I smiled as I snuggled up to Miles on the sofa in his office. I'd come over, little to my brother's knowledge to spend some time with the prosecutor, who was also my boyfriend. Did Phoenix know about the two of us dating? Absolutely not. Was he going to find out sooner or later? Probably. Especially with Maya and Pearl around. I sighed contently and wrapped my arms around him, "I love you, Miles."

"I love you too, (Y/n)," he replied leaning down and kissing me. I kissed back, obviously and happily adjusting my position so I was not sitting on his lap and straddling him. I wrapped my arms around his neck and continued kissing him. I eventually just got bored and smirked, removing his cravat. This made him break off from my lips, "(Y/n), no. Not here. Someone cou-"

"Miles, you said yourself that no one else stays this late. So there is a very very very small chance of us being interrupted," I replied, now working on unbuttoning his waistcoat.

"(Y/n), hurry up," he ground out.

In the heat of the moment, we failed to hear the knock on the door. It wasn't until we heard the confused shouts from my brother, "Oh God?! What in the work is happening here?!" I immediately rebuttoned my blouse and Miles redid his up too and we turned to the intruder.

"Again, what in the world is happening?!"

"Uhh... Hey Nick..."

"Wright, get out of my office."

"I just came to deliver some evidence for my rival and I arrive to see said rival making out with my sister. How in the world?!"

I took a deep breath, "Nick, me and Miles have been dating for the past few months. It's what people do when they're dating."

His face was still confused, "WHAT?!"

"Y-yeah. Sorry I didn't tell you, Nick. I would have... eventually."

"I'm not mad, (Y/n). I'm just confused. I'm just confused. I never thought that I'd see this. As in you two dating."

"Nick. Drop the files off and leave," I replied, rather harshly.

"Okay, okay," he responded, placing the files onto Miles' desk before swiftly leaving the office, closing the door behind him. I smiled and turned back to Miles, kissing him again, "Let's pick up where we left off, shall we?"
