"Colby." I whispered as he looked up at me. In his hand was a little black ring box, which sent chills down my spine.

"Violet. Since the day I met you I knew that we had this indescribable connection. We fell hard and we fell fast, even if it didn't make any sense. Since that trip to West Virginia you've been the most important person in my life." Colby said as my heart raced in my chest.

"We've had our ups and downs but we always find our way back to eachother." He said as I brought my hand to my chest. "I love you so much, and there's nobody I would rather spend the rest of my life with." He said then opened the ring box.

Inside the box was a silver band diamond ring. The band was encrusted with small black and regular diamonds on each side with a big clear round one in the middle.

It was absolutely gorgeous.

"Violet Renee Richards, will you marry me?" Colby asked as I looked at him in shock for a second. I felt like I was going to pass out from how much my heart was racing.

I knew I loved Colby and I knew he loved me but this was insane. We were broken up for longer than we were actually together. It seemed crazy to jump into something like this.

I thought about how happy I have been since we've been back together though. Being with him made me happier than anything in the world.

We were meant to be.

"Yes." I whispered as a smile bloomed on his face. "Yeah?" He asked as I nodded quickly. "Yes!" I repeated as he stood up and put the ring on my finger, then pulled me in for a kiss.

This kiss was different than any other kiss we have had. This one was so magical and so full of love that I thought my heart was actually going to explode.

Colby pulled away then smiled at me as I looked at the ring on my finger. "I can't believe you!" I said with a wide smile. "Do you like it?" He asked as I nodded. "I love it. I love you." I said then grabbed his cheeks and kissed him again.

He held me tightly then lifted me up and spun around. I pulled my lips back and laughed as he spun.

After a couple seconds he set me on my feet then ran over and grabbed the camera that I didn't notice was a couple feet away. "You filmed that?" I asked with amazement as he stopped the camera.

"I was really banking on you saying yes." He said with a laugh then put the camera in his pocket. "Did you think I would say no?" I asked as he wrapped his arms around my waist.

"I was a little nervous." He admitted as I nodded. "I do have commitment issues." I said as he grabbed the blanket we brought up here and spread it out. "I know, baby. I'm not gonna hurt you though." He said as we sat down.

"Does anyone know this is what you've been planning?" I asked and cuddled into him as we looked up at the sky. "Sam knows, but that's it. I couldn't trust anyone else to keep it a secret." He said as he tightened his grip on me.

"That was probably smart. The girls are gonna freak out." I said then looked at the ring again. I don't think it was going to set it for a long time that wearing this ring meant I would be marrying the love of my life.

"We're really young though..." I said quietly as reality set in. "I know, we don't have to get married any time soon, I just wanted to make it official." He said then kissed my cheek as I pulled out my phone.

"I love you so fucking much." I said then took a couple pictures of the ring, then a couple pictures of the northern lights. "I love you too, baby. I always will." He said then smiled as I took a picture of us with me holding my left hand up.

"Grams would be so happy.." I said then put my phone away and fidgeted with my necklace. "She's looking over you and celebrating in heaven with your parents and grandpa." Colby said and rested his cheek on my head as he tucked me into his chest.

"Yeah, it's gonna be sad having nobody to walk me down the aisle." I said quietly. I knew this was supposed to be a happy moment but the harsh realities of having a wedding were seeping into my brain already.

"I know it's gonna be hard, but I'm here with you through everything." He said and held me as I nodded. "You're right. No more sad things." I said with a sigh then stared at the sky again.

I was absolutely correct when I said that this was easily the most beautiful thing on earth. The way the lights danced along the night sky gave me shivers down my spine.

I never wanted to leave.

"They're so beautiful." I said quietly as Colby nodded with agreement. "I wish I could stay here forever." He said with a sigh. "Let's do it." I said as he chuckled. "Let's have sex?" He asked as I squinted at him. "Usually that would be a hard no, but honestly...thinking about it." I said with a laugh as he leaned down and kissed me.

I moaned into his mouth and let him kiss me for a second before I pulled away. "I don't want to miss the lights though..we can do that later." I said and cupped his cheek. "I'll hold you to it." He said then hugged me again, rubbing my arms since the wind was picking up.

We sat there, watching the sky until the lights eventually faded away. "Can we come see them again another day?" I asked as Colby grinned at me. "Yeah, we can come every day we're here if you want." He said as we folded up the blanket and started our journey back to the car.

"Can I watch the video?" I asked as we got in the car. "Yeah." Colby said then pulled out the camera and pulled the video up. It started out with him on the screen while I stared at the sky.

"Whatever happens, I love you." Colby whispered then stood up straight and shook his hands out nervously before pulling the ring box out. He kneeled down and looked up at me as I stared at the sky.

When I turned around the look of pure shock was priceless.

The rest of the video was adorable, so I was glad that he thought to film it. "How are we gonna tell people?" I asked as I turned the camera off and set it down as we drove back to the cabin.

"You should just send the picture of us with the ring. Or we can send them the video, either one." Colby said as he took my hand. "I think the video would be good but we can cut out the beginning." I said and looked out the window.

"Ki is going to lose her shit." Colby said as I laughed. "Yeah, I'm happy you didn't tell her because I want to see her reaction." I said as he twisted the engagement with his thumb.

"Yeah, it's gonna be a good one." He said as I pulled my phone out. I sent Ki a couple pictures of just the lights so she wouldn't suspect anything then locked my phone.

When we got to the cabin Colby and I made some hot chocolate and lit a fire. "I'll be right back." I said then stood up and walked to the bedroom. When I got there I stopped and looked at the ring again, feeling my heart flutter.

I would never get used to it.

I smiled then walked over to my suitcase and pulled out the black lingerie set that Kat packed for me. I thought it was funny that she packed this one because it was my favorite one.

I put it on then put the garter belt around my waist and put the stockings on that matched. I turned and looked at myself in the mirror, making sure everything looked good. Once I was happy with how it looked I grabbed the white fluffy robe that was hanging on the door and put it on. I looked at myself in the mirror again, just to make sure the lingerie wasn't showing yet.

When I looked at my face I saw something that didn't happen very often.

I saw pure happiness.

I smiled at myself for a second then slowly made my way to the living room where Colby was.

When I walked he had is phone to his ear as he typed something into his laptop. "Hey, man." He said as I walked over slowly. Colby smiled slightly as he looked up at me.

"Yeah, she said yes." He said quietly as I brought my hands to the belt that was keeping the robe tied around my waist. "Yeah, I'm so happy." He said as I slowly untied the tie and shrugged the robe off of my shoulders, revealing the lingerie below.

"Yeah..." Colby said into the phone as his eyes dilated. "Mhmm...I gotta go man." He said then hung up and tossed the phone to the side as I walked over slowly to straddle him.

We were about to have some fun.
