Sofia smiles at me.

"You can tell me, Sof. It's me."

"I think I am."

I smile at her, this is all I've ever wanted for her. I've always wanted her to be happy and find someone she truly loves.

"And what about him? Does he feel the same?" I question her.

"I don't know, he's very hot and cold with me."

"I saw the way he looks at you, there's definitely something going on."

Just then, there's a knock at the door.

"Come in." Sofia says.

It's Bill, he's holding a blanket and a pillow.

"I made the bed for you, Hailey. Here's an extra blanket and pillow if you need it. I'm heading to bed now as are the others, see you both in the morning." He smiles, putting the pillow and blanket on the bed.

I smile and nod, as she shuts the door behind him.

"Well, I'm gonna go to sleep. Goodnight Sofia." I say, sliding out the room, smiling at her.

I change into my pjs which I had already put out on the bed earlier. I go to get a bottle of water and I see Tom sitting down.

"Are you okay?" I ask him, sitting next to him.

"I'm just thinking, that's all." He replies, slightly smiling.

I take a sip of my water and look at him.

"Anything you need to get off your chest?"

He glances at me, and then looks away again. He places his head in hands and sighs.

"I really wish I could." Tom mutters under his breath, taking off his hat and placing it on the table next to him.

"You can talk to me, Tom."

Suddenly, he throws his arms around me. I gently place my arms around his neck, rubbing his back.

God, I feel stupid. Why can't I just tell her? She's only ever been nice to me and all I've done is throw it all back into her face. I know I feel something for her, but I just can't admit it. I don't know how to use my love properly.

And with no context, I just collapsed into her arms. Fantastic.

I pull away, smiling at her.

"I'm gonna head to bed, are you coming?" Sofia asks me, standing up.

"Yeah, just give me a few minutes to change, okay?" I reply, standing up after her.

She nods at me and I watch her walk back into the room, shutting the door.

I turn around, to see Hailey.

"I thought you were going to sleep?" I ask, slightly frowning at her.

"I was." She replies, tying her hair up.

"So... what are you doing?"

"Ear wigging, I'm waiting for you guys to get together."

I roll my eyes and turn back around, picking up my clothes to change into.

"You know she feels something for you right?"

I freeze on the spot. What did she just say? I turn back around, looking at her.

"Sofia?" I ask.

"Who else could I be talking about?" She replies, sarcastically.

I take in a deep breath and look at Hailey.

"She shouldn't feel something for me, tell her she can't."

Hailey looks at me confused, as if she needs context so I go and sit beside her.

"I'm not the guy she should fall for. I don't know if I can commit like that, just last week I was having girls in my hotel room every night."

I cover my mouth in disbelief that I actually just told Sofias best friend that.

"Grow some balls, Sofia is worth wanting to commit for." She replies, pulling the blanket over her.

I scoff and walk into the little bathroom and change into some grey sweatpants and an oversized top.

I brush my teeth while taking off my watch and cap.

I shut the door, walking into the bedroom where Sofia is already in bed. I climb into bed next her, keeping my distance.

"Are you okay?" She whispers to me, turning over so we're looking at each other even though it's pitch black.

"I'm okay, Sofia." I reply, looking at her.

"Tell me whatever horrible things are hovering around your mind, and let me listen anyway."

Her voice is so beautiful, it almost makes me want to let her read me story just so I can listen to her.

I gently grab her, and she immediately places her head on my chest.

"Tom?" Sofia whispers, looking up at me.

"Yes?"

"I think I'm falling for you."

I finally let the words slip out my mouth, and the empty pit in my stomach left. It was like having rocks lifted off my back. I lay on Toms chest in silence, waiting for a reply.

I bury my face into his chest, closing my eyes knowing I'm not going to get a reply. Each moment of silence leads me closer to sleep.

9:43 AM

I wake up, squinting my eyes at the bright light shining from the little windows.

I slide open the door, being greeted by everyone.

"Goodmorning, sleepyhead." Hailey says, shoving a waffle in her mouth.

"Nice of you to join us." Georg says, handing me a cup of coffee.

"Heh, thanks." I mumble, taking the coffee and sitting myself down next to Hailey.

"Goodmorning, Sofia! You okay?" Bill asks gleefully, as always.

"I'm okay, thanks Bill." I reply, taking a sip of my coffee.

I glance to Gustav who's eating cereal, who's sat next to Tom who's just sitting there with a waffle in front of him.

"You gonna eat that waffle, Tom?" I ask, trying to break the awkwardness between us.

He shakes his head, grabbing the little plate and handing it to me. I smile briefly, taking the plate from him and plopping myself back down.

I take a bite of the waffle and place my head on Hailey's shoulder.

"What are we doing today?" Hailey questions, with a waffle still in her mouth.

"Well, we have a concert later tonight, so we will probably stop off somewhere for lunch and maybe meet a few fans or something." Bill replies to Hailey while doing his eyeliner.

"Ooo, exciting." Hailey replies.

"Sofia, can you do them wings again for my eyeliner?" Bill asks, looking at me.

I immediately stand up, heading over to Bill.

I watch Georg and Gustav leave to go get changed, while Bill and Sofia head into Tom's room to do their makeup. Now it's just me and Tom.

"What are you doing?" I question Tom, eating my waffle.

"Huh?" He replies, shooting me a look.

"You didn't say a word to her." I reply, shaking my head.

"It's not your business, miss nosey." He scoffs at me.

"Seriously? I'm just trying to help." I scoff back, putting my waffle down.

"Help what?"

"You and Sofia, it's clear something is going on."

I slide open the door to go the bathroom, but Tom and Hailey are mid conversation so I just stand there, listening.

"Nothing is going on! I hate her!"

As those very few words leave Toms mouth, I can't help but let the tears run down my face. I close the door, sitting back down next to Bill.

Bill shoots me a look, gasping.

"What happened?" He rapidly asks.

"Tom just said he hates me." I mumble, wiping my tears from my face.

"You know that's not true, right?" Bill says, cradling me in his arms.

"What do you mean?"

"Tom doesn't know how to use his love, girls they come and go for him. He's never had to worry about a second date or calling them again, but with you it's different and he just doesn't know why."

Bill holds me for a few more minutes before I jump up.

"It's fine. Let's get ready." I say, smiling like that empty pit in my stomach didn't just return.

Bill stands up, rubbing my shoulder before he walks out of the little bedroom. I watch as Bill slides into the bathroom and the bus stops.

I walk out of the bedroom, watching Hailey walk down the bus steps.

"What is she doing?" I ask Tom, who's already dressed and ready.

"Getting fresh air and stretching her legs." He replies bluntly.

I sit opposite him.

"Can we talk about what's going on?" I ask.

He looks up at me, frowning his eyebrows before looking back down again.

"Tom?"

He doesn't say anything, he's just sitting there.

I hesitate to say this, but I feel like I should.

"Please tell me I'm not as forgettable as your silence is making me feel."
