Chapter Two~Generosity.

Rays of sunlight illuminated through my window making me awake from my deep slumber. The room that Bruce had gave me was absolutely beautiful and was old fashioned and highly decorated. No long after I had woken up I heard a knock at my door. "Come in!" I called clearly. The door swung open and my Grandfather walked in. "Morning darling, Master Wayne would like you to join him for breakfast, he has plans with you today he tells me." My grandfather informed me. "Okay, thank you." I replied. He nodded and left the room so I could get ready. The dining room was as equally as beautiful, I had not been in there yet as we ate out the day I arrived. Bruce got up to greet me and to pull a chair out for me. "I was thinking that I could perhaps give you a tour of the house today as you were getting settled in yesterday." Bruce told me. I nodded and said "That would be delightful thank you." Bruce's eyes lit up in happiness. Breakfast was delicious. Straight after it Bruce started to lead me around the house and explain it's history.

Each room was beautiful in its own way. Many antiques that Bruce's mother had brought filled the house giving it a more warm feeling. I then noticed a lift. "What's the lift for?" I questioned. "I'm afraid that's a private matter, you must only have permission to go down there." He answered. I nodded, what was he hiding? I decided just to let it go and carry following him around. "There's one more room that I'd love to show you, I think you'll really like it." Bruce smiled proudly. He opened giant golden doors to reveal the biggest library I had ever seen, it was breathtakingly beautiful. "Wow..." I gasped. Bruce beamed before leading me inside. There must have been over 40, 000 books at least there. "We have books on everything you can imagine, it'd be great for your studying or if you fancy just reading anything one day. I don't use it anymore." Bruce explained. "It's amazing." I grinned. Bruce smiled at me again before answering a phone call. After the long conversation he turned round and smirked at me. "There's a big company night tomorrow and you're my plus one." He said happily. I laughed and nodded. Was this a date? No, it's just a company thing. Don't be silly Eleanor.
