They are now done decorating their cave. Both are exhausted but at the same time happy at the result of their efforts. The cave looked amazing. It even looked mythical. There is now a bed in one corner covered in soft and warm blankets, making it cozy and comfortable. Scented candles are all over the cave too. Placed perfectly and artistically, making the place look ethereal. There are herbs and flowers too, decorating the cave. Outside, the two made a path and a bridge.

Tian Jin planted two cherry blossom trees, making Yan Da teased him about his love for that tree. He just stuck his tongue out at her. Yan Da just laughed louder at his action.

"Yan Da come here." Tian Jin said after they were finished.

"Hm? What is it?" Yan Da asked, going closer to her friend.

"How properly can you control and manipulate your energy?" He asked, looking at her.

"Mm, well enough? Why?"

Tian Jin smiled. "Can you mark this place and make a barrier? So that only the two of us and people who have our permission can enter this place."

"I can! That's a good idea Yun Fei," She said happily. Closing her eyes, she concentrated on her soul drawing the energy that she needed. Not a moment later, Tian Jin felt the place pulsed. Slowly, a barrier formed surrounding the place and hiding it from the world.

He smiled, readily catching Yan Da when she fell.

"Ow, I guess it needed more energy than I anticipated." The young princess said, massaging her head.

"You did a great job though," he told her. "Look."

The fire princess looked up, following his command. She smiled. He's right. She did create a great barrier. Heh, if only my father and brothers would see this...

Tian Jin watched her, marveling in her happiness. I really love her smile.

"Let's go inside." He said, carrying her.

When they're inside, he put her down on the bed. Yan Da sighed happily, looking once more at the result of their work.

"We did great." She said, meeting his eyes.

"Yeah." He replied, smiling at her. "Lift your right arm."

Yan Da looked at him questioningly but followed his order. Tian Jin then tied a unique bracelet on her wrist.

Yan Da gasped, studying the bracelet. It was made of pure gold. Designed with red markings and a blue gem stone on the middle of it.

"This is beautiful. Did you make this?"

Tian Jin nodded. "It's an advance birthday present."

Yan Da was suddenly quiet...

"Did... you not like it?" Tian Jin asked hesitation in his voice.

He heard a sob. His eyes widened, going near Yan Da.

"Are you crying!? Dui bu qi! If you don't like it then just give it back."

Yan Da smacked him, smiling a bit. "That's not it you dope! I'm just really touched. This is the first time that someone gave something to me. "

Facing Tian Jin, she hugged him. "I really really like you Yun Fei. Promise me you won't ever leave me." she said to him, looking into his eyes.

Tian Jin kissed her on the forehead then hugged her closer. "Yan Da, you are my best friend and I wish that I could stay with you forever. But I'm human remember? My life span isn't like yours. Even if I don't want to... I'll most likely leave you someday."

Yan Da, knowing that what he said is true, just clung to him tighter.
