Camilla's POV

Both me and Adriano collapsed on the bare bed, hot, sweaty and exhausted. He wrapped his arm around me as I was lulled into a deep sleep. 

The next morning I was woken up by the ringing of Adriano's phone. I tapped his arm but he still didn't wake up. I winced as I slid my finger across the screen and put it to my ear.

"Hello." I groggily answered.

"Cam, is that you?" A bright, chirpy voice answered when it clicked.

"Rose, how are you?" A smile spread across my face as I sat up and escaped the heavy arms of a sleeping Adriano, got off of the bed and wandered over to the kitchen.

"Good, how are you doing Cam?" I smiled and held the phone up to my ear using my shoulder as I made myself a mug of tea.

"Great. What have you and Noah been up to recently?" I finished making my tea and took the phone back in my hands.

"Ask Adriano, he's been here sorting some stuff out. That's why I was calling him." I chuckled softly.

"He's asleep, I tried to wake him up but he's sleeping like a baby." I heard her laugh over the other end of the line.

"Just toss some water over him, I've done it with Noah a couple of times. Its hilarious." I contemplated the thought.

"Thanks for the idea, should I video it for you?" She let out a small chuckle.

"No its fine Cam, the kids are calling for me. Tell him to call us back soon please." I smiled.

"I will bye Rose." 

"Bye Cam." I hung up and left my mug of tea on the counter and picked up a large bowl and half filled it with water. I then quietly crept back into the room where Adriano was still fast asleep. I just watched him with a maniacal grin on my face. I then quickly dumped the contents of the bowl onto Adriano's head. He shot up with a confused look on his face before running a hand through his soaking hair.

"Camilla!" He growled loudly. I burst out into fits of uncontrollable laughter. I know so mature for a 25 years old. Bella emerged from her room and looked at her father, a goofy grin appeared on her face.

"Daddy why are you wet?" She asked and Adriano shook his head.

"Ask your mother." He responded gruffly before heading off to presumably find a towel.

"Mamma what did you do?" 

"I woke your dad up by pouring water on him." I wheezed in-between fits of laughter. Bella giggled gleefully and then hugged me tightly. Adriano re-emerged from the bathroom with a towel on his shoulder, his abs glittering with water. I could feel myself begin to drool slightly. looked down at Bella quickly snapping myself out of the trance that I was in.

"Get ready girls we are going to Sicily." A broad smile spread across my face as Bella went to go hug her father. As Bella ran off to her room I started putting the sofa bed away, when Adriano came up behind me placing both hands on my hips. "What you did this morning was not fun Miele." He lustfully mused, the rich Italian accent coming through clearly. 

I cleared my throat "Rose called you this morning, she said that she wanted you to call her back." His hands slowly moved down to my upper thighs, he slowly massaged and caressed them. I let out a small whimper in response.

"I'm ready mamma." Bella voiced and I breathed a sigh of relief. Adriano backed away from me and I finished putting the bed away. I grabbed a carrier bag from the cupboard and took all of the photo's off of the mantelpiece and the pictures that Bella had drawn over the years off of the fridge. Adriano looked over at me and I handed him the bag and headed into Bella's room to get changed. Adriano changed into the clothes that he came here in that were scattered on the floor by the bed. Once we were both changed, we made sure that Bella went to the bathroom and then drive off to the airport where Adriano's plane was waiting in the hanger.

We were soon in the jet and taking off Bella was talking both mine and Adriano's ears off. In the almost three days we were gone she really missed her father, not to mention Apollo. About three hours into the flight Bella fell asleep and Adriano carried her through to the bedroom. I relaxed back onto my seat. Within a couple of minutes Adriano had come back and sat down next to me. I put my head on his shoulder and he rubbed my back softly.  

"What were you up to in Sicily bunny?"

"Just work. Apollo is with Rose and Noah. Rose and the kids want a dog but Noah isn't budging." I smiled.

"I have a feeling Rose will convince him." He nodded and chuckled to himself. "What?" I asked quietly.

"They've been married for more than double the amount of time we've known each other and we are trying to help Rose get her way. " I laughed and then asked.

"How old is Rose now, its been a minute since I've seen her." Adriano thought for a bit before answering.

"42 and Noah is 45." 

We continued to talk about stupid things for a while, Adriano moved his hand and placed it over my slightly bulging stomach, rubbing it in soft circular motions.

"I can't wait for this little one to be born." He commented. I hummed in response before asking

"Do you want a boy or a girl?" He contemplated it for a couple of minutes before responding.

"A little boy, but I don't really care as long as they are healthy." I pecked his lips softly. "What do you want?"

"I couldn't care less as long as they are healthy as you said." He smiled and pressed a kiss to my forehead.

"I love you Miele."

"I love you too bunny." He groaned. "What? Do you really not like that nickname?" He nodded in response. "Well its to late bunny." I purred. He sighed loudly.

