1. People from the 12th Legion/New Rome/Camp Jupiter have a weird accent after years of being concealed from the rest of the world 

2. Young Legacies in New Rome get those little kids tattoos of the SPQR tattoo soldiers get 

3. It pretty much looks like a romance movie town 

4. when it hits 10 pm and the street lamps turn on, and the small shops turn their signs on and there hanging light- if you want to impress a special someone go to New Rome 

5. New Rome has their own daily newspaper kinda like the New York Post

6. A traditional Roman Republic flag, A SPQR flag, and an American flag all fly together on a hill in Bacchus Garden 

7. New Rome is really Patriotic for both America and the 12th legion 

8. They mostly speak Latin which makes it harder for probates to fit in 

9. ROMAN NUMERALS 

10. Most of them (who were either raised there or born there) don't even know how to use the numbers the mortals use 

11. They have a tour system for the other counterparts if they want to visit or go to New Rome University (See my other on going book) 

12. Former members of the 12th Legion have to take a 2 week course every year to make sure they're in shape and can still fight if needed 

13. Besides the veterans want to fight sometimes- training to fight as a child then just DROPPING it is HARD alright

14. Paper work every June to renew everything for Demigods who live in New Rome Legacies don't have to worry about it 

15. Mortal family is forgotten again- you are not allowed to speak of them in New Rome- it is looked down upon do not mention them or you'll get it 

16. It's practically a minor cult ngl 

17. But it's safe and you can't blame them

18. You can't walk through New Rome without getting into a conversation even if you leave on the other side of town

19. Your all part of a small community that the world doesn't know about you gotta be close and know your neighbor 

20. Everyone is either close or hate each others guts and wants to maim each other
