After the Killing Curse Rebounded And killed Voldermort, The Potter elves Appered And took Baby harry and all the Belongings of Harry And his parents Including their wands From godric's hollow And took it all and Harry to Potter Manor.

The house elves had been given orders Months ago to get the Manor Ready for if James and lily died but Harry survived.

They were told to buy Hundreds of books that harry would need to Learn magic. They were also told to Make rooms up for Remus and Sirius, Buy wolfsbane Potions, Make a Magical Dungeon that Remus couldn't escape And to Get Remus and Sirius Take them to the manor and then give them each letters they had wrote for them.

And when Harry was old enough They were told to give him letters aswell.

The elves Find Sirius first And transport him away just as he was about to Go find Peter. 

And they find Remus in a cabin and they transport him away.

They give the letters to them and then let each other reunite before taking them To Harry's room.

In the letters To them James and lily asked them to be the best parental figures they could be.

And instead of Harry going to Hogwarts to teach him them selves as James and lily realised that Hogwarts isn't the best place to learn as when they joined the order and were fighting in the war they had to learn all by themselves spells that would actually protect them from death eaters as Stunners weren't that good of a spell to be using fighting a war.

And even though they were to train harry hard, he was also supposed to be able to be a kid.
