Eleanor, it's dangerous, you could get killed." I shook his hand off my wrist and the next thing I knew I broke down in tears. I shook my head. "I love him. I need to know he's okay. I don't care if Harvey kills me, I just need to be with Bruce. Call the police when I'm gone, okay?" I cried before climbing onto a motorbike and leaving the house, ignoring the loud worried calls from my Grandfather. It was pouring down with rain and my skin was as cold as ice but I didn't care, all I cared about was finding Bruce.
