The doctor slowly opened their eyes. They slowly sat up and looked around. They noticed that they were in bed and they were wearing the clothes they wore yesterday. They looked around and saw four individuals sitting around the bed.

"It's good to see you awake." Leah said cheerfully.

"What are you doing in my home?" The doctor asked the pirates.

"We were exploring the jungle and found this place." William explained. "Sorry for trespassing but we couldn't put our ship on the other side."

"Good call, the navy has been shooting down ships if they haven't been paid an 'extra' docking fee."

"So, the Navy here is extorting merchant ships?" William asked.

"Not just the ships, but also the stalls and shops in the slums." The doctor said.

"Why?" Truffle asked.

"I don't know, I have been dodging marines left and right, so it's not like they tell me anything."

"Truffle made his delicious food with the supplies we brought." Atlanta said handing the doctor a plate of food.

"Thank you." The doctor said in gratitude.

The doctor started eating. The four pirates looked at the doctor curiously. "So, what are you doing living out hear anyway?" Leah asked.

"Avoiding the marines."

"Why? Are you a pirate as well?" Leah questioned excitedly.

"I'm a doctor and they are arresting anyone with special skillsets." The doctor answered eating before pausing and started choaking because they only just realized the second question. "What do you mean a pirate as well?"

"We're pirates." Leah said proudly giving a bright smile.

The crew face palmed. The doctor had an irritated look on their face. "You don't look like a person who lies often, but I can't believe someone can lack the intelligence to keep the fact that you're a pirate to yourself?"

"Do you have a problem with pirates?" Leah asked.

"Personally no, with the marine base is a major deterrent against pirate attacks."

"Cool." Leah said smiling brightly.

"But that does not mean I like pirates."

"What!" Leah exclaimed.

"Pirates are known for attacking innocent people and destroying everything in their path."

"We don't." Leah argued defensively.

"That maybe but you are still showing great disrespect towards those that can't live as free as others."

"That's stupid." William shouted.

Suddenly ten marines stormed into the cabin and pointed their rifles at the doctor and pirates. "Dr. Salamanca you are under arrest for tax evasion."

Leah faked gasped. "That is a terrible crime, you are showing the people that you can skip on your taxes."

Salamanca glared at the red-haired pirate. "I do not need this from a pirate."

"Pirates!" The marines shouted before a wave of pressure knocked them out.

"So your not paying the unofficial tax the local marines are forcing on everyone?" Atlanta summarized.

"No, it's because he's a doctor." Truffle corrected her.

"Can we discuss this later, maybe on the ship before more marines show up." William said.

"Right!" Everyone said exiting the hut only to see that they were surrounded by marines.

"Alright everyone time to fight the law." Leah ordered her crew as the got into fighting stances.