We were soon setting foot in Sicily, I really loved it here. When I was young my mother and father would bring me and my brother here and we would stay in a small beach house that my father owned. Bella was eagerly looking around the busy airport and taking in the new sights and crowds. A driver was waiting outside of the airport to pick us up. All three of us sat in the back and quietly chatted as the driver drove. 

A while later large golden gates with the letter V engraved on the gates. They opened and a large mansion appeared. The driver pulled up outside of the mansion and me, Adriano and Bella got out. Noah grabbed Bella's hand and wrapped an arm around my shoulders pulling me closer to him. We walked through the grand entryway. Apollo came barging towards us with a group of children following him. He jumped on Bella and she caught his paws and hugged him tightly. He jumped at me and I petted his head softly and he licked my face. He then sat by Adriano's feet and Adriano scratched behind his ears earning a happy bark.

"Adriano!" The four children yelled gleefully running up to him and hugging him tightly. Once the children had finished hugging him Adriano got down to Bella's level and quietly introduced.

"Bella, these are your cousins. Antonio, Samantha, Dario and Alessio." She waved shyly at them and they smiled broadly at her. "And you little rascals this is your cousin Arabella." They all approached Bella and introduced themselves despite Adriano's introduction. I smiled and leant into Adriano's muscular frame. I watched them for a couple of minutes when Rose, Noah and a young woman entered the room. Adriano quietly whispered in my ear. "That's Rosaline, Noah and Rose's eldest." I nodded. Rose must've just noticed that I was there, as I heard an excited squeal and was soon engulfed in Rose's arms.

"Cam, you're here." I chuckled softly,

"Its nice to see you again Rose." She pulled away. "And you too Noah." He smiled in response and Adriano took me back into his arms.

"Kids why don't you show Arabella around the house whilst I catch up with Cam and Adriano." They all seemingly in sync responded

"Yes mom." And ran off with Bella to show her the house, Rosaline however stayed close to her mother and father. All five of us and Apollo walked through to the living room and sat down on the plush, and most likely expensive sofa's.

"So Cam, I hear that you are pregnant." Rose started and I nodded. "Have you been for a scan yet?" I shook my head no.

"I've had check ups but not a scan because everything has been so hectic recently." 

"I never had a scan during my first pregnancy." She gripped her husbands hand tightly and her rubbed her hand with his thumb.

"Really, is it okay if I ask why?" She nodded and responded.

"I was held hostage by a rival gang and when I found out I was pregnant it was just the case of check ups but they really didn't care if they lived or died." I nodded and leant into Adriano. We chatted for a while before Rose and Noah had to go to their warehouse to sort some shipments that were coming in. 

Bella had come back and we wandered into the garden and as the night rolled in Rose called me and asked if I could make sure that all of the kids were in bed. The maids had prepared dinner and after they had eaten Adriano and I put Bella in bed. I then gave Rose's kids a couple of hours before I shooed them up to their rooms to sleep, well everyone but Rosaline. She had stayed with me and Adriano. She was a really intelligent girl and was telling us about her boyfriend Silvano and how her father reacted. It was funny but made me think about how Adriano would react when Bella had her first boyfriend or girlfriend. I made sure she was okay before me and Adriano headed to bed.

The next morning I was woken up by a loud banging on the door. I managed to get out of Adriano's grasp and went to go answer the door. Rose was stood at the door, she had a large smile on her lips. I yawned and asked.

"What has you up this early?" She laughed and then said

"I came here to thank Adriano, Noah's agreed to get a dog for the triplets birthday." 

"No problem. Anyway, when do you normally have breakfast?"

"In about half an hour, in the first dining room, Adriano knows where he's going." Rose walked off and I stalked back inside the bedroom and announced loudly

"Adriano time to get up." He stirred slightly and opened his eyes. "Get ready, breakfast is in half an hour." He sat up and rubbed his eyes. I walked over to the cupboard and pulled out a baby blue vest and  a pair of leggings. I quickly changed and then threw my hair up into a ponytail before heading out to get Bella up. As I entered the room,  to my surprise Bella was already up and had dressed herself and was on the floor playing with Apollo.

"Bella are you ready for breakfast?" She nodded and stood up Apollo following closely behind her. We made our way back to mine and Adriano's room where he was waiting outside of the door and he walked us to the dining room. Rose, Noah and their kids were already waiting at the table when we got there. Bella sat next to Rose's kids and chatted to them eagerly. Breakfast had just been served and we were all eating and making light conversation when an ear splitting alarm went off. I quickly grabbed a hold of Bella as I watched Rose, Noah and Adriano pulled their guns out and Rosaline pulled her brothers and sister closer to her. I felt a sharp, radiating pain at my shoulder and another at my leg. I fell to my knee's and looked over at Adriano pleadingly,

"Make sure Bella's safe." Was the last thing I said before the darkness took over.
